Smoothie tasted great. I got the Chia Banana Boost. Very yummy and filling. Hit the spot on a hot day. I made my order online for easy pick up...or so I thought. After placing my order it said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Customer service was terrible. Absolutely terrible. When I walked in every employee was making smoothies or food items. Not ONE employee greeted anyone that walked in and not ONE employee was on the register taking orders. I went to the "online pick-up" area. Again, no one to greet or assist other customers that were waiting. After about 20-25 mins of waiting, myself and other customers were finally acknowledged and given our orders. Still no verbal interaction with the employees though. Great smoothie, terrible customer service. read more

I came here with a friend to order some smoothies before a tennis tournament. Overall the workers were so accommodating and offered to assist me in making a decision on what were the top smoothies. I would say that the cafe has great covid 19 procedures and offered safe social distance seating along with plexiglas. All the workers were wearing masks and were following procedures. I will definitely come back soon. Such a great place to get healthy food and drinks. read more

March 3rd approximately around 5:10-5:18 I never been here before but I was craving for a mango pineapple smoothie that's wasn't from McDonald's. I was telling the cashier my order of mango magic. Behind her, I seen her coworker who was making a smootie ;dropped a cup. I gave her the money with the benefit of the doubt maybe he's going to throw it away. He proceeds to use the same cup that fell on the floor. I asked for my money back and walked out . read more

I love Tropical Smoothie....love, love, LOVE it.....except this one. I was so excited to learn there was one close to my home....aaaand was I ever disappointed! Place didn't look very clean, blenders were broken, and my there wasn't anything smooth about my smoothie....ice was like gravel. My food my cold by the time they got my pseudo-smoothie done. Bad experience....sorry but probably won't be back. read more

Wendi the store manager was wonderful to work with. We catered food for my co workers birthday party. The food was beautifully wrapped, toothpick colored to distinguish the variety of wraps. The salad was amazing!! I highly recommend this location and this franchise !! read more

We just had a catered office party. Wendi did a phenomenal job. Everyone raved about the smoothies. The wraps were great. I personally enjoyed the chicken pesto flatbread. Beautiful presentation. I appreciated the extra care taken to carefully label for the 2 food allergies in our group. I was happily surprised by the catering options and I will definitely be ordering lunch from there soon. I couldn't be happier with how seamless the process was. read more

Terrible. They have no clue what you ordered, even after you are notified the order is "ready for pick". Once you prove what you ordered that's when they begin making your order, but with attitude. Clearly they are not happy. I'm trying to support a local business but they don't seem to care about the customers. Never again. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Thai Chicken Bowl with "extra chicken"!? - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Deer Park, New York

ALLERGIES. I only give reviews when I think a place really needs it. That being said I always ask for a Buffalo Chicken Wrap with NO tomato. Without fail, every single time, I get a tomato on it. I ordered through grub hub, so unfortunately I couldn't say anything in person this time. Now I'm left with food that I paid for and can't eat because I'm allergic. This place is full of teenagers who have no idea what they're doing. Maybe make the screen/font a little bigger so they can make orders correctly. read more

Currently 11 people waiting for their food and there's only 2 people behind the counter. Makes no sense, it's summer time people are going to want smoothies. Why not hire more people or have more people on this shift? Also the people working here look so sad, like what's wrong? Food takes 2 minutes and smoothies take forever so by the time I get my smoothie my food is just as cold. Thanks. This is why I stopped coming here 3 years ago. read more

Called to inquire about the complimentary smoothies listed on the internet ... was hung up on and laughed at as a health care provider looking for something to brighten my staffs day. Don't advertise this from corporate if you are not willing to follow through and when I called back I was lausghed at again and told the manager wasn't there and would take a message ... clearly not true. I can only hope all health care providers and the families that live them choose now not to frequent your store because of your poor behavior especially in these times. Sorry I even called read more

Ordered online. When I came in to quickly get a replacement cup for my child's drink I was ignored for a while. There was only one person ordering at the time and two staff just looking busy, while the 3rd was making a drink. When someone finally asked what needed, they told me I could not get a new cup. I had to give them a reason to give me a cup. My kids cup broke. I wasn't looking for a new drink to be made just A cup. They gave me the cup but like if you cups are so special they shouldn't break. Love this company. Hope they can get this location back to standard. ****forgot to add before company replied***** I was so focused on my kids drink that we didn't notice till I left that my order was a Watermelon Mojito but I was given a Jetty without being told. They just scratched off my order and replaced it. Super dangerous for people with an allergy. read more

This is by far the worst tropical smoothie-I've ever been to-the service is beyond slow every single time when their are more than enough employees working-5 employees only one customer in front of you and your order still takes 30 minutes is not okay-the workers are slow and lazy-just now a girl just showed up clocked in and then asked another girl to come to the register because it was time for her to go on break-on break???? Hunny you just showed up-their needs to be a manager here at ALL times when you have young kids basically running the place-not to mention they mess up the order almost 100% of the time because they are careless-and my food somehow is still always cold-I'm paying an extra $3 for jalapeño corn and it's ice cold-a disgrace-I will purposely drive out of my way to go to a different location. read more

I love tropical cafe smoothie. That being said the corporation needs to close down this location. The staff is not trained properly. They messed up my order 5 times. Didn't get my discount when I own my plastic smoothy cup. They ran out of coffee, honey mustard and they got angry when I tried to order a wrap that wasn't on the menu. That should have been a sign to just cancel and go to my normal store. The last straw was giving me a quesadilla when I ordered a wrap and when they made my replacement wrap it had ONE piece of bacon and looked like a child put it together. ‍ shut it down or re-staff the entire building. By the look of the star rating they already have it's a sinking ship anyway. (I should have check this before going of course) save yourself the headache and skip to the next location! read more

Always tastey! Love the paradise point smoothie! Location is always busy but the app works great to avoid the lines. Would of been 5 star review if the service there was better, under staffed. Always a decent wait, even when placing online order ahead of time. If I don't place order on app before I leave for my lunch break I won't make it back in time, and that's me only ordering a smoothie. read more

taking 45 minutes to make a smoothie everyyyyyyyyy time. stupid ass girls working behind the counter. Called and showed up 15 minutes later watching 2 girls make 5 smoothies before having to press them and ask where my call in order is. Then I watched them make 2 more smoothies before mine and having to ask AGAIN. And gave me the wrong smoothie!!!! took me 30 minutes out my way. There was one girl just restocking and looking stupid, she didn't know what she was doing. Worst experience this is exactly why I didn't go there the past 4 months and won't be going again. PLEASE HIRE NEW FEMALES ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS THERE SHOULDNT BE A DIFFERENCE FOR APP OR THE PHONE. regardless they should have a smoothie made in 5-10 minutes. Why do I have to Go to an app when I placed the order on the phone this is so ridiculous. Can you fire the girl who just stands there and tell them to MAKE THE PHONE ORDERS BEFORE THE PERSON WAITS FOR 20 MINUTES. why I can't even respond to the business owners response is ridiculous because that is inexcusable and completely not helpful. read more

This is our go-to spot for our team and myself. We run a local pest control company down the street and everyone comes here for breakfast/lunch! Truthfully the one in Deer Park is such trash on the weekends. They all have such attitudes. Like they were annoyed to be there and had to help you. I asked the girl Heidi to repeat herself and she rolled her eyes, sighed and said she didn't say anything in a nasty tone. Then her and her friend started whispering in Spanish, looked at me and kept laughing. I'm here all the time and every time I'm here on a weekend. There's an issue. The older people who work during the week are wonderful and joyful to be around so I'll give it 3 stars for the workers who are pleasant to be around. read more

I normally go to the smithtown location before work and have enjoyed my choices. We were in the area and I decided to place an on the go order through the app. We ended up getting there way sooner than I thought (130 today) and it was surprisingly very busy. I figured my order wouldn't be ready but when I reached the register the girl was smiling and very nice despite the crazy amount of people waiting. She assured me it would be done soon. As I waited I took a look at the others all working very well together filling the orders. They all seemed like they knew what they were doing and worked quickly. We waited a few minutes and our smoothies were ready. We had the ginger orange which could have been blended a little bit more. We also had the peanut butter chocolate which was very flavorful. They both were very cold and even after sitting 30-40 minutes they still were great. I never realized the amazing food options they offer. The huge menu on the wall grabbed my attention so I will be back to try some of the sandwiches for lunch! read more

The morning crews are better than the closing crews. If they are closing at 9pm, don't bother getting there after 8:30 (they sign and suck in wind if you ask for a smoothie a half hour before closing. I wish I didn't have to give a star. This was the worst tropical smoothie I've ever been to. Completely unorganized. The workers looked as if they all were just awoken from a nap. Totally slow & had bad attitudes. I waited AN HOUR for my smoothie in which they were serving everyone else either food & drinks before me even when I was here first. Then they made my drink and never called me to come get it. It completely melted & when I refused to take it and wanted a new one. They stared at me & completely ignored me. There was NO manager on duty. & when I asked what's the number to call they all said " I don't know it" well maybe you should. COMPLETELY NEED MORE TRAINING. I advise nobody go here if you're in a rush or you're starving or really want a smoothie. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!!! read more

Just ordered two Tropical smoothie drinks and two sandwiches. Paid for them, however, we only got one sandwich. Then when I called them to be "aware" that we only got one sandwich, didn't seem concerned... So whoever took the order on the phone "cannot hear well at all" and/or should get their ears checked. Very disappointed as they said they cannot do anything. Have been there many tImes. Will not be going back. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It is sad to say this because I love tropical smoothie but this is the worst one I have ever been to. I have worked at smoothie cafes since I was 16 and I am now 22. I would never even think of acting like the workers here do. They are rude and look like they don't want to be there. Like Chris said in the last yelp, it is sad to see a bunch of disorganized twenty-somethings who don't seem to care about their job, the food or the customers, when I know when I worked for the smoothie cafes I would never be able to act like they do or I wouldn't have a job. I love the food when it is made right but at this place it's almost never. All I ever ask for is no tomatoes and no sugar, how hard is that? I never get my food how I order. Today I was there starving and I ordered a chipotle chicken flat bread like I always do and that was not what I got. So I drove all the way back and it took 5 min before someone to even come to my attention, then it took 10 min to make it. They made everyone else's food and smoothies before mine. Then the girls tried to tell me it was rung up wrong, the girl who made my food was next to the girl who rung me up so I don't want to hear it was rung up wrong, both of you couldn't get what I said right? Again, at the smoothie cafes I worked at the messed up food would be the first one out, we would never make up a reason for it being wrong, and we would have offered something else with it for free as an apology. I kept giving them a chance because I love every other tropical smoothie but I am done with this one. This is the only reason I made a yelp account because I have never had such bad service and I couldn't contact the owner directly read more

Worst location ever. Don't go here. You'll be waiting for 25 minutes for them to not even make your order until you remind them. Then once you eventually get it you'll get 3/4 of a smoothie and a cold flatbread. No thanks, I'll pass! Oh and also they give you no debit card option other than to tip them atleast 10% for them to ruin your lunch break & don't even offer you a receipt. read more
