We scheduled two personal sessions with the owners, my wife scheduled with Lizzie and I scheduled mine with Shane. My wife and I workout 4-5 a week and thought we worked out hard. The sessions with Lizzie and Shane exceeded our expectations. They are both extremely knowledgeable and motivating. They are both the most sincere and genuine people we have ever met. We will definitely schedule workouts every time we visit El Paso from Las Vegas.

The environment is welcoming and all of the equipment you need is there for just about any training style. I appreciate the touch of the working stations were you can throw up your laptop if you needed to or jump on a call without awkwardly standing around on the gym floor. This reminds me of the dedicated coworking spaces Lifetime Fitness has at my home gym and it's a touch I wish more gyms had. The cardio and weight areas is pretty large and they have their free weight section divided off as well to the right of the front entrance. For those who are powerlifters or body builders, they have a access only workout space and that's the first I've seen. Workout equipment is a mix of older pieces; however, you can tell they've been adding newer equipment into the mix which is super nice. Seems like management is taking the time to do a makeover of some sort. My only (small gripes) is that I wish they had a towel service, even if it was an added service; and the men's bathroom area has a distinct smell that wafts in the air that seems to be due to plumbing. All in all, this is a solid workout spot as I find myself in El Paso over the weekends and on holiday breaks.

I train olympic weightlifting so a commercial gym would not cut it. I called they said $20 for 3 days so I thought that was a deal. The employee went on to let me know to bring a FULL SIZE TOWEL. I was already on my way so I stopped into Walmart on Black Friday for one towel. I get there and they want you to Ly it down on any surface you sit on. I was squatting and snatching, and clean and jerking so I didn't need any bench equipment or sitting/laying down so I did not even use my towel at all. I wish they would've explained what it was for from the get go. The whole place smells like cleaning solution which is good and bad. I'm glad it's clean but inhaling the fumes from cleaning solution while working out is so toxic. I hope they consider going all natural cleaner. The owner walked around and was nice but you can tell she is very strict about all the rules. There are signs on the walls all over this gym. One read "you chalk, you walk." I train oly lifts, I pretty much bathe in chalk (I didn't bring any) but still why I've all the platforms and equipment if you can't actually comfortably train. I always clean up after myself and I understand having that standard but I was afraid of getting yelled at the whole time I was there which made me wanna hurry and leave. I bit the $20 and did not return. They have so many plates and bars and equipment but zero 15kg bars so I had to use a 20kg bar to do oly lifts. The bumper plates were off brand and incorrect color/weight coordination by a lot. The plates on the squat racks were all iron plates. The elliptical machines were old and squeaking. I could go on. I did not enjoy this gym despite all the pictures that drew me in initially. If I lived in town I would not join. I'm sorry to say because I live and breathe in gyms and gym equipment is my favorite. The lighting was so dark and music was old school rock like Motley Crue (I love Motley Crue but for working out?!) ... I wasn't digging the vibe. Im sure a lot of people thrive here, I definitely would not. I can't live in fear while I'm exercising. Im an adult avid gym goer and can be given the benefit of the doubt that I will clean after myself and care for the equipment.

I dropped in for a class (they offer a free trial and $25 drop-ins), and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The owner, John John, was awesome -- super welcoming, hands-on, and made sure everyone was moving with good form. The community vibe here is strong; everyone was friendly but focused. It's a nice looking spacious club (2 stories high) and bigger than it looks on the outside. The 1st floor had weights (machines and free weights. They also have a sauna in the women's locker room and an aqua jet massage room. The daycare is also on the 1st floor and the highest monthly plan includes childcare for 2 hours (18+months and older). The 2nd floor has cardio machines, and a room for women specifically, which was pretty cool. There were separate classrooms for yoga/Zumba, cycling, HIIT classes with rowing and stair machines, and a class for boxing with equipment. All in all it's a pretty good value for the prices. $10/mo per person for just access to the gym $44/mo per person for the highest level with classes and childcare But if you have insurance, you might be able to enroll into their Active and Fit or Silver Sneakers plan and it drops it to $25/mo per person. They're open M-Thu 5am-midnight, Friday 5am-10pm, Sat 8am-7pm, Sun 9am-7pm I'm hoping to get them to host another free trial with childcare for moms in the morning time to try them out next quarter...stay tuned!
