My husband and I put our son in Trinity and it was the best decision we've made. Not only is this school absolutely beautiful, but they care for each and every single student that walks through that door AND their families. The attention to detail is impeccable. The love that you feel when you walk through the front doors is unexplainable. If it's something that you've thought about, even just for a second, I highly recommend to go to a Discover Trinity meeting. I would get in contact with Elizabeth Hosmann asap. Trinity Classical Academy is an incredible blessing. We have four children at the school. They are all different and they have each had great experiences over many years. The leadership is intentional and available. There is such a clear and consistent vision. But the thing that stands out most is the teachers. Great hiring and many teachers have had long careers at this school. They care deeply the students and are experts who love the areas they teach. POC students are not safe at this school period. Expect overtly racist comments, slurs and innumerable micro-aggressions from students, other parents, teachers, staff and administrators. The harm to sense of self is not worth any perceived academic gains. POC parents are not welcomed into the community. In our time here it was common to see POC students and families last a year or less. Expect a lot of white tears if you bring the racism problem to the administration and be clear that's all you will get. I can personally think of 15 POC families that came and went in our time at Trinity. Ask the admissions office for their contact information (or get a yearbook and look them up yourself) to learn first hand how they were treated at this "Christian" school. Best school in Santa Clarita by far. So blessed my children and family are part of this amazing community. The curriculum is challenging, the teachers and staff are wonderful, the campus is safe. These are only a few positive attributes and there are so many more. The founder of the school, Mrs. Caddow, is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. Our family feels loved and supported. i attended trinity beginning rhetoric school for 2 years. they claim to be christians but will do ANYTHING but practice what they preach. they are always begging for donations but will never use it for anything important besides sports. it's almost to the point where this isn't even a school, it's more of just promoting the "trinity" brand that's equivalent to the walmart version of what they they think they are. if you don't fit the social standards at this school, you will suffer. they do not believe in any kind of diversity or artistic minds. students get away with treating their peers like crap because their parents are the ones funding the school. academics don't prepare you for the real world unless you expect your child to work for the pope in the vatican. don't take your children here, literally take them anywhere else unless you want to deal with the heavy tuition and constant micro-aggression for being slightly different from their peers. read more

So they touted themselves about serving kids with special needs for summer camp. They supposedly had a special education specialist. They could not deal with my daughter who is not severe at all, and straight up gave up on her after one day of camp. My wife and I originally thought it was a good fit because they even asked for an IEP. At the end of the day, it was a joke. The only reason I don't give them one star was because there was one teacher there that seemed to legitimately want to work with my daughter. read more

Please do extensive research before sending your child to this school. It's hard to know where to start on the problems you will encounter here. Nepotism rules - you will find out that teachers are related to admins, teachers are related to each other, admins are related to each other. Try discussing an issue about a teacher to an administrator that is the said teachers mom, mother-in-law or husband. Consequences for inappropriate behavior depended on who the student is related to. Ask the head of the school about her son's behavioral issues that would have had any other student expelled or arrested. Ask the dean of students why his son was expelled (only after being threatened with legal recourse) after years of inappropriate behavior including inappropriate sexual behavior. This school has reputation in Santa Clarita for a reason. Elitist attitudes are cultivated here. I have heard from numerous people that this school functions like a cult. As a parent who had multiple students here I completely agree. You definitely have to drink the kool aid to be accepted here. The diversity is nonexistent and they like it that way. Without exposure to different people - students, staff and parents are comfortable espousing ignorant, racist, and classist beliefs. Students are not prepared to deal with the real world outside of the "Trinity bubble." Ask why the vast majority of Alumni don't return and wouldn't send their kids there. Expect to see more negative reviews as many of us parents who have left have decided to help other families make a more informed decision. read more

My son started preschool this year! We have been met with love and enthusiasm I've never seen in a school. We applied to a few and decided this one was the perfect fit for our child! We look forward to spending the next 12 years with this wonderful family school environment! So grateful for Trinity !!! read more

if i could give a 0 i would i went to this school from 2nd grade-7th. i was bullied then all the teachers victim blamed and shamed. they do not believe in diversity or in artistic minds. this school will traumatize your child if they do not fit the social standard. read more

I paid the 35.00 fee for the financial aid application for my son and attempted to follow up many times on the status and never received any information following up on my application which is a shame because I was interested in this school for my son. I applied welllllll before the pandemic and they had plenty of time to reach out after I paid the 35.00 application fee. read more

Our son graduated last year from Trinity. He attended there from kindergarten on. I cannot say enough about this school. The staff truly cares about the students AND their parents. They are accessible and helpful. This is a Christian school--and they put Christ in everything they do. They teach the kids how to think, how to reason, and how to be articulate. They are not a "holy huddle"--ignoring beliefs and arguments contrary to Christianity. They embrace discussion and debate. My son is prepared for college because it won't be the first time he's presented with ideas contrary to Christianity. He knows what he believes and why he believes it. And he is humble-- he's not a "know it all" person which can be so offputting to those who are of other faiths or no faith. I'm grateful to Trinity for so much. They literally changed our lives forever. Trinity is a smaller school. It's rigorous. Its conservative. It will not be the right fit for everyone or every child. And that's ok. There are some other great schools out there. But in our experience, nothing compares to the education our son (and we!) received at Trinity. I read an earlier review of someone in a snit about how they didn't get a return call from the admissions director. I will warn you-- the staff are people. They are not perfect. So, if you need that, Trinity probably isn't the place for you. If grace isn't your thing--it might not be the place for you either. But if you are willing to dive in, help where you can, and understand that things, no matter how hard people work, can be good without being perfect-- then Trinity might be a good place for you. Oh- on another note--they do ask a decent amount of participation from the parents. This isn't a "write the tuition check and be done" kind of place. Sometimes we were a bit "unenthused" about needing to attend events and meetings. I admit it-- we would have rather been home in our pajamas sometimes. But we always understood why Trinity wanted parental participation. The kids work really hard and the parents need to understand the underlying ideas behind how hard the kids work. It keeps everyone inspired and aware. In all, we have loved being part of the Trinity family. I'm grateful it's not perfect-- we wouldn't belong there if it was (we'd mess it up!) but we've never seen anything like it. Trinity is in a class by itself. read more

I recently enrolled my daughter in their special needs program, Imago Dei, after having a horrible experience with my local highschool. The staff has made the transition so smooth. I have never worked with such an amazing group of people. I wish I had found out about this school sooner. We were one of the founding families of Trinity and just became the first family to have a second generation attend the school - our granddaughter just started kindergarten! Our two older children attended other Christian schools. There is no comparison in the quality of education. The culture at Trinity is extraordinary. There is no greater gift you can give your child than a quality Christian education and whatever sacrifice you need to make is well worth it. After reading the latest review I had to chime in, no one has all the answers to how to handle COVID but this school has gone above and beyond to be thoughtful and offer both remote and in person learning. With strong opinions on both sides it is nice to be somewhere where your childs learning is taken very seriously and the staff will bend over backwards to meet the needs of your child and your family. We are at the start of our first year at Trinity and first time placing our child at a school, as I previously homeschooled. Even though we are in the thick of the transition period and there have been challenges, I have nothing but rave reviews about how the teacher has handled things! Mrs. Gray is kind and warm but also holds a high expectation for the class. I love that in the morning we almost always see the Head of School Mrs. Caddow greeting students and parents, even helping the kids get in and out of the cars during drop off and pick up! The grammar school principal Mr. Sikes is also out directing traffic and helping kids and saying good morning! They care about and know every child by name and what grade they are in. They ask regularly how things are going and genuinely care to help in any way possible! They try their best to handle situations in a Christian way. So far we really love Trinity, even with it's transition hardships. It's how we know we are all learning and growing! read more

We just Enrolled a week ago and we are so beyond happy we get to be a part of Trinity. The founder of the school liz Caddow has such an amazing heart for every student that attends. So far all the people that are on staff or helping out are so welcoming. Their is such a passion on the children's education. My favorite part is they offer elementary thru high school grades and that one of the foundations in their teachings is god centered. read more

Attempted to obtain more information about this school. I called the admissions director, Elizabeth, several times over a 4 week period. I finally received a call back and she left a message apologizing for not calling back but that at least she was calling me back now. When I returned her phone call again I was met with more silence. I reached out to her via email and nothing. Very disappointing and a horrible first impression. If they can't return a phone call it makes me nervous of how organized their program truly is. read more

Our family has had children at Trinity Classical Academy for over 10 years and I would describe it as nothing less than a privilege. I felt that I had to write this when I saw how low the Yelp rating was and just encourage those of you who are looking for a quality Christian education in an environment that will nurture your child's soul. Are we a perfect place - definitely not - and we are the first to admit it. But what I have been impressed with over the years is how our administration deals with problems that arise. They don't ignore things and hope they will go away, but instead deal with them early and appropriately. So while I see disgruntled competitors rant over bad behavior on the athletic field, I can unequivocally assure you those issues are addressed. From an education standpoint, I believe Trinity to be unparalleled. Not only are my children's teachers gifted at what they do, but they love my kids and care about their success.
