They were great! We catered 21 smoothies from them for 3 days straight and they were all great, as usual!

I mean I wasn't even able to get food here and I understand why they have 1 star. I'm coming from another state and have previously worked at tropical and brought my team here excited for them to try it.we came in 45 min before closing and they basically said they couldn't serve us because there was 9 of us and they were closing. To my knowledge as a previous supervisor everyone should be served till at least 15 min of closing. So definitely a horrible experience and I wouldn't suggest someone go here unless they've read the multiple interviews on this place. read more

Terrible experience!! My family was on a road trip up to a cruise at Port Canaveral and our experience almost cost us our entire cruise. We ordered ahead and then also waited for 40 minutes for our food. We watched so many people come and go while we stood there waiting. We got two of our smoothies in that entire span of time. We were running out of time and going to miss our boat, so we told the staff that we needed a refund and to cancel the last two food orders. The staff then slowly went over to the register and got out cash...to go to the store and get more lettuce?? Then EVENTUALLY they came over and said they'd get us a refund and gave us one more of our four orders. Of note, the employee who came over had to first say "hold on mom, I have to go" and hung up the phone...They then tried for 10 minutes to try and get a refund in the system (while on the phone with the manager because no manager was present) and were unsuccessful. My family eventually had to just up and leave without a refund and without part of our order 50 minutes later. I am FURIOUS!! Such a horrible experience!!! The staff had zero understanding of how to do their jobs or work the system and had no urgency to complete their work or help us. On top of all this, we watched SO many other customers come in towards the end of this fiasco, wait around, then leave because no one even came to take their orders. read more

Not going to lie, I was quite disappointed with this visit. Employees were working/moving slower than molasses. I waited a good 15-20 mins for a smoothie. And on top of that, they ran out of strawberries. You might as well close the shop down for the day cause majority of the smoothies use strawberries. read more

I've been to tropical smoothie Cafés in various parts of Florida. It's my go to place when we are traveling or we need some thing on the go. I was absolutely disappointed in this location for several reasons. I know ingredients are sometimes in short supply. They were out of blueberries and pineapple this affected both of the shakes we ordered. They weren't horrible but they weren't as tasty as they normally are. The ladies bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I regret not taking pictures to post but I was trying to get out of there ASAP. The toilet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. There was no paper towels in the dispenser. There was a roll of paper towels sitting on top of the sink and it was completely soaked. The floor was disgusting. My son had to use the ladies room because the men's room is out of order. To be fair, the ladies room is a one person bathroom so It really isn't an issue it was more of a cleanliness issues for us. There was one young girl working in the entire place. That it and of itself shouldn't be allowed! I would have the poor attitude that she had if I were left by myself to run the business too. She was not friendly at all (understandably so) but you are working in customer service so this is not good for business. Very flat affect with us and just looked worn out. Do better Tropical smoothie cafe! We are only on this side of the state for a few days. But I certainly won't be going back there during my stay here. I have never left a bad review because I do try to give every place the benefit of the doubt. This place needs serious help! I was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service. My whole team order on the app for food to be ready the next day at 1:30. I understand a large amount of orders will take a while to make so I had a lot of patience. However, the attitude was extremely unnecessary. Also when a I preordered smoothies at different locations they pre-made them and left them in the fridge. None of the food or smoothies were made when we got there. I knew and understood that we probably wouldn't get all the food at the time we put on the app because there was so many, but the fact that nothing had been made yet when we got there is unacceptable. Every time I've tried going to this Tropical smoothie it never seems to amaze me what terrible customer service I've experienced. I may only go once every 4-6 months, but sometimes you want a "healthier option" for lunch and there's not many options here in this small town. I only get a 30 minute lunch break and I maybe work 3 miles from this location. EVERY time I've called for a call ahead order( maybe should take you 2 minutes to place), I've been put on hold, walked into the store, placed my order, received my order, and when leaving I ask for a manager, no one seems to have an answer on who that is at the time of service, and to tell the front counter person they can go find the phone that they placed me on hold for, its been 25 minutes from the time I TRIED calling ahead my order to now. I always get the look of confusion, as to no one remembers placing me on hold or even I'm sorry. I try to give this location a try time and time again, and I think this is the last straw. My food was made wrong, THANK god I do not have an allergy, presentation was awful, soggy, luckily the my smoothie was made right. Sadly when I walked into this location this last time, a poor woman was waiting for her online order which she had placed and confirmed done at 1050am, she was still there at 11:35am waiting for the manager to talk to her and give her a refund( or at least apologize) since she was just given her food. Use to come to this store several times a week but now I find myself avoiding this Tropical Smoothie. My favorite smoothie is the peanut butter paradise with whey. So today I thought let me go in and try again, but was highly disappointed. I asked that my drink be made nice an blended and creamy. So the young lady made my drink and it was nothing but ice. So I asked for it to be remade, so she remade it but it was the same way and only filled 3/4 of the cup. I took it as I didn't want it to be made for the 3rd time. I will never come to this store again and will tell everyone about this Tropical Smoothie!!! You need to retrain your employees on how to make these drinks correctly. Was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Call in service was good got there, people were nice, paid & left with my "Loaded" Spinach Salad. Looked at it while driving down the road... WHERE was the Gorgonzola cheese that should be on it!!! Drove back told them they forgot the cheese. They said they were out of that (so they put NOTHING on it?) but they did have, cheddar, parm or mozzarella... (I took cheddar). When I started eating it, a lot of the spinach was bad, the cheese was minimal along with the nuts and bacon. $8.00 for a salad with very little in it, NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!! read more

I was VERY disappointed. I've been going for years to this store, today when I walked in the garbage was literally everywhere.. overflowing out of the garbage can. 2 very rude employees didn't even greet me and saw me standing there for about 5 minutes. Everyone makes mistakes, but the girl made 4 smoothies before I said I ordered before these other people and she said well sorry!
