Decided to enjoy a flight of beer and a order of cornbread before the event. 4 samples for $9 and crispy cornbread for $6. Enjoyed the Gratutious Haze IPA sadly because the Double was all out. Still strong in hop and flavor. Finished it while devouring some spicy butter on my cripsy yet moisted cornbread. They have a small food counter that was closed the day I went (Sunday) but I saw patrons bringing in outside food and eating inside. The staff is the sweetest and I loved talking to them, it felt like home and they wished me a safe return flight home. I met some cool locals and overall just loved the vibes here. The cocktail I had was very good and the bartender was friendly. The comedy show was 'eh,' I'll give it a pass. Some were funnier than others, and you could tell a few were still working on their craft. Comedy is hard. The first thing that stands out to me about Two Locals is the huge space with all kinds of amenities. Whether its a seat at the bar, grabbing a seat by a barrel, or grabbing a table for a group of any size; it has the perfect seating arrangement for you. While the brewery side only serves libations the space also features the Landing Kitchen serving all kinds of damn good food. Another plus is the huge variety of games that they have to play, including an ice breakers questions game that made for a good second date activity. The service at Two Locals is great and filled with bartenders who provide good brew suggestions. And I love that Two Locals is a brewery that goes beyond pouring IPAs while also pouring some damn good ones.. Favorite beers of mine from here include the Nubian brown ale, the Gaspar dark Mexican lager, the Riots smoked rauchbier, and the Foway farmhouse saison. For events outside of beer Two Locals features events like a comedy showcase, movie screenings, gospel karaoke, and then some. And starting in Apirl 3rd they'll also be partnering with UCity Square to have a pop-up beer garden in The Lawn.

But Future Days stands out among them for being appropriately named since I can easily see myself spending most of my days chilling in their indoor/outdoor seating with an IPA, shooting pool and playing boardgames among good company and a lager, and more if I lived closer. Tucked away on a street where it's the only main destination, Future Days is a spot with two floors of bar settings that cater to all ideal experiences during the five days that they're open. the ground floor has a standard bar space with stools inside, and a wonderful outdoor courtyard for all the chill vibes. Meanwhile upstairs is fully stacked with a main bar, plenty of table settings for groups of all sizes, a pool table, and plenty of boardgames to choose from. aside from a few bags of chips its bring your own food, but in an area like Fishtown that isn't really a bad thing. While they certainly have some good ones on their list, Future Days touts a tap list that goes well beyond IPAs and brings a well round list to your table. Favorites of mine include their smoked Helles lager, Mud Club coffee porter, Strut New England IPA, and Future Days kolsch. Toss in events like barre yoga sessions and trivia nights, and there's plenty to enjoy!

It has kind of a beer hall style of ordering, where you can either walk up to the snack kiosk and order on a touch screen, or do it right from your phone.
