Date of visit: August 8, 2026 While I really could have gone for a milkshake, Tropical Smoothie Cafe was right across from Chipotle where I was picking up the main event for dinner and this seemed like an arguably healthier choice (with an inarguably shorter wait!) to follow up my food. I was able to walk right in and I quickly perused the menu, stopping abruptly once I saw the words "peanut butter." From there, the rest of the menu was dead to me. My cashier and Smoothista© (I just made that up. You're welcome.) did not have a name tag that I could see and there was no name on the receipt, either. She didn't seem to be excited to be there, but she was efficient, if not overly friendly. The place was dead, so why she felt the need to call out "Peanut Butter Cup" to literally only me instead of just handing it to me, left much to be desired. I visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Henderson, NV [3578 St Rose Pkwy Trl] a total of two times, on Sunday, 03/22/26 & Monday, 03/23/26. I was able to place orders inside the cafe as well as the drive-thru line. In my visits, I tried the Sunrise Sunset smoothie (strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice), Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread (grilled chicken, bacon, tomatoes, romaine, cheddar, and lite ranch), and a side of jalapeño corn. The smoothie was prepared with perfection, especially when I requested it to be thick. I absolutely loved the fruity, tropical taste of the beverage. The flatbread was super flavorful in every bite and the corn complemented it. The inside of the establishment was modern, vibrant, inviting, and clean. The drive-thru line was super convenient and moved at a quick pace. The service from the staff members was efficient and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this location for great smoothies and food, especially since it's open 24 hours! read more

Hey, I can't help it. I love me some Trop Smooth. I might be a little biased and nostalgic with it, as it was my first job when I was 16, but I just love it. Recently, I've been addicted to the peanut butter cup. It's basically like drinking exactly what it's called, a peanut butter cup. It's delicious and rich and tasty! I added nonfat yogurt to it last time and it made it even more delicious. I also ordered the chicken bacon ranch flatbread and that was really good, too. Definitely recommend this spot for a smoothie honestly. It does the job. read more

Every summer Tropical Smoothie heavily promotes the Watermelon Mojito Smoothie, but I've never actually been able to order one successfully. I've visited multiple locations and gotten different explanations every time. Some stores say they have the ingredients but can't sell it, while others say it's available but don't have the ingredients to make it. At this point, it seems like a corporate issue rather than a store issue. It's frustrating to advertise a seasonal item that's consistently unavailable. If it's going to be on the menu and promoted every year, customers should actually be able to order it. read more

It's been over 4 years since I left a review for this location. Clearly nothing has changed since?! Menu must be outdated and confusing for customers to know what's available. Came around 3am Sunday night/Monday morning. The guy working was very sweet, and fast service. I got the watermelon smoothie 10/10

After reading the reviews I was hesitant, but I can honestly say we had a positive experience. Had the T-Mobile deal so we ordered ahead. Went in - now the only negative thing I can say is that no one spoke. There were 2 people working. No one said boo when we walked in or asked if those were our drinks, when they put them in the cubbies. Our drinks were ready ahead of time but may have been sitting there for a couple mins as I didn't see the person put them in the spot and no one called out names. Aside from the lack of interaction, smoothies were made as specified and ready early. I did the açaí berry boost and it was fabulous. I didn't add anything you had to pay for, as everything they up charge I had at home. So I took it home and added the collagen, chia, reishi, etc. but they gave me a great base to start from. Woman got the island green and said it tasted like diluted water. I thought she was being dramatic til I tried it. It tasted like an ice cube melted in a drink. It had no flavor. That wasn't the staff tho. It was the drink. I feel like subsequent visits could go either way, going back to the ratings, but as far as the experience I had, solid. read more

I would have gave this a 5 star if it wasn't for the rude lady that took my money. I have two toddlers and I asked for a small cup so I could give one of my toddlers a little bit of the mango magic and she just rudly said "no" and shut the window. Then I watched her get on her phone and text away. I ordered a PB paradise and Mango magic, which both taste great! Thank you to the gentleman that made them. He was a breath of fresh air with his smile. He was VERY HELPFUL and had no trouble at all giving me a cup, lid and straw for my little one. Being a mom is already hard. If it was an extra charge, that's fine. That lady was not pleasant and my son even asked, "why did she say no?" Thank you again to that gentleman. The store says 24hrs, but the employees don't treat it as such. Entered the drive thru lane at around 2:40a, the automated voice at the speaker did its usual prompt and then I waited for an actual employee response but didn't get it. I waited a few minutes after repeatedly saying "Hello" before deciding to drive up to the window. Get to the window, not an employee in sight. I knock on the window multiple times, nothing. I get out of my car to look at their screens to see if my order was displayed & to my surprise it was! So that was confirmation for me that they're receiving orders and the business is considering itself open. Unfortunately, no one showed up. Other reviews are right. I came in from California and like getting a smoothing from this chain every time I'm here. All applications showed it was opened but when I showed up the doors were locked. I've been to this location a few times before, and have always had middle-of-the-road service. This past visit, however, was the WORST customer service experience I've ever received. My girlfriend and I went through the drive-thru and when ordering, the worker by the name of Kayla C. who took our order had the routing attitude when spoken to. It was a morning, so she may have had a rough start to the day. Nonetheless, when I asked if the meals had sides to come with, she gave attitude in a blunt manner and after I asked her to repeat what she asked, she stated, "I said 'the sides?' " as if she was fed up. When I arrived at the window to pay, she did not state the total and only asked if it was card. She then delivered the food and said NOTHING, not even a "Have a nice day" or a "Thank you". Kayla C., I hope your day got better, because it made ours worse. I recommend to others not to use the drive-thru here after the experience we were given. But the other worker who made the smoothie killed it. read more

Despite the horrific rating, we decided on a late night smoothie (we just left 20 mins ago) and ya know what? We had a pleasant experience! We went through the drive-thru (11:19pm) and our order was immediately taken over the speaker. We then only waited about 3 mins for our drinks. Been going to this location for 5 years and every time I arrive there is no one available that actively speaks fluent English . The language barrier between me and an older woman is insane and she's been here for years. The communication barrier needs to be fixed and the wait time as well. Today that same woman told me to wait 10 minutes and I continually waited more for my drinks . Unacceptable and needs proper management evolved soon. If not it'll continue to go downhill. First tine here and after looking at other reviews, I shouldn't come back. However, my experience was completely different than others. It appears that poor customer service was the main topic many were displeased with. With that said, I received great customer service and received my drink in a timely fashion. The employee was friendly, welcoming and had a great disposition. My smoothie tasted great and was large enough to warrant the price. I highly recommend the super green smoothie. This location needs a negative 5 state. A prime example of the worst customer service even. I've had better service in worst neighborhoods in town. I was trying to order one of their açai bowls today around 10 PM. The person that was speaking to says they're out and they only had the chai bowls so I said that's fine I'll take that. The guy seem frustrated with me because I wanted that one, exhales frustratedly and tells me to "pull up", I haven't even completed my order yet because I wanted a smoothie too. I didn't even waste my time, I just drove off. I don't know who the managing staff at this location is but they need to be fired because this is a repeated issue. Would have been a negative star rating. I walk into the place only customer in it no orders in the drive thru. Rap music playing so loud that didn't hear the door bell. I stood there for 5 minutes then start yelling hello. After the 4 time yelling at the top of my lungs I walk back there and say hello can I get some service. Black kid says yeah. I would have just left but I knew a car in front of me had ordered and knew they were going to be stopped at the window. When someone answered the phone they told me they didn't realize anyone was at the drive thru. I can see why every tropical smoothie has bad reviews , the business simply can't get out their products in a timely manner. Much better compared to last time I came here. Tropical smoothie has redeemed themselves with the chicken pesto flatbread and the sunshine smoothie. Everything was flavorful. The sunshine smoothie was refreshing and the chicken pesto had a good amount of pesto sauce in it which made the flatbread moist and flavorful. Will be back! read more

Ok, I get the one star rating. I've had terrible experiences at this location lately and now must put in my one star review now too. Let me start by saying my kids love their smoothies. It's always a request after our park play dates. So here's my two bad experiences that will make me never visit this location any time soon. 1. This was around mid December 2021 sometime in the afternoon. We pull into the drive-thru and wait a few minutes for someone to talk on the speaker. The female employee finally says "are you here for a pickup order?" I answer back, "no I just want to order a smoothie." She then says "I've been here by myself since 5 am and we have no fruit to make smoothies." Uh ok? I get the employee shortage, but no need to be rude about it. 2. My second visit, now in January 2022. We again pull up to the drive thru, with only one car ahead of us. I place my order for two smoothies and drive to the window. The car ahead of us is still at the window as well. 30 minutes later, the employee hands the car in front of us 4 bags of food. When it's finally my turn to pay for our smoothie, the employee hands me my smoothie that has clearly been sitting out while we waited 30+ minutes for the car in front of us. It was half melted and just not good. My kids were upset that their smoothie was "yucky." The employee could have told the other car to pull up front and they would bring out their food when it was ready. But nope, instead they hold up the rest of the line for everyone else and the smoothies melt. Good job guys!!!! After I ordered I waited 20 minutes for my smoothie. And I only got a smoothie no food. Now I'm late for lunch. Thanks tropical smoothie. Update on the review: The smoothie tasted horrible also, The wait was not even worth it. Update 2 on the review: when back to the store and it took 5 to make the new smoothie. The amount of time it took to get a smoothie I can actually drink, I could've went to the closest competitor and got three drinks. If you want to improve this tropical smoothie. I'm not impressed with this location at all. The girl behind the counter was taking care of drive thru and making counter drinks. I ordered my smoothie, she started to make it, while on the blender she took a drive thru order and was working on that as well. Unfortunately another lady who appeared to be the manager came and involved herself in the drive thru lane and started asking the girl questions, who had everything COMPLETELY under control until the manager stuck her nose into it. My smoothie was sitting on the blender done. The girl came over and poured it into a cup but before she could bring it to the counter, here comes the other lady who left my stuff sitting there and got the drink for the drive thru and then didn't even clean up the mess, she left it for the other girl? This was the worst micromanaging I've seen and totally refused to support her employees. It took a few more minutes but I finally got my drink after others who ordered after me got theirs ALL because of this other lady. Let your employees do their job without interference and maybe morale would be a little higher and customers would be treated better. I won't come back to this location any time soon. I can't support a place that does not support their employees. Workers are hard to come by these days and to treat people who are willing to work in these tough times the way this lady did, they are not getting my support. read more
