I forgot to order them one year, remembered at the last minute, and he came through splendidly. I get personal service, Dewey always points me to new designs, and I don't feel nickle and dimed like I do with some engravers. If I ran a big youth sports club, I would give him my business in a heartbeat. But I will just have to settle for my annual tournament trophies and random teacher and coach gifts. Thanks Dewey! Day & Nite really came through for my family in a time of need…read more Our family recenty lost its patriarch (he was 102 years old...and leaves behind an incredible legacy)....so it had been a sad time for the family. We had to turn around and quickly plan the services due to our family being quite large(over 100 immediate members); We essentially had about a week and a half to finalize and get everything ready. That being said, we needed to print programs ASAP...once we finalized it. Once the programs were done(we had to finalize passages, names, order of services, picture, etc. - so it took about a week to complete), we could not get in touch with some of the printers we had used in the past (much further away), and when we took it to Staples, we were quited over a GRAND for the small job we needed. Suffice it to say, we were in crisis mode...we needed the printing completed, folded, and set up by the next day. ...enter Day & Nite. Another family member used them previously, so we got in touch. Edwin & Yamit (the owner) were really amazing; they were very accommodating and patient. They were already close to closing at the end of the day on Friday. The program project was not formatted in a way that they could print it, so they worked patiently with us until it was correct and ready to go, well past the time they needed to do for a customer. They were going to be closed on Saturday, but they knew we needed the programs completed before Sunday, so they stayed later to complete and finish the job. They printed, scored, and did everything we needed. Overall, the print job was good and done quickly, and really alleviated the stress everyone was under...it was just one less thing to worry about. The owner of Prosys Laser Engraving is named David and he was one of the very first to respond. He's a consummate professional, was very quick to respond to my request for a quote, and patiently answered all of my questions. Prosys Laser Engraving provided, by far, the best quote in terms of pricing and turnaround time: a $35.00 setup fee and $0.50 per engraving with one business day to complete my order. SUCH a great deal! I'm actually not entirely sure how he keeps the lights on with such rock-bottom prices. All the other engravers quoted me at a minimum of $2.00 per item, sometimes with setup fee, which was not a great deal for the larger quantity that I was looking to get engraved. I drove over to Prosys Laser Technology with a couple of samples of both the pocket knife and keychain with me, and David gave me a personal tour of the facility. They have top of the line CO2 and fiber engraving machines that engrave on metal, leather, ceramic, crystal, and acrylic. They also have a CNC router that can make custom wooden signs among other projects, as well as a full color printer that prints on cylinder bottles. Side note! I also got custom printed logos of my family member's mountain bike team on about 20 bottles for them, which turned our decent. David finished engraving the knife and keychain samples for me on the same day; the quality of the engravings were very crisp and turned out great. I completed the order of the remaining pocket knives with him and am very satisfied with his work. Prosys has a fast turnaround time, fantastic prices, and an incredible selection of different kinds of custom items you can get engraved and customized. I enjoy supporting small businesses in my area just like his. I'm very thankful for his great work on this project and look forward to working with him on future engraving projects! (:
