I also had taken a cologuard test but unfortunately a staff member lost the results but doctor said it did show "positive" on something so he requested I consider a colonoscopy ..... my mammogram was all good, but I let him know it was the worst mammogram I ever had..... I was sore for 5 days and felt "violated" by the girl who did the exam.... I will go elsewhere in the future..... All I requested was something to help me stop cravings as I am 20 pounds overweight and if I can stop the sweet cravings, I feel confident the weight will come off especially with my exercise routine.... but I never got a prescription for anything so I will go elsewhere for help...... I think Dr Peterson is a wonderful doctor, its just unfortunate that I had a terrible mammogram and the cologuard results were lost and the new cholesterol medicine didn't work and there is nothing to help with weight loss...... c'est la vie

He is a very good doctor, he covers everything you need to discuss. He doesn't rush you, he is actually the opposite (very thorough in his treatments) which I appreciate. I always feel safe under his care. His staff, mainly Melissa,is the best around. She is caring and friendly and helps with everything in her power. She and Dr Wyrick make the best team. They are both very dear to me. If you need a good primary doctor, contact them.

UT HEALTH IMAGING CENTER…read more Very rude front desk personnel. No recognition when signing in, just ignored. After signing in I started reading a notice regarding MRI patients. Andrea then stated I could go sit down and she wound call me when she was ready for me. She seemed to be condescending. While waiting she ask if I knew I owed $80 ish dollars. It was not clarified they my charge for that day was what she was referring to. I responded No! She then stated since I signed in on echart I should have known. I had no clue what she was taking about. She acted as if I wasn't or didn't Gabe the money to pay for the visit. Had She said, your balance today is... I just found her to be a bit rude. However my MRI tech was excellent. Thank you Ashley for making my visit more pleasant, for explaining the procedure, for speaking to me kindly, showing my way around and my way out. TERRIBLE OFFICE STAFF My mother has been a patient of Dr. Adleman's for many years. Recently she…read morehad to have emergency surgery, which resulted in a long recovery period. Being that she is 79 yr old and widowed it was best to bring her back to Austin to stay with me while she was recovering. We contacted Dr. Aldelmans office to get her correct prescriptions before we left for Austin. We were left in the waiting room for two hours before his wife came out to let us know they were NOT going to help us with her prescription. Then we returned two days later to try to get a precription for home health for my mom while in Austin. Again a two hour wait in the office for the prescription. My mother needed blood pressure medication over the Thanksgiving weekend. I tried to call the office several times. I was told each time that someone would at least call me back. This never happened. On Monday I called the office to let them know that I needed these prescriptions. I spoke with someone claiming to be the office manager. She was EXTREMELY rude and VERY Unprofessional. Being in the healthcare field for the past 20 years I am accutely aware of poor bedisde manner. This was the worst I have ever encountered. She was insulting and disrespectiful. I find this office to be the worst example of the healthcare industry. I would never allow my mother to return to an office that showed such little concern for their patients well being The office manager ( his wife) would not let me speak and continued to imply that I was lacking in intelligence. She then told me she was not going to help me with the medications my poor mother needed and hung up on me Do not take your family members to this office, clearly they are not interested in the well being of their patients

He isn't very well ad-versed in insurance coverage meaning whether certain treatments/labs are covered and he will arbitrarily error in favor of the practice. He will tell you that he is very busy and will do you a favor by seeing you. He can also be hard to understand due to his strong Asian accent. I would not recommend this individual to any one. He is not the person to have your best health interest in my opinion and you should think twice before trusting your health over to this person. This individual believes he is the best thing to ever happen to medicine....WRONG..!!

I've been to several docs in East TX and can't say I've ever found someone that presents as professional but also caring as Dr. Layne did. Also, they were on time for my appointment and didn't make me wait at all, which I haven't found anywhere lately--I think most docs are always running behind. I can already tell this place is top notch! They are 100% worth my 75 min drive to get there!
