My sister is 70 yrs old and they gave her a quote of 400 dollars to remove and clean up. They only took 20 pieces of wood and told her that was a load and the trailer could hold any more, it's a double axle trailer. They came back and only took a little more and then demanded the full amount my sister was told if she didn't pay that they would call the sheriff on her. Talk about BAD service, Polk Brothers/Santek Waste Services of Tunnel Hill brought two construction…read moredumpsters to the house next door that is being worked on. They destroyed my driveway and also ran over my water lines. The "manager" said it was not their problem that we needed to deal with the 'Bank' that contracted them to come out. He also said that if they had damaged my water line we would have noticed a leak already. Will all the rain we've had and the ground already wet I beg to differ! He also said he had trouble getting up my hill with his truck and when I stated I'd had no problem driving up it for years, his exact words were "then you're a better driver than I am." It's a shame we can't depend on people to FIX problems they've caused. We had the driveway box-scraped before and it was in good shape. Now that their large truck brought in the two huge dumpsters and then out filled with furniture and other items making them even heavier, our driveway is nothing but a mud pit! They also crushed the drainage tile at the road and he had the nerve to say that "the drain was stopped up already but he would send a man out with a shovel to dig out the mud." Wouldn't agree to repair the tile, just dig out the dirt from around it!!! There are 3 of us neighbors that are not happy right now. I had to walk away from the conversation before I got REALLY mad and said something I shouldn't have said.

I had a stroke of bad luck due to some family illness and became behind on my trash bill. When they called and requested a card number I refused and told them I would take care of it when they came to pick up their dumpster (I decided I could no longer afford the service bc of new medical expenses). I woke up to them dumping their dumpster all over the yard. (I had been at the ER all night and slept in) As they pulled off I tried to stop the worker telling him I had payment. He yelled obscenities as he pulled off. I am thankful that my children was not home to witness this horrible incident. I spent the rest of the morning picking up trash and loading trash. I tried to contact them but they ignored all of my calls. I left a message. No return call. I had used them for a commercial account and had never had any problems. I guess they treat commercial customers differently.
