Triumph Moving & Storage did a fantastic job! They worked well as a team, checked when there were questions (not everything got to move with me) and took great care of furnishings and the houses - zero damage to anything! They were pleasant, efficient, professional. I will use them again and have already recommended them to a friend! read more

Once again, another 5 star experience. Sal & Marcus were awesome. The company is communicative, on time & very reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Cheers! read more

We had a piano moved on Saturday, July 8th. Sal and Marcus were prompt and professional. The explained what they were going to do, then did it. The piano was in the room over the garage. The stairs wind at a sharp angle. They wrapped the piano with thick insulated blankets and plastic wrap to ensure its safety. Sal and marcus took their time to make sure that no walls or railings were even touch with the piano. They made the delivery to the new location with no problems. Both places were left spotless as if no one had been to either place. I will highly recommend Sal and Marcus of Triumph Moving and Storage to anyone moving a piano, or anything else for that matter. We couldn't have been more pleased. Mike K. read more

Amazing from start to finish! I have completed 19 moves in 23 years, and this was by far the most professional and careful move I have done. Sal, Kwame, and Marcus were amazing. Moved everything from a piano to a lamp shade with precision and care. Local or across the state....fantastic! read more

Sal and his team at Triumph Moving & Storage just completed our move from Virginia Beach to Spotsylvania VA, which was about 3 hours away . I had gotten several quotes and talked with many different moving companies over the course of about six months, when we were considering a move. While Triumph doesn't have the same technological process of inventory and estimates that some do, I found their personal level of customer service and communication to be refreshing, honest and straightforward, with no hidden fees or scary contracts. They were accommodating to our schedule (when we finally decided to move it had to be very quickly), and stayed in communication about pick up and delivery times. Sal, the Directory of Operations, and his team of Kwame and Marcus showed up on time, took extreme care of our belongings, wrapping literally everything that wasn't in a box, were so fast, efficient and simply amazing, finishing in half the time our last movers did. We were prepared and I'm sure that helped, but they had a super process, and were careful to point out any items they saw that already had damage so we would know before they loaded them if there were issues, so we knew it was not caused by them. The next day, when Kwame and Sal drove and delivered our belongings, they took the same amount of care and attention, yet consistent speed with ZERO breaks, and got us unloaded and situated so quickly. I can't thank them both enough, for their positive attitude, hard work, and care. Extremely professional team, so respects the needs of their customers. Google reviews SO often are BS and can be bought by businesses, so it's hard to trust, which is why I'm ALSO sharing here on Yelp - a review site I tend to trust more. I'm taking the time to write, because this was a legit great experience that others should know about. You should not hesitate to call Triumph Moving & Storage (Becky is the person you will work with in the office - be sure to be VERY thorough with your inventory, as they do need to ensure they can fit all of your belongings on their truck). read more

Triumph Moving & Storage - Movers Near Me - Norfolk, Virginia

I would give them a zero if I could. Originally talked with Becky in their office who gave me a date for moving my parents estate items. She called back with a quote and all was set. After going through many details with the estate seller, packing arrangements, dates set for sale, etc. ....Triumph called me at the last minute to tell me they were "too busy for me" and they cancelled on the move, regardless of the fact that they had already promised me the date and put it on the schedule. They had even agreed to the date personally with my estate seller as well. The havoc they created by reneging on their promise is immeasurable. Totally unprofessional to say the least. It you call them, buyer beware and GET IT IN WRITING before you commit others to their promises. read more

Sal and Marcus were phenomenal! We needed some heavy, bulky items moved from upstairs to a downstairs room. Sal and Marcus were on-time (would have been earlier had I been available), professional, friendly, and obviously knew what they were doing. No nicks, bumps, breaks, scratches, etc. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would. This should be your first call if you need something moved! Communication throughout the process was also A+ (thanks Becky!!). Thanks again!!! read more

My bf and I have rented a storage unit with this company for the past 2.5 years. They were able to help me move the things out of the apartment on such short notice when I contacted them in Jan 2016, and they were able to accommodate my request to move out the unit on such short notice as well (I was out of town and forgot to inform them about moving out of the unit and ended up telling them less than the 10-day notice they required to vacate). I've had no problems with this company! Becky is always so sweet, and she loves to talk. It's been a pleasure doing business with them. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for movers and storage. read more

I've moved too many times to count in my adult life, including cross-country and interstate moves. We recently moved from Norfolk to Williamsburg. Sal and his crew were possibly the best moving team I've ever experienced. Pricing was fair, and they were extremely careful with our items (Sal noted the lack of no-scratch felt pads on the bottom of a large desk and was concerned the wood floor could be scratched. I found some and he put them on. I can guarantee no other moving company has ever suggested something like this.) I thought it was interesting how Sal teaches his team members as they move--instructing the right way to move each item as they do it. And it's a little thing, but it drives me crazy when I have to put on dust ruffles on beds once the mattress has been placed on the bed--and most movers couldn't care less about this. Sal and his crew waited to place the mattresses after the dust ruffle-- a little thing, but one more thing that made the move easier and less stressful. A note that this wasn't an easy move. Our home here is on a steep slope, yet they handled it without a problem. Thank you, Triumph Moving--excellent job and I recommend them without reservation. read more

We had a very difficult move into a steep mountainside house in Nellysford. These guys were AMAZING! Triumph movers not only moved us with the best care from Chesapeake and into Nellysford, but they also safely stored our belongings during the gap between property purchases. I highly recommend them to anyone for even the most difficult moves. Sal runs a qualified and personable crew. Good people who take good care of your treasured belongings. read more

Triumph Moving and Storage was a pleasure to work with. It started with the great communication with their receptionist. The moving team was on time, friendly, and really careful with our belongings. They took the time to prep and wrap our couches before moving them. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone in need of a moving service. read more

on time, fast and efficient! Used to transport a gun safe from northern virginia down to newport news for a fair price free of hassle!!

I never used a mover before but due to the time contraints of my job and distance of the move (Virginia Beach to Newport News), I felt it would be worth it. Definately a great decision on my part. Sal & his team were professional and QUICK. As quick as they were, everything, from my 50in wide screen, to my washer/dryer, to my expensive dinnerware arrived in one piece. That was after they had to walk it up three flights of stairs! Very, very impressive. I would use Sal and his team everytime. They were worth every penny and more. read more

Fast and efficient. We had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone in need of a moving service.

These guys are fabulous! I highly recommend them. They are on time, friendly, pleasant, courteous and hard working! Terrific work ethic and strong attention to detail. They made extra efforts, and took extra time, to safeguard some very heavy furniture. They gave me a set price for a set time - rather than rush out when completed, they walked from room to room with me to make certain I did not need any additional adjustments. Doesn't get much better than that! read more

These guys are Fantastic!! They were friendly, professional and paid attention to detail. They were kind to my thing, not one item broken. They were quick but careful, and I got a great price plus 10% off with they're coupon in Money Clips. I would highly recommend these guys for your move. My husband and I were going to have to move to a 3 Rd floor apt alone, they saved our time and backs!! Thank you Triumph! Worth every penny!! read more

They moved a piano for us from Chesapeake VA to DC and considered this "local" so it was considerably more affordable (like a third of the cost) compared to other competitors for the job. Plus, Sal and his team were quite friendly and incredibly careful. They showed up when they said they would and were communicative in getting everything set up. I would definitely recommend them to others. read more

They were able to move me on very short notice. Very professional, and did an excellent job of making the move successful with difficult parameters. Also moved a piano expertly. Coupons are available on their website. Maybe a little bit pricey, but it was worth it to me. read more

Top drawer service. Moved our piano 4 hours round trip on short notice, at our convenience. Respectful of our home, a pleasure to work with, clean and professional. Will use them again, for sure. read more

Sal and the guy who helped him (sorry, I never learned his name) were great. They were quick, courteous and on time. Sal's 2nd guy was strong; he picked up a 200 pound television like it was nothing. I will use them again in the future and recommend them highly. read more
