My 6yo daughter has a tiny face and during this pandemic i've needed smaller masks for her which have proven rather difficult to find. Lary's came to the rescue after seeing a local post i'd made desperately searching for one. The owner was so sweet and went above and beyond! After asking me what my daughter likes, she ordered more masks in patterns befitting of a girly girl who loves rainbows and unicorns...the store even messaged me when they arrived. FAB customer service and so refreshening to experience having come from Los Angeles. I have one happy kiddo now! My good friend died unexpectedly a few weeks ago and I wanted something special for her. I ordered a huge standing spray of pink roses for her Memorial service from Lary's. It was gorgeous. The flowers were beautiful and fresh. It arrived on time. I know my friend was looking down from Heaven smiling. Lary's does beautiful and creative work. I've lived in Friendswood over 20 years and have never had any problems working with Stacey or any of her teammates. Looking at the bad reviews that were all posted within hours of each other makes me think there was a concerted effort to bully Stacey and her team. Make absolutely sure you are going to get what you are ordering and that the flowers you receive will not be one day from dead! Understand that once you pay you are not guaranteed any customer service. If you have an issue it is all your fault. When I saw tons of 5 star reviews I thought this will be great. As I reread and see what happened with the one and two star reviews I get it. It's all about someone's mood on a given day and whether the customer is a regular or new. Don't be new! They coordinated with ALL the vendors from the very beginning. Y'all-this is huge as there are a million moving parts to a successful wedding!! Needless to say, after an entire year of planning we just hosted the wedding of my daughter's dreams!!! It was fabulous from beginning to end. The entire day was magical!! If I could give this florist A zero rating, I would do so. Yesterday I placed an order for an extremely pricey arrangement. Checking in with them earlier today there weren't any issues. Upon arriving to pick up my order I was stunned to find a totally different arrangement altogether. It wasn't even close to what was pictured on their website. Some of the specifics were there. The vase wasn't what was pictures, The arrangement was very plain. Some of the flowers weren't prime as well. I felt like I was completely let down. Lastly, the cost of this arrangement was $245.00 for 1 custom flower arrangement. It looked like something from a super market for around $60.00 I was told this was the best they could do. My husband and I got married in February and we never thought twice about using Lary's to coordinate every detail! From invitations and save the dates to flowers and decor, Stacy and her staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. The morning of our wedding, the Lary's team loaded up the caravan and headed to the venue in Austin, Texas. After an entire day of install, they still managed to coordinate the day of details of a 400 person wedding with ease. I called this florist to order 2 funeral sprays and several corsages and boutinierres for a funeral on Dec 22nd. I ordered the sprays based on an image from their website. They had no examples of the corsages and boutinierres on the website, but I went ahead and ordered anyway because this place has been in Friendswood for quite some time and they assured me the order would be beautiful for my grandmother's funeral. The sprays appeared unfinished at the bottom as they randomly chose to use a totally different flower at the bottom that did not match the rest of the spray. It looked like they ran out of flowers or tried to stretch them. I was even able to see the green floral foam in some areas. They charged 35 dollars each for corsages that literally included one carnation, one leaf, and one ribbon. This is NOT an over exaggeration in any way. When I complained they tried to add an extra leaf or so to compensate. However, the most disappointing thing of all is that the owner came in, was surely made aware of the issues, and never addressed me at all. I spent over 1300 dollars and I feel that is worth the owner saying something. I won't elaborate on why I feel that happened, but I have my suspicions. I cant tell you how they are still in business with that level of customer service, but I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. There are many more capable florist in the area that are also much more professional. Extremely disappointed. A pretty store is NOT all you need. You cant judge a book by its cover Larys Floral. That applies to your store and the customers that walk in it. read more
