I said thats fine, charge me. The girl next to her told her don't charge me for it because I bought a bottle of water and wanted a cup of ice to pour it over. She goes back and forth with her about charging me for a cup. She sat the large cup down and rang me up for the bottle of water. After the payment went through she took the large cup back and sat down the water cup and said I wasn't charge for that so she couldn't give it to me. I did not have a problem paying for the large cup. If she didn't feel comfortable doing it like her co worker said then she should have just charged me for the cup, but she cashed me out. Now I don't want to swipe my card for just the cup. All of that for a bottle of water I don't like(Aquafina). I ended up going next door to get a large cup of ice to pour my water over. With that being said I won't be coming to this Jersey Mike's again. I may never go to another Jersey Mike's ever because of this experience.

Plus, the bread didn't look proofed at all; it was super thin and reminded me of breadsticks. I wanted to order a turkey sandwich but get the meat heated up separately. I am pregnant, cannot eat cold deli meat, and don't like toasted subs (which I explained). Guy at the register, I'm assuming is the manager cause he had a red shirt on, told me I can't get it toasted cause it's a "cold sub", that I needed to get something from the speciality hot sections & can customize. I explained that I don't want it toasted, just the meat heated separately. He repeated himself again without further explanation. So I decided on the turkey with avocado, no avocado, with meat toasted separately. He has the audacity to ask me "what, no avocado for the baby?". I told him no cause it's not fresh, which he agreed, then said they can't toast the meat separately cause it will burn. That doesn't make sense at all cause I've done it at other places with no problem. I was confused and he got an attitude with me because I didn't understand. Finally, I said fine, just add salt & pepper. He responded, while smiling, "we don't have salt and pepper. We only had oregano & parm". I've never had to bite my tongue so hard to not get an attitude with someone. And the guy had the nerve to say all of this with a smile on his face. If you want a good sub that's worth the price and where bread that doesn't look like Olive Garden bread sticks, go to the pizza place on the other side of the plaza!

What a pleasant surprise Mia's turned out to be. I was…read morehonestly expecting the usual American-style pizza you find everywhere around here-- nothing like a real Italian pizza. Instead, I got a pizza that actually reminded me of the ones back home. The dough was the star: light, flavorful, and with that homemade (fatta in casa) feel. Finally, I found a place close to home that knows how to make real pizza for those days when I don't feel like making it myself. The desserts deserve a shout-out too. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the ladyfingers in the tiramisu were a bit too soaked for my taste. And while the Key Lime dessert was delicious, I was expecting a bolder lime flavor. It felt a little too subtle--I like that citrus kick to really stand out. Other than those tiny details, everything was great. We'll definitely be coming back. Mia's has officially earned a permanent spot on our go-to list.

My…read morewife ordered the chicken parm on a sub roll and I had the Italian, plus a rainbow cookie and a slice of pistachio ricotta cake. Everything was to go. The sandwiches took about 18 minutes to make as I could see the ticket time on the screen where they prep them. The sandwiches tasted alright. The bread was thin with no real structure to it. A good sub roll can be thin and still hold up, but this one didn't. The meat, cutlets, and sauce were fine, but the chicken parm sub was extremely soggy. The desserts didn't do much either. Both were lacking flavor. The pistachio ricotta cake had a slight pistachio taste, but the rainbow cookie was just flavorless. Staff was nice, but between the wait and the food, I don't see myself coming back. Can't speak for the rest of the menu since I didn't try it, but when I'm in the mood for Italian, this won't be the place I think of. I will also note that the website photos look auto-generated by AI, which is a bit off-putting. Edited from 2 stars to 1 after the manager's sarcastic response to this review. That tells me everything I need to know about how they handle feedback.
