Today though, the business owner went above and beyond to say the least. I called to place an order for delivery, which was available to go out the following day. When the owner learned that actually today was my Mom's birthday, he said that he would go back to the flower store and make an arrangement and get it out for delivery that very day. This was all without me asking or implying that I would prefer the delivery done sooner. Within a few hours my Mom called me to say that she had received a beautiful and bountiful arrangement of flowers. I could hear so much joy and happiness in her voice that she had her flowers on her special day. So to the business owner, thank you for not just making today's delivery so very special (and alleviating my guilt for not calling and ordering sooner), but also for years of providing beautiful arrangements to my Mom while I have been too far away to deliver them myself.

I called this place on a weekday -- mid-morning -- and asked the owner "Can you do miracles?" The thing is, my wife needed a pick-me-up after several weeks of working her tail off at her job and taking care of her family. I told the florist that the bouquet was her choice and to please brighten my wife's week. (I did mention that I don't care for baby's breath or status.) Mission accomplished. Beautiful bouquet. Sarah's Sweets and Flower Shoppe has a vast variety of baked goods and treats; cake, cookies, cupcakes, truffles, rice crispy treats, giant pretzels, dipped pretzel sticks, cupcakes, dipped marshmallow treats, brownies and yes, they have homemade Dubai chocolate. What's in the display cases are whatever is available during the day. They do not serve pie or tarts, though. No coffee either. Prices for their menu items are decent. They don't carve cakes, but you can still have them customized. I heard Sarah's prepares great flower bouquets and candy baskets. This is NOT a cafe, so the only savory item they have is grilled cheese, with choice of chips or soda. Sarah's Sweets is not a dine-in bakery. This is to-go and pickup only. They sell stuffed animals and character toys too. Minor notes: Their location is difficult to find. They are located in a small strip, next to a busy highway. The owner's English wasn't very good, so she ended up giving me some of the wrong cookies. I didn't know that until I arrived home, because she goes to the back and packs them out of prying eyes.

I ordered the Standard size Polka Dots and Poises (1st Picture). They delivered Picture 2. I called and said that isn't at all like the picture, barely any roses and not the height in the picture on their website. I said I liked the roses and daisies, that is why I bought that item. Farah told me roses are expensive. Basically saying she can't put all those roses in the flowers. Then she said she would have charged me a higher amount. They advertise one price and then want to raise it even more because they refuse to honor their website price??? They made another delivery Picture 3. Still NOT like the picture. I'm tired of florists advertising and not delivering what you order.
