Tropical Kitchen is a little hidden gem in old Cabo. This family run, boho vegan café takes pride in thier food - all sauces and dressings and plant based milks are all made in house with love. What stood out was not only the kind service but the complimentary Hibiscus Flower Pastor and is not to missed. Seriously this topping is crack and can be added to any item on thier menu. I told the owner he should sell it in a tub because it's that good. I opted for the Xcacrel Acai Smothie Bowl and my hubby had the Monte Cristo. You can taste and see the love they put into thier creations. With were satisfying and the owner even offered additional seed toppings because I devoured what I had in my bowl. If you're looking for a healthy, laid back, boho vibe cafe away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo, make the short trek inward to TC. This place is sure not to be missed. Oh and the music playing was .

Charming, visually lovely vegan spot in Cabo Great vegan spot in Cabo, absolutely adored the ambiance of the restaurant, they had a lovely eclectic selection to choose from, the food was imaginary, so aesthetically appealing and immensely flavorful.

The vibrant interior atmosphere of the restaurant.

This is hands down a hidden gem in downtown Cabo San Lucas! I was searching for a unique restaurant on Yelp and this one quickly caught my attention by their vibrant atmosphere and unique foods. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I loved the murals, plants, and tropical bird mobiles decorating the walls and ceilings. The cook/owner of the restaurant is a really friendly guy and we had great conversations about his family and the concept of the restaurant. The food is purely vegetarian and vegan, now I'm a carnivore but I still loved all of it! One of the things that stood out to me was how they provide authentic Mexican food with healthy and eye-catching detail. I was not disappointed and will go there anytime I'm in Cabo!

My favorite place on earth. Tropical Kitchen is a hidden gem in Cabo San Lucas. You'll find this fruity oasis when you escape the crowds and explore deeper into the city. I've visited the Tropical Kitchen twice now - once with my brother and another with my parents. Both visits left us as lifelong supporters of this concept. It's hard not to be when the business is ran by the sweetest husband and wife duo - #couplegoals. Every item on their menu is handcrafted and made fresh to order. I've tried both their acai bowls and smoothies and each left me wanting more. The presentation is also top notch! You won't find a more aesthetic menu item in all of Cabo. The açaí bowls are served on hand painted platters and the smoothies come with their own tiki hut. While the Tropical Kitchen specializes in smoothies and acai bowls, they recently launched additional menu items like burritos, tortas, and chilaquiles. I'm obsessed with this place and wouldn't make a trip to Cabo without at least one to two visits!

Amazing breakfast and service! One of my best meals in Cabo! Beautiful plates and interesting condiments

Cute place! We came by earlier today and the food presentation was so beautiful. The smoothie was so refreshing and not too sweet at all! It was refreshing and it had nice bits of chunks of fruits to it. There were also coconuts and chia seeds. We also had cold brew frappe it was very delicious and refreshing! My boyfriend ordered this. Additionally we ordered the green chiqualies and the xcalel açaí bowl. We really liked the chiqualies but the açaí bowl was a bit sour! It tasted healthy tho :-) next time we're around we would try the smoothie bowl.

Loved this place so much we went here twice on our trip to Cabo! The interior is gorgeous and inviting to local birds. We had excellent service from the owners both times we went and the food was incredible. I highly recommend ordering anything with the hibiscus "al pastor" (they bring out a bit for you to try with chips when you arrive). It was so delicious I'm going to attempt to recreate it at home! I also ordered the Tropical Waffles on our second visit to which I also highly recommend (my boyfriend says they were the best waffles he's ever had)! We had people in our group that were vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and had no dietary restrictions, and everyone was so satisfied with their meal. Can't recommend this place enough!

My friends and I were in Cabo for four days and after stumbling upon this hidden gem, we visited three times. It's clear the owners (Jazmin and Allan) are passionate about their dream -- they have made Tropical Kitchen a warm, inviting place, with tons of healthy vegan options. They welcomed us into their restaurants as if it was their own home and I loved getting to know them both. They generously shared their history, ambitions, and love for cooking -- which is all based in the chef/owners hometown in Mexico. Everything we had on the menu was delicious (including fresh fruit smoothies) and had a beautiful presentation. I was so happy to be able to take home a bottle of their traditional chile de arbol salsa for myself! We also went to their newer venture (Selva Taqueria), which is 2 blocks away, and enjoyed a lovely taco dinner and agua fresca. I am already excited to visit them on my next trip to Cabo to see their dreams and menus grow!

Sooo fun inside

Obsessed with tropical kitchen...wish I could clone this cafe for my hometown! We were in Cabo for 4 days and came here 3 days in a row. The food and smoothies are crafted with love and the owners are passionate about their business. Love the complimentary chip and dip, huevos rancheros, the BEANS omg, and the QUETZAL smoothie (packed with phenomenal greens).

the freshest açaí bowl I've ever had. Mexican coffee with cinnamon.

the ambiance is so quaint and cute, the owner explained the theme of the restaurant is represented by tropical birds. very aesthetic. the food was presented with such craft, but the flavor omg impeccable. thee best pancakes I've ever had along side the açaí bowl. if you're ever in cabo, vegan/vegetarian or in need of a fresh smoothie - please don't hesitate to visit.

Awesome food! They are run by a husband wife team. The wife is the chef. They are super inventive and creative with their salsas and even make a "pastor" from hibiscus flower. The salsa they make is from the wife's hometown, quite spicy, with chile de arbol. We ended up buying the hibiscus flower and salsa for friends and family. Will definitely be back when we are next in Cabo!

Excellent food (a Ciabatta sandwich, a burrito and hotcakes + 2 smoothies), super-warm host, unpretentious decor, a laid back and memorable lunch. LOVED it!

The food is so fresh and delicious. The colors are so vibrant and pretty. The owner is super nice and you can tell they take pride in each plate that comes out. I hope we have a chance to come back before going home. We said WOW to everything and YUM!

I stumbled across this place on my month long Cabo vacation and by far this was my favorite 'hole in the wall'. The place is run by a young Mexican chef Cynthia and her food is magic! She weaves modern presentations with 'grandmas recipes' to create beautiful food! The first time I visited there was just one other patron there at the time and I sat down at the 'family-style' table they had near him. I was fixated on the dishes he was eating... let's just say he was happy-happy Cynthia's boyfriend (Carlos I think) greeted me and we began to chat; he was a DJ and seafood chef that had recently decided to move back to Cabo and help Cynthia make her magic. We chatted a bit about Cabo, the local restaurant scene, tourist scene, urban tourism, and music... basically, I felt as if I was visiting a friend at his restaurant getting the low-down of the area. After a while, it was time to eat and I asked Carlos to pick a few things for me.... I wasn't disappointed!!! (By this time ts was just Cynthia and Carlos and I) First, there was the 7 hande made hot sauces .... the ones with the nuts are to die for... Cynthia explained that most of the sauces were from the part of Mexic she grew up in, but that a few of the others where with peppers from where Carlos grew up. Then Cynthia began to bring me several small dishes (that I hadn't even ordered...) each one was more amazing than the next (see photos) I guess I bugged Cynthia so much that when I got up to leave she brought me a few little to-go containers with some of the dried peppers she used to make here salsa's with instructions how to make them on my own... as well as a recommendation and direction to the local spice market for a bigger variety of spices. If you want to visit a unique, urban, foodie experience this is place is a must!!!

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. I took one bite and nearly wrote home about it. Rich, smoky, a little sweet... the sort of sauce that makes a man pause mid-chew and reconsider every sauce he has ever trusted before. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The staff goes the extra mile with every little detail, and before long you realize you didn't just stop for tacos you discovered a whole new method of happiness, served on a tortilla.

We were recommended this place by our hotel (ME Hotel), so we came in with high expectations. What we ordered: *Two esquites *Two tacos *Beans *Two micheladas *One spicy margarita Our total came out to $150, which completely shocked me. The place itself does not have a high-end vibe or atmosphere, so the pricing just didn't match the experience at all. The service was nice, I'll give them that, but the food did not justify the cost. I've had way better tacos for way less. And trust me, I've had a lot of tacos in my lifetime. It honestly feels like this place is taking advantage of tourists with these prices.
