A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. However, after a couple of weeks the cooling performance fell off and I called to ask to have the system checked. Kevin from the Englewood team arrived a couple of hours later, explained what we could do to make the system work better and then checked out the operating parameters. He determined that while it was working, it wasn't up to spec and went looking for the problem. He found a fitting that had vibrated loose enough to allow a slow coolant leak so he called for more coolant. A few minutes later, Mason arrived and the two of them tightened the fitting, recharged the system and then stayed past 6:00PM to be sure the system was working properly. The total charge for the service call, the coolant and the time was zero. Just an assurance from both men that Grande Aire is committed to our satisfaction. We a BIG fans!!

We provide them with the contact information for the two ferries that service the island. They cancel the appointment the day before stating they do not service the island at this time. Fast forward 10 months, Reliable Power systems contacts me with an email announcing that they NOW service the barrier island and would love to set up a sales visit. We revisit the conversation that the house is on a barrier island that requires a ferry ride... yeah, yeah we know we service and install on the island now, not a problem. We set up the appointment, they confirm the appointment two days out by email and then they call 30 minutes prior to our confirmed appointment time stating they have no way of getting to the island and that they will not be able to make the appointment or handle the installation. The good news, we didn't get stuck with a generator that couldn't get serviced by this unreliable company. I would strongly caution anyone on using them. Reliable Power Systems is anything but reliable.
