Went to the 2 hour Winter Solstice celebration Chakra Yoga event here last night. It was fantastic!…read more First off parking kinda stinks. I arrived a little late ( my fault) so I drove around for quite a while to find a spot. The entrance is a bit hidden too. It's not on the Main Street. It's on the side street toward the back of the building and when you enter there are some stairs that lead you up to the studio. They were warm and welcoming when I came in and I found my friends already laid out on their mats. Room was warm. Most classes are heated. My first heated yoga class. I enjoyed it but maybe found it a bit drying especially during wintertime. Definitely bring some water. Room was peacefully lit with candle everywhere. I felt a sense of peace as soon as I walked in. Nicole and Georgia ran the event. They were both sweet and kind and had such soothing voices as they led us through the class. Also very helpful to come around and help you out with any moves you may have trouble with. Hannah and Heather were lightly singing and playing musical instruments in the background. Beautiful voices! Classes typically run for an hour and 15 minutes and it's 15 bucks. You can also get class packs in tens, twenty, etc that lower the price for each class. Events like the one I went to are a bit more. I really enjoyed this event and will definitely come back to enjoy some regular yoga classes. Was so relaxed. Went home and slept like a baby!!

I have been going to this Yoga Studio from sometime now but couldn't make time to write a review…read moreuntil today cause these girls highly deserve a good rating and a good recommendation! The owner Nichol is specially a lovely, kind and helpful lady. I had a couple of classes left from last 2 years from my last purchase from 2019 which I couldn't use due to covid and even when the restrictions were up , I wasn't too comfortable take physical yoga classes until recently only to realize the validity of my purchase had expired but I just made a call and Nichol reactivated the left out classes without asking a single question. I go to another yoga studio and in most studios they might do that but we also have to remember like any other service industry, the yoga business was hard hit during Covid so I wouldn't have requested to extend the validity if I would have a single sign of hesitation but Nichol couldn't be more helpful. I would also like to highly recommend the warm flow yoga classes with Nikki. I find her easier to follow specially when she introduces a new pose, she goes step by step and takes to another level and she has a reiki touch to the flow at the end of the practice which actually is very calming. However, all the trainers are very good. I have taken classes with some other trainers too and all of them are simply the master of their trades and equally good each one having an unique style. You should try them !

I have taken a few (amazing) yoga classes with Kali over the past couple months. As someone who has…read moretried out at least a dozen (plus) studios in and around the Boston area over the past 3 years, I must say she is in the top 10% of instructors I've experienced. You can immediately tell she has a deep understanding of the human body and how to SAFELY build strength, flexibility and release tension through movement and breath. Her classes are creative and diverse which is extremely important to me since I usually practice 4 times a week. She has the ability to create classes that challenge both seasoned practitioners AND beginners which is not an easy thing to do. Thanks Kali! I hope I get the privilege to take more classes with you very soon.

I've been working with Kali since August 2015. I was going through a very tough time in my…read morerelationship and decided that I needed outside help. I saw Kali once a week for life coaching for at least a month or two and then about twice a month. I've never met someone so genuinely caring and who could give me the outside perspective I needed. As I continued seeing her we began incorporating yoga practices into my sessions to help relieve stress from my life. I then began doing some private yoga sessions to help with my form and increasing my knowledge on specific poses. She was always so patient, gave me life changing advice, and always made me feel so important. I'm so blessed to have met Kali and to have her as a life coach, yoga instructor and to be introduced to Reiki!

Hot yoga on Wednesday's with Jordan are fantastic! I always leave relax and centered after taking a…read moreclass with him. I have never taken a class here with anyone else and I've never been in a crowded class so I can't speak on any of that. I used to go a lot a few years ago and came back for the first time during my winter break from college. That class made me wish I was going to a college closer to Wellesley so I could pick up my Wednesday routine again. Only cons in my experience: 1 shower, no towels, and the room can get stinky because the ventilations isn't that great.

Tooooo hot. I get the theory of sweating out toxins and…read morefocusing on nothing but breathing and being present....but for 90 minutes today, I couldn't help but wonder why I was so moist as I sweated, wiped my face with a t-shirt, looked at the shirtless men next to me jealously, and sweated some more. I've recently been to a couple of heated yoga studios, and they were not as hot as this one...I'm guessing 92-94 degrees. Now, if I'm just a wimp, that's fine. Anyhow, the studio itself is a little hard to find (its entrance is really on Church St, the street behind Central), but it's spacious enough. I was underwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the girl checking me in; she didn't really welcome me and then asked if I needed anything without even telling me the general direction in which I'd find the studio, restrooms, etc. I did notice the sign advertising a cost of $1 to fill your water bottle with poland spring bubbler water, so I made my way to the bathroom and used the tap. Other fancy waters are on offer, and they rent mats, towels, and Yogitoes (which was cool). I attended Pilar's 90 minute power class, and she was good about talking us through class but spent a lot of time talking about the heat and how we should push through it....which only reminded me that my ass was sweating off and I was hopefully losing tons of water weight. We ran through a handful of sun salutations and some other standing poses and balances, and then focused on back bending and stretching- similar to the 'en vogue' power classes I've experienced at Prana Power. Not bad, but I wasn't able to focus as well as I usually can for some reason. Also noticed pilates stations(?) and a sauna on my way in. Based on my experience, I'd recommend getting here at least 10 minutes early to grab a good spot. Also worth noting we started about five minutes late, but came out about 15 minutes over...so you are definitely getting your full 90 minutes. Mehhhh.
