(This review is not for this particular location, but for Citi Trends stores NATIONWIDE)…read more I used to shop at them back in Georgia and Alabama years ago and just completely forgot about them until I recently moved to Houston. I love the variety, being able to find NAME BRANDS sometimes, and the PRICES make it always worth the trip. I've been to a few different locations here and always find very cute and trendy items for myself, the husband and our daughter (12 yrs old). I'm a self sufficient shopper meaning most times I don't need to try on anything and don't need help finding anything so I never have to deal with anyone that works there. Once I make my way to the counter, I've never encountered bad attitudes. It could be because I approach people how I'd like to be approached and that seems to rub off on others Anyway, I am a fan and you will be too. I may not buy a complete outfit from there but definitely find cute stuff to kick it around in, run errands, weekend chilling out type outfits. Don't sleep on the shoes. Just found some cute pink Puma slides with the gold logo for $12.99 (and not the fuzzy or satin look ones). Most women I know think Citi Trends stores are &hetto, but these are the same women that always tell me how cute I always look and that they love the way I dress. Hmmm...LOL. Go. I bet you find SOMETHING you like!

The person in front of me attempted to exchange and item without a receipt. I was right behind that individual. The reason for my visit was to exchange without any receipt also. The store manager stated customers can no longer exchange without a receipt. I asked when it's the policy change. She stayed in she don't know but her store do not do that anymore. I said okay. She still exchanged it anyway and stated next time I have to have the receipt. I did not make a big deal out of it. This needs to be addressed.

I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, whose warmth and down-to-earth nature made the experience even better. Finding this spot can be a little tricky--it's tucked in a multi-complex building on Milam Street, between Stuart and Elgin, facing a parking garage. If you're looking for good vibes, positivity, and unique pieces to enhance your home or wardrobe, The Ollie Shop is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

I reached out a number of times via email and social media (largely unanswered) to be promised they would ship the book X date, and it was never shipped. Disappointing as I love to support small business, but this is not a honest seller.

They mainly do business with vintage shops and boutiques, but they have recently decided to open their doors to the public on the last Saturday of each month. The set-up of Top Vintage is like a warehouse (of win). However, if you are expecting a disorganized joint where shoppers are left to fend for themselves, you are sorely mistaken. They have all their items arranged into areas and bins, from dresses to overalls to jackets to shorts to shoes to bags/backpacks. During July's Top Saturday, they even hand-picked some black and white items to go on separate racks for easier browsing. As a vintage shopper, it is a prime source of goods and the Saturday events are like treasure hunts. It's that much more rewarding to take something home when you know you've worked to discover it. The staff is very kind and helpful and it is a great environment to shop. To see how much people love what they find here, check out Top Vintage's instagram, which they keep updated with fun combinations and pictures of their items that are out in the wild with their new owners.

I was happy to stumble across this one based on a recommendation from a social media post. I pulled up the stores website to see if they had plus sized clothes and called to confirm they did, before I drove there after my visit. The lady on the phone confirmed they did indeed have a plus size selection so I was on my merry way. Upon entering the store I was greeted and asked if I needed help with anything. I told the lady (I really hate I forgot her name) that I was just browsing and let her know I was the one that called and asked about the plus sized clothes. She said, "oh yes, Ebone'!" Now I am sure she got that from the caller ID, but the fact that she remembered and knew (and pronounced) my name, I had to give all the stars in the world for the personable customer service. She provided me with a couple of items to try on and unfortunately nothing worked to my liking (and everything else I loved was too small), but their clothes are GORGEOUS! I ended up only getting some earrings, but wait until your girl loses a couple of pounds!!! Thanks Melodrama!
