Especially when it comes to glassware (wine glasses, rocks glasses, decanters), TR has tons of quality options from various price points. Plus $10 for engraving, it's a super affordable, thoughtful gift for anyone - and especially newly married friends. They even had an area of free items with engraving. Crazy! The man doing the engraving was hilarious and so helpful. The woman (ponytail and glasses) who was taking care of customers including myself couldn't have been more helpful. I wish I'd gotten their names... This is a great place and perfect for gifts any time of the year!

There was a bunch of staff working and we were immediately approached by one of their employees. He was trying to be helpful, but he did not have the people skills needed for sales. We had to ask several times on the engraving process once we found the items we wanted. He just did not explain things clearly. They have great keepsake items that can be personalized which is a bit pricey, but people seem to like the gift items. I think I will just go to another Things Remembered next time though.

The proprietor and employees are beyond helpful and friendly. And their products are spectacular. When you walk in, you're greeted with a phenomenal aroma. My wife bought a car fragrance of a different scent that we both loved so much, I had to go back an hour later and buy a house spray of that one, too. All in all, this is a great local shop and I will definitely be coming back!! Wholesome locally owned shop that makes Friendswood a great place to live!

2nd visit to try the traditional "tea room" meal as we ordered off the brunch menu last time…read more This time I ordered the Sampler Sandwich Trio: Three tea sandwiches filled with chicken salad, pimento cheese & egg salad, served on fresh baked Hawaiian bread. I was disappointed. The bread was not fresh. The egg and the pimento salads were runny and bland. It's served with chips which is not traditional for a tea room. I had a cup of potato soup which I also found bland. The chicken salad was perfection! Definitely would order that again. Split an order of the chicken spaghetti which was the day's lunch special. It was just cheese and noodles as I didn't see much chicken it. It's was bland. I like more seasoning in my food. This was more along the lines of bland hospital food. There coconut peach iced tea still a fav and I ll continue to order it. The peanut butter pie, while I was glad I tried it, I probably would not order again. Very heavy. Very rich. Very sweet. Sadly no photos this time.

Sarah's Sweets and Flower Shoppe has a vast variety of baked goods and treats; cake, cookies, cupcakes, truffles, rice crispy treats, giant pretzels, dipped pretzel sticks, cupcakes, dipped marshmallow treats, brownies and yes, they have homemade Dubai chocolate. What's in the display cases are whatever is available during the day. They do not serve pie or tarts, though. No coffee either. Prices for their menu items are decent. They don't carve cakes, but you can still have them customized. I heard Sarah's prepares great flower bouquets and candy baskets. This is NOT a cafe, so the only savory item they have is grilled cheese, with choice of chips or soda. Sarah's Sweets is not a dine-in bakery. This is to-go and pickup only. They sell stuffed animals and character toys too. Minor notes: Their location is difficult to find. They are located in a small strip, next to a busy highway. The owner's English wasn't very good, so she ended up giving me some of the wrong cookies. I didn't know that until I arrived home, because she goes to the back and packs them out of prying eyes.

In December, I called and was told my balance was around $42, so today I went to pick up my cash, because they won't mail checks for less than $50, and guess what? Not only was I told my balance was only $27, but they didn't have enough cash to pay me. So I could either wait for a check for the entire amount or take $20 and drive back again from Galveston for the other $7. What reputable business in Webster would not have $27.

The racks of clothes are sorted by size which was nice and they were having sales. (Pink and yellow tags were like 60% off). They are a bit pricier than goodwill or Once Upon A Child but the clothes are clean and the sales are great!
