Came here to take photos for a project I'm working on. The attendant was very nice for allowing me to do so. This place is 24 hours, has WiFi and from what I saw the prices were reasonable and this laundromat is clean as I sat on the floor for a few shots. I got to the wash house at 8 30pm ( one hour before the last wash) the young lady sitting out side the door reading a book told me that she had just cleaned all washers and the last was was 930. I told her it was only 830 she told me she could go and look for a washer that she had not cleaned. I told her dont bother and I came across the street to the spin cycle coin laundry. I frickin LOVE this laundromat! For those who hate having to go to places like this, trust me... I completely understand. A lot of them are dirty, have unavailable washers or dryers and are just a headache to have to patronize. But Tropical Breeze though... wow. I was introduced to this little gem when I expressed frustration about a coin laundry on the next street over. Another patron told me about Tropical Breeze, so I checked it out. It's located in the same strip mall as the Dollar General, on the right-hand corner. There isn't really anything NOT to like about this place: Free wifi, 1/2 price washes between midnight and 6am, tvs, and my favorite... a $5 customer appreciation credit after a total of $50 has been loaded on your card! Btw, you load your card with cash so you don't have to schlub around rolls of quarters. Another bonus, there is always an attendant on duty. The attendants that I've been in contact with have always been helpful and friendly, and are always wiping down the machines. Speaking of machines, there are PLENTY of machines available at any one time, and the washers are supposedly high efficiency so they wash pretty quickly. The dryers are heavy duty too, so I've personally found my drying time to be reduced. So yeah, that about sums it up! I'd be hard pressed to find a place as good as this one! read more

The units here are run down. I got bleach spots on my clothes because the washer doesn't rise properly. Over all it's cheap but has a layer of hebejeebees all over it. Wear gloves. read more

I hate doing laundry. I'll wear the same damn drawers for a week, skid marks and all, to put it off. That being said, this place is on my top list of get ups to visit in ATL second only to the clairmont lounge. The friendly, entertaining staff, and ample snack selection make waiting for the laundry almost bearable. Marquelle, the attendant on-duty, was dressed to the nines, in a lovely three-piece lavender ensemble. He showed me the ropes and gave explicit, easy-to-follow instructions regarding the washing machines... in song. He followed this by singing not one, but three r&b ballads, as I treated myself to a delicious bag of bacon cheddar Bugles. Full voice, and with a lot of heart and soul. I may have cried. It made me forget about the fact that the table I rested my elbows on was covered in an unidentifiable, red, sticky substance. read more

Update: Back again, still wishing for a blast of cold AC but so impressed by polite, helpful staff. The lady in charge, Miss Sheila, goes out of her way to be helpful. Five stars for a laundromat? Really? Yes because the place was clean, the staff helpful and polite, there were plenty of machines available, and all in all it wasn't a bad experience. While my own washing machine is broken, this place is a reasonable solution that I wouldn't have even known was there if I hadn't used Yelp. The room could use a big blast of air conditioning; don't hold your breath waiting for the promised "tropical breeze" to come along. But, hey, there's a massage chair and Gilligans Island. read more

Awesome 24 hr laundromat. Went in and there was an attendant cleaning the filters, machines, bathroom, and sweeping. Its next to Popeyes which is a bonus. Machine prices are fairly decent and hold about 1 1/2 loads for the smallest machines. They also have a laundry card that you can just add money to. read more

Dangerous place to do laundry. A black women threw all my laundry on the floor when i went outside for no apparent reason. I did not feel safe in this place. It was dirty too. read more

I love that they have so many machines. They keep this place CLEAN. And staff is always available if u need help with anything. I recommend this place 100%. Let me just say this first...Tropical Breeze Laundromat HAS HOT WATER!!!! The new nasty norm in laundromats is cold and or recycled water which is beyond nasty!! This place is in the cut and you can't see it from the street but it is definitely worth finding!! They are across from a popular wash house with brand new machines but they use recycled cold water which is a no no especially during covid!! The nice ladies that manage Tropical Breeze came and assisted us from beginning to end and were extremely helpful!! Just kind!! I was beyond impressed with Big Bertha which is their largest machine. It holds all of your clothes and sheets heck even comforters!! Listen, no the machines aren't new, but they are heavy duty and get your clothes CLEAN!!!! They have this place spotless too!! The place is disinfected often!! These machines do not cost much either!! I don't live in Ga. anymore but I made a point to return before my departure so my clothes would be nice and clean in my luggage. This is my fav laundromat and the lovely ladies that work here are gems!!! I hope they are recognized often for their A+ customer service!!! It's a really sketchy area. I liked the midnight madness half off on machines from 12 am to 6 am but last time I went, a man shot his gun in the parking lot to threaten or scare someone while I was putting my baskets back in my car. Scared the hell out of me, never going back. read more

This laundromat is efficiently run and useful to the community it serves. From 12 AM to 6 AM, they offer half-priced washes and 35 cents towards the cost of drying for every one dollar spent washing. The bathrooms are clean. 95% of the machines work. They place interesting Black shows on the TV. I highly recommend washing your clothes here if you're looking for a smoothly run and affordable laundromat. read more

I'm giving five stars for the two gentlemen that helped me. Not sure if they both worked here but they were very helpful. This was my first experience with a laundromat, so I had no expectations. After fumbling with the machine. Then Trying to figure out how to use the dryer. I mean Who knew that laundromats don't accept coins anymore. They use a reloadable card that you insert into the machines. Cost less than $3 for me to dry two medium loads of clothes for 20 mins. Also the place was clean, had a television and wait for it....a massage chair. read more

Today I met Ms.Sheila, a very nice lady who operates this fine facility. She was so kind and funny. She helped me navigate how to use the machines and pay (it was my first time). This laundromat is so clean! Ms.Shelia takes great pride and care into making sure the machine are clean for every use. I will definitely be coming here again. I had to find a laundromat to wash my comforter after my dog had some "stomach trouble." Tropical Breeze was clean with plenty of open machines. The attendant was very friendly and helpful and walked me through the whole process, even putting my comforter in the dryer while I ran an errand. I have wash my clothes tonight 11/06/18 and my clothes didn't even get wash all the way some of my clothes was still dry the washer didn't wet up all my clothes so I have told this old basterd that work here at nite about the washer and he had a big ass attitude he have been rude to me all thru the nite and starting cussing and talking shit he have got so mad cause he had to restart my washer cause all my clothes wasn't wet when it was being wash I am never coming over here again read more
