I will try to be fair and describe my experience. Quarter-kit is either hit or miss, nothing in…read morethe middle.
The Good:
1. They sell top quality products at a great price
2. When things are good, shipping is fast
3. Will send an automated email advising that your order has been filled
The Bad:
Communication: I have had orders sit for well over a week, I will check on the status, and all the website tells me is that the delivery is on hold, when I click on that entry, I get a screen that is called "observations" there is an area that has "no comments added".
When I send an email asking why and how long the delay will be, I sometimes get an answer, and other times I don't . These are questions that a customer shouldn't have to ask, when there is a delay a courtesy email would be nice.
My current order has sat for over a week waiting for an item to be in stock. When I submitted that order I added a comment asking for my order not to be held based on one or two items not being in stock, I stated that I would pay the extra postage. This comment must have been ignored, as when I asked why my order had not been sent, I was told that they were waiting for one item. I pointed out the comment that I had made and repeated my comment that I was willing to pay extra postage. I was assured the order would be sent the next day. Two days later nothing had been sent.
All along the way there have been apologies, but they feel empty, as nothing changes. There has never been an effort to show that I am a valued customer. In comparison, Raymond Chung over at Lucky Model has added a few free items. or offered some form of store credit. He apologizes, and I have never had the same experience twice.
I understand that running a shop and managing an online business can be hectic and frustrating. However as a customer I deserve the courtesy of being advised. If I am told ahead of time, I can pretty much roll with anything.
That is my experience with Quarter Kit in Paris, France.
