We are vegans, but even if you aren't, this is hands down the best vegan food we have ever had! Wow! Sooooo fresh. So impressive. So innovative. The food was delicious, entrees I have never had before. The cocktails were also super super tasty and unique. This is a Cabo MUST!

Came here to pick up some take out after a long tiring day of water activities and we decided to sit down for some tres leches cake because the environment here was sooo zen and beautiful. There was some guy playing a guitar and singing and the music was sooo soothing and calm it made us feel super at peace with the heat and all the crazy exciting activities we did that day. The waiters were also super friendly which added to the experience. I found myself at peace here which is amazing. Mako is a vegan and vegetarian place so this place doesn't serve meat. I really wish I had gotten a burger because most people here get a burger or sandwich and it looks BOMB. Instead I got the caprese pasta because I was really craving it. My friend got a salad and the pesto pasta and she loved it as well. We also got some pineapple ice drink and it looked really awesome but too sweet we couldn't finish even 1/3 of it. None the less I would totally come back next time for the burger!!!

we stumble upon this place and as vegans visiting Cabo, it was an absolute dream. we got the empanadas, sashimi and tacos. all of them were soooo good that we even got doubles of some. this is definitely going to be a spot we come back to when we visit the city

OMG, doesnt sum this place up!!! sooo good! its worth the trip if you are anywhere close to the area. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! We had the hotdog and the burger. Best Vegetarian food I've ever eaten. They can also make the food vegan if you need it to be. I met one of the owners, and she was super friendly and very informative about the food. Everything is made fresh there! Dont just walk to this place, RUN! FAST!

The best vegan/vegetarian food in Cabo. Took us a bit of time to find but once we did we were very satisfied. Great variety of foods and everything is served and prepared with great great. Presentation and ambiance is very pleasant and impressive. Loved the family-like feel with their own fresh garden, pug, and friendly staff. Definitely a must to visit whether you're vegan or not.

Love love love. Wonderful ambience, enjoyed the music (earlier in the day a chill house- like vibe with some beats as the afternoon progressed), the service and kind hospitality, and the food! The best vegan burger I've ever had next to a beet burger on the beach in Ecuador. Amidst all the surf and turf, we were so happy to find good clean vegan options. We ordered the big vegan and the Hawaiian burgers. After a long walk on the beach to get here, out was everything we needed and more. Thank you Mako!

I am working in Cabo for 17 days and finding a variety of vegan food hasn't been the easiest of ventures. I am beyond thrilled to come across Mako. It's adorable location is inviting and warm. The staff is always smiling and moving at the speed of light to bring you all the goodness. It was prompt without feeling rushed. Upon sitting I was greeted with chips and a beet/apple salsa that was thru the roof delicious. I ordered the 'Big Mako' - a lentil burger with caramelized onions and mushrooms, served with potato wedges, pickled jalapeños/onions/pickles. It was incredibly good. Taking advantage of being at a veg/vegan restaurant I HAD to have dessert. Today's dessert was a key lime tart made with avocado in what tasted like a date/coconut crust and topped with fresh fruit. At one point, I'm pretty sure my server caught me licking the plate. Speaking of licking, there is the most adorable pug scooting around from table to table making sure everyone is smiling and doing quality control. I have another 13 days here and don't fault me if I'm back every one of them.

Wow! So exciting to find a vegan spot in downtown Cabo. All of their ingredients are fresh, healthy, and tasty. We tried a variety to explore the menu. We started with a non-alcoholic freshening drink. Fresh cucumber, pineapple, and water. So good. We ordered a hot dog, Mexican bowl, and pasta. All were fantastic. We felt satisfied while also leaving feeling healthy. Truly nourishing food. Venue: super cute outdoor restaurant. Natural wood tables with green accents. All nicely done with a rustic organic touch. And all nicely shaded from the sun. Service: friendly, personable, and fast. And the lady helping us spoke English very well. Look for the resident doggie. A cute white and black pug. So cute. We will be back.

Who knew Vegan could taste so good? GET THE BIG VEGAN BURGER oh my god so good This place is a little tough to find but that makes it extra special. We went in the early evening and enjoyed the soothing sounds of live music played by a local hipster acoustic guitarist while sitting amongst the greenery of the quaint garden complete with bird bath and lighted palm trees. Try the coconut mojito, it's excellent! And reasonable price too. They bring over some mint - cucumber sauce in a shot glass. I wasn't sure what it was for as its way too creamy to drink, then after eating a slice of fresh jalapeño from my wife's mushroom sashimi, I quickly realized it's too cool off your mouth! I had the glorious tasty treat which is known as the big vegan burger. Two giant portobello mushrooms sandwich in a succulent lentil burger with a tour of the world for your taste buds in each amazingly succulent bite! I mean, seriously was not expecting it to taste so good. The Carmelized onions and guac help make it even better. It's messy, so use the fork and knife. Coming back for more this week!

While traveling sometimes you feel like a refreshing meal is all you need - this is the place for you! The food was light, tasty, and at a good price. Ideally, they would also have different kinds of bread. (It was good bread, but we were wishing for something different!) This restaurant is also conveniently by the Marina Fiesta resort!

Such a great vegan find! If you are vegan in Cabo, this is your best stop! It has a nice outside seating area. Everyone was extremely nice! So nice not having to worry if the food would be vegan. I would give this place 10 stars. And I hope they keep growing and open more locations!

The live mariachi band was incredibly talented and created the perfect atmosphere for the evening. The staff was welcoming, fun, and professional, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Their recommendation to order the appetizer sampler was spot on--the fundido, quesadilla, empanadas, and sopes were all fantastic and perfect for sharing. The carnitas were unbelievably tender and full of flavor, while the sea bass had everyone at the table raving. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert stole the show! The flan was silky smooth, the churros were warm and crispy, and the tres leches tequila cake was an absolute must-try. To top it all off, the cocktails were creative, beautifully presented, and just as delicious as the food. Los Tres Gallos delivered an incredible dining experience with amazing food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that truly captures the spirit of Cabo. We can't wait to come back!

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

I stumbled across this place on my month long Cabo vacation and by far this was my favorite 'hole in the wall'. The place is run by a young Mexican chef Cynthia and her food is magic! She weaves modern presentations with 'grandmas recipes' to create beautiful food! The first time I visited there was just one other patron there at the time and I sat down at the 'family-style' table they had near him. I was fixated on the dishes he was eating... let's just say he was happy-happy Cynthia's boyfriend (Carlos I think) greeted me and we began to chat; he was a DJ and seafood chef that had recently decided to move back to Cabo and help Cynthia make her magic. We chatted a bit about Cabo, the local restaurant scene, tourist scene, urban tourism, and music... basically, I felt as if I was visiting a friend at his restaurant getting the low-down of the area. After a while, it was time to eat and I asked Carlos to pick a few things for me.... I wasn't disappointed!!! (By this time ts was just Cynthia and Carlos and I) First, there was the 7 hande made hot sauces .... the ones with the nuts are to die for... Cynthia explained that most of the sauces were from the part of Mexic she grew up in, but that a few of the others where with peppers from where Carlos grew up. Then Cynthia began to bring me several small dishes (that I hadn't even ordered...) each one was more amazing than the next (see photos) I guess I bugged Cynthia so much that when I got up to leave she brought me a few little to-go containers with some of the dried peppers she used to make here salsa's with instructions how to make them on my own... as well as a recommendation and direction to the local spice market for a bigger variety of spices. If you want to visit a unique, urban, foodie experience this is place is a must!!!
