Went on a date here... - The ambiance gives modern, classy, chill and laidback. Came on a Thursday and wasn't many people there. - The bartender was super nice and chill. Made my picky dates very specific drink to perfection. - I only wish they had more food selections:/ but we ended up eating at tipsy putt next door. I would probably come here again with a lil youfeelme of my own

Nice to have a local bar that has good drinks and nice ambiance. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Come check out this speakeasy

The speakeasy is located inside of Tipsy Putt. The aesthetics and ambiance of this speakeasy were super trendy and intimate. It was a contrast from the lively Tipsy Putt environment. Our server was fun and friendly. He recommended that we check out both of the bathroom decor, which I did, and it was pretty cool! The cocktails were very well made! The bartender was skilled and took time mixing the drinks. You could taste the quality, spices, and alcohol. I liked how detailed the cocktail menu was.

This place a great place to catch a good cocktail to begin or end your night. They have a great selection of quality cocktails to fit anyone's preference. I had a cognac side car 5 stars and my date had Rosemary vodka mule that she definitely enjoyed. They also have food menu - we didn't trybut looked appetizing. Also the service was excellent. Definitely coming back here

Fabulous cabaret-type show with performer Arianna. She's a true (veri) Italian from Milan who sang, danced and explained Italian culture as part of the entertainment. She has an amazing voice! She could have been a finalist at the San Remo Music Festival - the most famous singing festival in Italy. She fessed up saying she had been an Italian Mouseketeer! The venue has a bar/lounge to enjoy cocktails then a few steps down further is the theater. You need to be mobile since there are a lot of steps. Seating is first come-first serve. I have to admit that seating is quite tight. You are shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. Get cozy folks. They typically have magic shows here! If you want to see a historic night club, this would be the venue to come to and enjoy a show. Italiani Veri show was a real treat! Highly recommend it!

Recently tried to go to Elements…read moreonly to discover it was closed or at least closed to additional patrons 45 minutes before closing so made our way to a couple other bars instead, including Blind Pig. It takes a lot for me to consider a return visit to a cocktail bar. Most of the time, I just begrudgingly go along with my friends to a mediocre bar, but Blind Pig is a place I would enthusiastically return to again and again. I first got the namesake cocktail: Blind Pig. It was incredibly well-balanced, and the flame presentation upon arrival was an epic mini show. Later during last call, I decided to risk it all and roll the dice to order from the secret menu. I rolled a 5, which got me a wine & Japanese beer concoction with Sichuan peppercorn. Totally feel like this cocktail was made for me, as I rep the 川渝 region. The drink was strong, but that made it all the better. Can't wait to come again and explore more of the menu behind the password-protected iykyk entrance.

I'm personally over (and too old) dealing with sloppy drunks spilling drinks on you, getting pushed around in a crowd or end up in a middle of a brawl Blind Pig is that perfect spot, well at least on a weeknight: chill, low-key, and moody. And, most importantly comfy seating AND solid AZN inspired craft cocktails ($18-$19). Cocktails with black sesame, taro, pandan, mapo tofu, tea, and hot pot flavors? YAS! D R I N K S * Hot & Sour: Tanqueray Gin w/ Iichiko shochu, aloe, rose, hot pot paste, basil, citrus, peychaud's ($18 x2) The sichuan hot pot inspired cocktail was silky smooth from the milk-washed gin, nicely balanced - sweet (but not too sweet) and sour with a subtle málà numbing spice. Stiff yet easy to drink. The manager/bartender, Leo was awesome with great hospitality. Background lounge-y music is not too loud so you can yap and catch-up with friends. Overall, Blind Pig is a great place to unwind after work or start the night off. If it's too tamed for you, you can always go next door to XEX to make bad decisions - no judgement cuz we've all been there! ;) O T H E R I N F O * Walk-in only. PW to enter is on IG. * Blind Pig originally opened in Chinatown in a larger space but they're now in a more intimate space on Polk. * Blind Pig is under Mins Group (Sushi Sato, Sushi Hon, The Roll, The Buoy, Dento Piano Cafe, Dragon Horse, and more.) * No snacks/food but plenty of food options within walking distance.

We show up on a Friday w no reservation, was told at the door there was no availability. We walk twenty feet away, checked OpenTable and *every* time slot for the evening was available so we booked one immediately . Walked back to the doorman who didn't accept this or like this. He was obviously annoyed about being visibly called out. Eventually he went in and talked at length to the host (minutes) . He came out and said there no tables ready and (begrudgingly) offered we could stand outside for ten minutes in the sketchy street. Not even the lobby. Could be totally as advertised and I can give him the benefit of the doubt that he was (initially) just misinformed as to the restaurant status, but It felt very deliberate and off-putting so we left.

My wife and I had the occasion to stop by The Speakeasy a few days ago. We were just looking to…read morehave kind of hors d'oeuvres and a cocktail and just hang out together, because we found ourselves with a rare four-hour window where the kids were occupied and we could just do whatever we wanted. This was a nice way to spend a few hours. The space is neat. It's as small, somewhat dark ambiance with the windows blacked out. So, you do loose your sense of time a bit inside. That's actually nice as it feels like you went somewhere/somewhen else for a while. We had a Manhattan and a Kentucky Mule, and, additionally, we had three different shareable appetizers. First thought, we ordered and devoured a really exceptional cheese plate. I know cheese plates seem a little meh sometimes, but this was really good! I would absolutely order it again. In fact, I would definitely go there just to have the cheese plate again with a drink, a glass of wine. We also had the three tacos shareable. There were three tacos that were stunningly good. Lastly a dish with some little steak medallions and a shrimp. Each of these was about two bites and the flavor and texture was excellent. All three of the shareables and the drinks were exceptional. I have to call out that, with the cheese board, came a little loaf of bread. That bread was really good all on its own. I would definitely want to eat it. I can still taste it. It was really good, but my wife, she's gluten intolerant. They offered, because she couldn't eat the bread, they offered to also bring her out some gluten-free crackers, so she got to enjoy the cheese board just the same without the bread. They gave her the crackers, and do you know, they just gave her those extra. They didn't ask for something more. They didn't do anything. They just took care of her. I really appreciate that. I have to also give a shout out to the Jessica. I don't know how she did it, but she was taking care of the whole room of tables I think. Nice. We ordred all three shareables at the same time and she thoughtfully said, 'do you mind if I course these out for you?' We said yes and she did. I don't think anybody felt like they didn't have everything they needed, so a shout out to you, Jessica, really well done. We're grateful for the service and the high quality dining experience that you gave us on a moment's notice. I hope we can visit again soon. And, especially we want to check out The Boardroom soon. NOTE: This is in a kind of older looking strip mall. Don't be concerned about that at all! It threw us off a little at first and we did wonder when we pulled in though if we were in the right place. Happily, we were!

Attached to The Boardroom restaurant, The Speakeasy is a real find featuring a wonderfully robust appetizer menu, a full bar, and a daily happy hour menu that applies mostly to alcohol purchases. If you're looking for wine here, the bar offers a variety, with the house wines - excellently priced at $8-$9/glass - comprised fully of Rutherford grown grapes. Somebody here knows what's up. A friend who'd talked up The Speakeasy for years is besotted by the Marsala Sautéed Chicken Livers ($11) on the bar menu. Not ever a fan of liver, I avoided sampling his until we'd collectively polished off an order of Baked Goat Cheese ($10) and a trio of Pulled Pork Tacos ($13). He'd grown full and much liver remained which is when I learned that I do like chicken liver. Or rather, I like chicken liver as prepared at The Speakeasy. All of the above pretty much had me fan-girling out over this place but then this happened: We were done, requested our check, and were told that someone that evening had picked up the tab for the entire bar, something I've not experienced in my lifetime. I already liked The Speakeasy a whole lot before learning my food and drink were free of charge. Like changed to rabid fandom when this occurred. I know that I can't expect a full repeat of this experience but even if it's just chicken livers and Cabernet, that'll be enough.
