I and my family have been enjoying Cedar Stock marina for our entire lives. So happy to see Eric and Shannon get ownership of the stunningly beautiful Marina/lake. My heart reside in these waters.

Awe missed the BBQ we just happen to be visiting some friends on the three days they were closed. But after reading some of the reviews we will have to plan that for next time. But I must say the campground was spotless and the cabins were cozy. We stayed in cabin 1 that had just been redone and we loved it! The staff was attentive and friendly. There are employees running around all the time eager to answer questions. The pool was a great place to cool off after a day out on the water fishing. There is a little burger and ice cream shop as well as a store for the necessities. Ice and marshmallows for s'mores. Great get away, we will certainly go again and again. Maybe even rent a house boat now that the water is up.

She wasn't pushy at all and didn't upsell me anything - just gave me all the tips and info. We decided on a tandem snowmobile for an hour with a guide. We arrived 20 minutes late but she was so professional - she shortened and made the check in process so easy. There was a cabin with fire where you can change since Deer Mountain was quite cold and was snowing that day desolate the snow drought. She was mega attentive and taught us everything and told us exactly where we were going. She took couple of pictures for us and explained what we'll see had it not been so foggy. On the way back when we stopped at a viewpoint my boyfriend accidentally accelerated and we toppled right where the cliff started - Michele rushed over and helped us up and we genuinely concerned for our well being. We're so grateful she was our guide and can't recommend her enough. She's an amazing person with a beautiful smile and we definitely suggest everyone go snowmobile with her, especially first timers!

She even took us to see Mt. Shasta from the lake, which was beautiful. We'll definitely be back again!

I spent the best summer of my life working as a wrangler/horse trainer at Coffee Creek Ranch and…read morewas also lucky enough to come back as a paying guest twice since! It is one of the only authentic guest ranches on the West Coast (I have worked at others since that claimed 5 stars and never once had as much fun as I did at CCR). The trails and mountains are beautiful, the horses well behaved and healthy, the food is AMAZING, and the cabins are adorable! I was even able to be there recently for the Thanksgiving holiday to reunite with or meet just about every member of the Hartman family! It was pretty incredible to get to enjoy the ranch and the gorgeous Trinity Alps in the winter for the first time too. I cannot even believe some of these scathing reviews I just read! I can understand frustration if you feel like your expectations weren't met in a situation where you paid money, but this particular experience was such an isolated one that it simply doesn't speak for the ranch/accommodations/etc. quality as a whole. Coffee Creek Ranch is a family-owned, family-friendly mountain resort where people go to get away from the chaos of their daily lives and spend a few days (at least) and try out some of the many unique activities offered. It's not a place to travel all the way too if you are going to rush or try to fit too much into only a few hours. In the entire time I worked there I don't remember seeing one guests leave dissatisfied - except perhaps if they didn't catch a fish, or over-slept for the Breakfast Ride, or ran out of time to do karaoke on their last night or something like that! I just reached out to Ruth again last week to schedule a romantic weekend getaway for myself and my boyfriend in May and I absolutely can't wait!!

We said, No thank you, we will just rent it. Took the stupid thing out for a total of 6 hours and the light started blinking, the next thing you know it's only running 5 miles per hour. We managed to ride it back to the rental company before they closed and swap it out! They had no problems swapping it out...obviously they knew it had issues! They told us...oh it might be the pump, I'll have my husband look at it, maybe you picked up rocks??? Or maybe NOT! This isn't our first time...we're out on the lake every Labor Day! A week and a half later my credit card it charged over $800 for the repair! I've got no description of work preformed or service done. When my sister called to see what the deal was, she was like oh ya, I picked up the parts today and my husbands going to fix it...save you guys some money ! Really!!!! Then I called and she was unwilling to speak to me and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I guess I'll see you in small claims court! Not only that...bad yelp reviews are going to cost you a lot more! We were so happy they were open for business and renting out kayaks during the COVID-19 pandemic…read more We really wanted to kayak on Lewiston Lake as it is such a beautiful lake, and we were able to rent a couple of kayaks for a couple of hours at a really good price. I believe we paid $30 for both kayaks. So inexpensive. We weren't camping far, and we wanted to get on the water before it got too hot. We've been dealing with 100 degree days (in late July), so it was best to be done by 10. We got on the water at 8 am, and paddled towards Lewiston. It was such a beautiful morning. The lake was just stocked with trout, so we saw lots of trout jumping! The lake has a 10 mph speed limit, so it was very quiet. We saw a couple of boats and one other pair of kayakers. It was a weekday, so there weren't too many people. After getting off the water, we bought a couple of ice cream drumsticks from their little store. They also have chips and other snacks, but the ice cream really hit the spot. We managed to sit under one of their heritage Apple trees and saw more fish jumping. Their dog was so excited that the fish was jumping. Lol They do have a restroom but it's a Porta Potty. It's not bad though. We overheard the owner say on the phone that she was closing the Marina soon as she has to go back to teaching. So glad she was still around when we were there!
