There's a few times where I felt like I was going to drown as my mouth was filled with water while lying down in the chair. I told her that she used a lot of water, she kind of laughed it off and did use the suction a bit more often than before but I don't think she realized how uncomfortable it was for me. I've cleaned my teeth every 6 months or so but I've never had such an uncomfortable experience. Other than that, it's great. When I arrived, they told me they couldn't treat me because the other office had already charged my insurance for X-rays and a cleaning. I explained that I already had the X-rays, but the front desk assistants were very rude, left me standing there, and started talking to each other. After waiting several minutes with no help, I left. I went to another dental office that took X-rays and told me the only solution was to extract the tooth for $450 out of pocket. I didn't feel comfortable with that because I truly didn't believe extraction was the right answer. Finally, I called my kids' dentist and they recommended Capitol Dental Group. From the moment I called to the end of my visit, I felt listened to and cared for. Everyone--from the reception staff to the assistants in the back--was kind, professional, and patient. Dr. Elizabeth and Dr. Thinh were both incredibly caring and took the time to explain everything.
