I am very excited for Triple Bottom Brewing Co. They have a big corner space. They are Spring Garden and parking is difficult. They have patio sitting but the noise from Spring Garden may be intrusive. Inside is a big high ceiling, high windows space. There is bar, table and private/quiet room seating. They have a smallish beer list. I got Good Attitude. It was very good and just as described. I got a great Caprese sandwich. You may not. They have a rotating pop up kitchen. I think rotates every week. I would like to see (and hope it is already in the works) more Triple Bottom Brewing pizzaz put into everything. Living close by to Triple bottom is a treat. It's very queer friendly and centered, to include an amazing new chef who is serving indochinese cuisine through the month of April. You have to try their food - it's amazing! I'm not even a drinker, but love the mocktails including the pomegranate mocktail mule. I've driven by Triple Bottom a ton of times and always think it looks cute and I should go there to sit outside sometime. Last night I was searching for something to do and found some last min tix to a comedy show at the triple bottom brewing. The price was right so we headed there right away. Triple Bottom is very cute inside and out. And the bar staff were super nice. They had a room in the back where they hosted an event (not the comedy show - a diff event). The comedy show was back in the actual brewery part of the brewery which was a super cool venue. The comedians were great. And the beer was great too. I'm a beer drinker who likes beers that don't taste like beer haha like fruity stuff. And the nice staff let me try a couple and I found one that was great for me. Wish I remember what it was called. It ended in "bot" haha. it was berry flav and delish. My boyfriend had the crunch which he enjoyed. read more

This was our last stop for the night. The location is very convenient - it's located close enough to Center City that we walked to it and back from our hotel. It's a nice place with really good people. They have outside seating, but we sat inside and were very pleased and comfortable. The staff was helpful and gave us tastes of a few beers to help our choices. The beer is very good. I imagine that parking might be tricky, but because we were on foot, it was perfect. We will return on our next trip to Philly. read more

When it comes to breweries in the EraserhoodTriple Bottom has been my least traveled option, But its one of those places where each visit has given me a newfound reason to celebrate it to a point that deserves mention in a review. The first thing that I appreciate is Triple Bottom's lease on being a fair chance business that gives anyone from a wide variety of experiences a chance to learn the beer brewing trade should they seek it. The next thing that I enjoy is Triple Bottom allowing aspiring and developing chefs to share their recipes with the community through achefs residency program that adds up to a good rotating menu. The main selling point to Triple Bottom is its brews, and since its a brewery that originated from three friends who found each other through their brewing, they know how to do it well. In my visits I've enjoyed many an IPA, stout, sour, lager, and then some! Toss in events like Taproom Yoga and you have plentiful reasons to attend! read more

This place has a great indoor space that can be used for events. I was there attending an event and it was nice space with high ceilings and bright interior so you didn't feel cramped. My friend and I stayed after the event and had a drink at the bar and all the staff were super nice and attentive. I am not a beer drinker but the dry cider they had on tap was really great. I needed to kill a little time before seeing a show at Union Transfer right across the road. Boy am I glad I stopped here. Although there isn't a huge beer selection, they have enough of a variety and the Pilsner I had was delicious. At $7 for a half liter... you can't beat that. The inside is bright and welcoming with modern decor and chill music. They have a nice deck to enjoy your drink outside when weather permits. You can't go wrong with the white bean dip. Awesome concept for a brewery of emphasizing the triple bottom line! The interior is spacious with high ceilings and minimalist decor. I got a flight and sampled 4 beers: the Training Montage (New England IPA), Front Stoop (American IPA), Wheely Kid (Wheat), and the Odd Fellows (Bock). The beer was pretty good, but not my favorite in the city. My favorite of the 4 I tried was the Front Stoop. The food selection is limited so I would suggest eating somewhere nearby before/after visiting. I definitely plan to return and try some of the other brews! read more

I have been waiting a few months to come down into the city to check out Triple Bottom and my experience did not disappoint. I love the idea of this brewery and the social mission they stand behind, and they have the beer to back it up. The patio is great, its a spot where I felt I may not have been cool enough to hang out at but everyone was super friendly and having a good time. We walked right up to the outdoor bar where they were serving canned beer, wine and cocktails. I love craft beer and drinking beer where it's made, but it is nice to see small craft breweries offer a few different beverages as well. The host and folks behind the bar were friendly and offered information behind the artwork around the brewery, on the cans, and what the fan favorite beers are that day. I choose the blossom and will be back to have this brew again, a little sweet, with a good malt backbone made it a great beer for 70F weather. I finally wandered into triple bottom one day after living in the neighborhood for a few months and thinking how cute it was every time I passed. I had looked at their website and am a big fan of their mission, as well as great beer, so I was looking forward to giving them a try. When I came in the staff was friendly, the interior was bright and welcoming, and the tunes were ON POINT. Bee Gees remixes? Yes please. I sat at the bar, was warmly welcomed by the server, and ordered a beer which was quite good. I was the only customer in the brewery for most of my visit in the middle of the afternoon. Unfortunately as my time there went on the service was very spotty and the server rarely checked in on me. They were chatting with other staff members near the end of the bar, and I had to interrupt multiple times to get what I needed which felt awkward. Maybe it was a function of me being the only customer at an odd hour, but it definitely wasn't ideal. I ordered a bowl of butternut chili modified to be vegan, as it was the only vegan option. The chili was tasty, but way too salty and I was shocked at how small the portion was considering the price. I think it should have been half the price it was, or twice the portion. I came back again about a month later with a friend, and we sat outside. Again the service was pretty poor and we weren't even clear on who our server was. I felt like we were forgotten about multiple times. All in all, I think this is a good place to grab a drink with friends, but wouldn't go back for food. Triple Bottom Brewery is the "new game" in town (about 2-3 months, I think) and features socially conscious brews in a comfortable space. I think Happy Hour would be worth a trip back, but it's just a brewery and anything more than snacks isn't recommended (that's fine!). Pros: The beers are pretty solid. Some thoughts: The Sunny: A Zwickelbier, a lager variant (per google) that was light, sweet and as I mentioned to my friends at the bar, I could drink 1,000 during the summer. On this cold fall day, I had one - still enjoyable! The Terminal: A chocolatey delight. Thick and flavorful. I'm not a beer snob or true aficionado, but while I could only enjoy one of these, I really liked it! Odd Fellows: A more drinkable Oktoberfest or festbier. Festbiers aren't really my cup of tea, but this one was lighter and easier to drink. Service was fine if unnoticeable, but the staff was incredible knowledgeable, not just about their own beers, but other local options as well. Food is brought in, but features some excellent local options like Starkazy pies/pasties which were delicious. Maybe one day they could expand their menu? Cons: If there's one beer I wish they had, it would be a sessionable IPA. Every IPA on their list was 6% minimum and while I appreciated what I tried (I samples friends' beers as well as what's above), I wish that was an option. I also wish they had customized flights (I didn't ask, maybe they do, but the menu did not suggest as much). I wish there were more food options, but not a big deal. Other notes: The space is big and easy to navigate. Incredible room to move around, but still warm and comfortable. A touch sparse, but it was almost appreciated. Conclusion: Triple Bottom Brewing is a good entry into a growing beer scene in Philadelphia and particularly the Spring Garden - No Libs - Fishtown - Kenzo area. If all that isn't enough, this is a place with a mission. Employees are ex-cons and formerly homeless who have trouble acquiring jobs. I love this spot right on Spring Garden. The brewery is bright and open making it a good hang out spot whenever I'm making my way home after going to center city. I haven't tried any of the food but I have had a few beers here. All of them have tasted great with Training Montage and Good Attitude being my favorites. They have plenty of seating - mostly picnic tables and high tops. Last time I was hear I was able to score the couch which was super comfy. The only other thing is water is self serve, which I actually prefer. Staff here is really friendly too. They came around frequently to clear empty glasses from the tables so things didn't get too crowded. Definitely recommend stopping here whenever you get the chance. read more

I don't drink beer, but when I do, it's going to be at Triple Bottom. I love the concept and what they stand for - giving back to people and the community, giving people a fair chance. I wish more businesses thought about more than profit (because guess what - you can make money when you treat your employees and customers well). I have tried a few beers and they've been solid. The staff has been super great. The environment is also very chill. Great for groups or just a day or night out with a friend or partner. They sell some small bites - pies from Stargazy for example. So it's not just about the beer. It's a great local place supporting the other local businesses too. They also had a fair chance market today - which was just another great way to support the community. We went and found several items that made us feel better about where the money was going to. If you haven't been to Triple Bottom, you should definitely make the trip. It's worth it! read more

We came here for Billy Penn quiz so this week (1) complexly shocked with how gorgeous the interior is (2) astounded that they extended happy hour to 8pm!! And (3) pleased that the beers were not terrible. After having ,over out from right downtown we generally NEVER find ourselves in Spring Arts but we decided to wander back for this occasion with some great friends. I had no idea they had done so much work to this building that I would have thought could have easily fallen over within the year the last that I saw of it and found themselves a very cohesive and spacious area to enjoy some new brews. What an awesome spot!! We are so happy we checked out this brewery yesterday for lunch. We sat on the patio with our dog and loved the ambiance. The brewery is very trendy and large inside. My husband enjoyed the beers and I appreciated that the wine list was not an afterthought but was a nicely curated list. We sampled the bean dip, sweet potato tacos and shepherds pie and all were the *chefs kiss* (while the tacos could use a little flare). We'll definitely be back! read more

The interior is great. Lots of light and open space. Great for groups. They also have games like apples to apples available to play. The beer was pretty bad. Tried about 4 or 5. Most were similar to bud light or skunked bud light. The food menu is very limited. Spent $32 for the "big board" which I expected to be big but was vastly underwhelmed by its size and lack of food. There were four different very tiny pieces of cheese and three pieces of packaged meat. Staff was very friendly. Just wish they had better food and drink. read more

I'm disappointed-my sister wanted to celebrate her birthday at this spot, the staff was incredibly unwelcoming and acted as if a small party (about 10 people) staggering in one by one was overwhelming/unwelcomed. Said we would have to wait to be served, we waited over 25 minutes before we went to the bar to be served. when attempting to order at the bar, the server said no and I had to wait to be seen at my table! 10 more minutes went by before we were even acknowledged. Once acknowledged the server said "I need a few minutes". I know people are understaffed but the attitude the server gave was outrageous. I have never experienced someone basically turning people away saying we would have to wait. I worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years and am appalled by the behavior from our server. Will never recommend anyone here. i would love to talk to a manager at this establishment. Please call me/reach out. I have never left a negative review in my life but I think you need new employees. read more
