Most 300 level were in small classrooms. The north campus building are very odd looking. I was told by a UB staff that this was done purposely. I have visited a handful of other SUNY colleges and UB is by far the biggest and nicest. D1 football here. HORNS UP. Besides the university, Buffalo is a great city to live in. It is considered a large city but is small for being a large city. There are a ton of things to do year round. Amazing food options. Bills and Sabres. If you are interested in the SUNY system, would prefer a large campus and has the major you are wanting I would highly recommend applying to UB.

Recently, I was here twice once for a celebration of milestone. One of the university areas reached, which was held in an outside space that was really quite lovely. The food serve was good. The space was easy to navigate was all nice. The acoustic system left a little bit to be desired but other than that they did a great job. Unless you're coming at night, parking here can be very challenging. Be sure to read the signs or you will get a ticket of some sort.

The board is wrong to engage in the devil-cult activities in the main offices on Wednesday nights at 10pm. And the local police are wrong to park all their damn vehicles here and give innocent people like me the willies every time we speed, I mean, drive past this campus. Luckily in truth, it's Erie, rather than Errant. It's a lovely modern campus with fantastic, lush soccer fields, located in one of the richest suburbs in the region. It's a much more boring campus than the haunting, impressive campus downtown. When my significant other (at the time) took classes here, I spent a lot of time here too. I even took a class with her myself, partly to not be bored, and partly because I found it interesting. The prices were so shockingly cheap (for American education standards) that it was heart-warmingly affordable. Education should be free, but ECC is close enough to free (depending on what you do) that most people can afford to do something here if they work at the same time. All of the professors I've had the pleasure of meeting, sitting in with, or taking a class under (4 or 5 of them total from all categories) have been very pleasant and interesting. This is very important at any education facility.

I had one who wasn't sure what he was doing but was still helpful. My accounting professor was nothing short of amazing. No star for bathrooms and staying up to date. Very old amenities throughout the buildings and the bathrooms are too out dated. It's a bad time. Plus one star for administration. Always answer the phone, always answer on IM, the online BlackBoard website is nice and has an app. Plus one star for Library. Friendly staff. All new windows 8 computers and always some available. Unfortunately the hours on weekends and summers are very bad. When you're trying to actually learn this can be a great resource and it's terrible it isn't open more often. Minus one star for cutting back from late night courses. I had to arrange to leave work early to be there for the 5pm classes. Barely any are offered after 5pm which is a huge detriment to people looking for an education while working in a real job. Also, computer science doesn't qualify as a science elective?? Is this not the 21st century, it is one of the most important sciences. Many of my professors had worked or still worked at Niagara University, Canisius, and other great schools and have many accomplishments. ECC is a good school but they aren't working hard enough at assisting adults in receiving their education. We can't be at school all day. We need more night courses and better library hours.

They offer online classes, in person classes and hybrid classes which combine online and in person. This is a small campus with approximately 1000 students. You really get to know your classmates. Being old enough to be my classmates' mothers, I was a bit nervous at how I would fit in for group projects, etc. It was needless worry-I was made to feel like I was no different. Great, kind students that I stay in touch with! I attended college full time, mostly at night, while working full time. Sometimes I could not take a required course due to the time it was offered. Hilbert worked with me and my schedule to ensure I graduated on time. I can't say enough about the accounting department professors. There were some bumps in the road, like online professors using lectures they recorded 5-10 years prior. This happened with several professors, so they did not discuss current events, but referenced things that happened when most of the students were ages 10-12. The same online professors also did not update the links they provided in their PowerPoint presentations causing me much frustration. I expect more for the money I was paying to take each class. This is the main reason for not granting the fifth star. All in all, Hilbert provided me and my daughter with an excellent education and I highly recommend it.

Surprisingly, this place didn't exist on Yelp yet. We are gonna have to change that. Get these young students Yelping lol. So I can't really speak about the University, as it was dead, nobody around, and I was driving and taking photos from my car like a creeper. But what I can say is: the photos don't do this place justice! It was absolutely gorgeous! Like something out of a fairytale book with its green trees and old brick buildings etc. It is a decent sized campus too, and I didn't even explore the entire thing! I'll be sure to add more photos as I start working there. But this place, for now anyways, in the summer, is gorgeous! I absolutely love it and it has a "charm" to it, that definitely worked on me. I'm excited to start working here. At least, during the summers anyways. My office will be in Alumni Hall, running the ROTC program. So come on by and say hi... and oh yea, join the Army. We'll take good care of you.

Out of all the colleges I inquired about Bryant and Stratton was on top of everything within seconds of me filling out the online information survey I had gotten a phone call from an admissions rep. I was thrilled at the dedication of the staff. No other College called me back . I came in very nervous knowing I would need to try and figure out how to juggle school and family life with 4 Kids, not to mention a student loan. The admissions staff helped guided me through the decision of going back to school they helped explain financial aid, courses and what I could do if it became to be too much. It is wonderful that the class sizes in the school are very small. This gives you the ability to get more one-on-one attention from your instructor. At the school you are not just a number your student where staff remember is your name. The resources the school has is also wonderful the entire School strives for every person to get the help they need in order to pass each class and get through the semesters. I definitely made the right choice and could not be happier going to school here. I would recommend this school for anyone who wants a smaller classroom size and a better relationship with all staff. I hope to graduate August 2018 wish me luck!

However, this has not directly impacted students as of yet. Approved classes being offered are dwindling, but each department has their strengths and weaknesses. I had no issue getting courses to complete my Communication and Business degree due to some finagling with my department chairs. If I did not have that relationship, I would not have been able to fulfill both my degree paths. In addition, I was a transfer student, and it was not completely explained to me that I would have to take 2 religion, and 2 philosophy courses on top of fulfilling all of the capstones. That information should be communicated far better than it was, as I am still writhing because that cost me an additional $20K. I guess that is why the gentleman that put my transfer package together is no longer with Canisius. Overall, most of my professors were stellar; specifically Dr. Dahlberg, Dr. Braunscheidel, and Dr, Haselswerdt. As well, I loved all of my courses with Prof. Nancy Lynch, Prof. Rick English, and Dr. Foster. Having those amazing educators/professors on staff saved me from transferring again after an initial disappointing semester with a few adjuncts and tenured staff. I can only speak with ethos to the Communication, Business & Political Science Department, but if you are thinking of attending Canisius in one of those concentrations, do it. As well, the Athletic teams are stellar. I even did crew for a bit, but found I did not have the time to dedicate to it. So, if you are thinking of attending Canisius for athletics. Definitely do as well. As well, take Business Ethics PHI242 (it fulfills a business & philosophy requirement, but also the ethics attribute) with Dr. Sean Donaghue-Johnston (he is an adjunct, but let me tell you, and amazing one). He's absolutely fantastic, you'll learn a lot, and expand your mind a bit, which never actually hurts :) I've taken one star off for the transfer process, and the $ issues, but feel I received a stellar education due to the folks I mentioned above. Go Griffs!!
