I went here with a Groupon for a spa pedicure and shellac manicure. Let's start with what was good-…read morethe pedicure. The woman who did it was thorough and did a good job with the nail polish. She really worked at getting the dead skin off my feet. I was impressed. I even bought one of the big files that she used from the front desk when I was leaving. The shellac manicure started and this is where it all went downhill. The woman doing it really did not seem to care about the quality of her work. She took my old polish off (missing a few spots of that) and started putting the shellac on. No nail trimming, no work on my cuticles, nothing. I could have dealt with that if she had done a good job with the polish, but it was awful. I attached pictures to show how it looked. Not only was it not even close to the edge of my nail, but the edges were jagged. She was so skimpy with the top coat that there were divots and matte areas where there was no top coat at all. Having had shellac manicures before, I know how long they should last. This one started flaking off after 3 days. As for the shop, maybe it was an off day but it was in disarray. There were random teeth whitening kits laying around, cleaning supplies all over the place, and cobwebs in a side door that isn't used. Not exactly a calming atmosphere. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the pedicure was good. I will never return here.
