Ashley's DJ and Karaoke I can't say enough good things about…read moreAshley Kemp. She was the DJ at our wedding and was absolutely phenomenal. We needed special recording played during our ceremony and she did it perfectly. The reception was a perfect mix of fast paced music and slow dancing. What really impressed me was how much she cared. Our wedding was in July and she was calling me in April to make sure she had everything she needed so my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything. The owner of the venue was a pain. She was a nightmare to deal with and gave Ashley a hard time, I'll go into that in another review. Ashley was the vision of professionalism in the face of overwhelming rudeness and disrespect. She was very clear that she worked for my husband and I and if the owner didn't like it, they would have to drag her out in handcuffs lol Weddings are always stressful, but the one thing we knew was that we didn't have to worry about Ashley. She was going to do anything and everything to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted and she absolutely delivered. Her energy was unmatched. She coordinated with the photographer and videographer to help make sure I got pictures and video of everything I wanted, played every song I asked for, kept our guests engaged and on the dance floor. She even made the time to join us on the dance floor herself. At the end of the evening my husband and I were the only ones there, but she kept playing with the same energy she had all day so that we could dance alone together the way we did when he proposed. If you want a DJ that is great at her job, cares about your wedding day, or event, and has a wonderful personality, hire Ashley. Don't even talk to anyone else. She is the total package. A great DJ and a great person.

Our original wedding date was November 14. New covid restrictions went into place at 12AM on the 14th. Ann called us first thing in the morning to inform us of the information. We moved our wedding from Saturday to Friday and she helped us more than I ever imagined she would. She stayed calm too! What a relief. The day of our wedding we had a wonderful woman named Linda who made sure we were as comfortable as can be. When I think of Moulin, I think of those two fabulous women who did a phenomenal job. I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

We switched our ceremony to be inside instead of outside the morning of the wedding and he was super flexible and made it work with no problems. Will coordinated with my brother who played the saxophone during our first dance which made that moment extra special! Our dance floor was packed all night, and he did a great job of feeling out what types of songs would keep the dance floor going. He did the perfect balance of emceeing key moments but for the most part letting the music do the talking. We would recommend Porta Party DJs and Will to anyone needing a DJ for their event!

His song selection matched our vibe and tastes perfectly! He even made sure the song we wanted for our recession was included even though he said it might be difficult to do and it was PERFECT! That is a moment I personally will never forget. He was so nice and so much fun to work with and he honestly made it super easy and stress free for us. Many of our guests commented on how good he was as well. I danced the night away because of all the songs he played that I asked for and some he chose for us but they were perfect. Our friends said it was easy to make requests and it sounds like he played all the songs people requested. He even got out on the dance floor and interacted with us! Andy gave us the EXACT experience we were hoping to have when we decided to hire a DJ for our wedding and we would use him again in a heartbeat! We've also already recommended your company and Andy to others and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for matching us up with him!! He made our special day absolutely perfect musically. We appreciate him so much. It was truly unforgettable.
