After much prayer and research, our military family of five was led & called here to Trinity! God is good all the time!We continue being taught the scriptures through godly, Bible-based discipleship and are weekly challenged to share our faith to our spheres of influence in love. In the 6 years we've been members here, we've grown so much in our walk with God both individually and as a family as we have so many opportunities to express our faith. They provide options to volunteer from their homeless showers and breakfast ministries and AWANAs to their Live Drive Through Nativity to name a few. Our dear Pastor Bill, whom we prayed for and waited two years to meet, has truly been an answer to prayer. We're so grateful for his calling to Trinity! God's timing is always perfect. Not long after he and his family arrived, our own family went through a sudden, personal crisis, and his unconditionally loving, persistent responses have proven to us God does hear our prayers. He sent the right person at just the right time for this tough job by loving us through it all! We saw a glimpse of Jesus in Bill's kindness and patience. He continues to check in on us, which is so encouraging. The members of this church also joined with him and we are so much stronger in our faith and love for God and Trinity as a result! Our members span the age gamut and that makes it a joy to be here! The spiritual mentorship program is such a blessing, especially for our kids! They recognize the importance of this biblical teaching (Titus 2). I could go on, but I'll end with this...Trinity Church and Pastor Bill STRIVE to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves. We are changing to be relevant to the needs of our community, however, this is being done without compromising on the scriptures in God's Word. With that said, I highly recommend them!!! read more

This church has been my home for 40+ years. While there have been lots of changes over these decades, what we have today is good solid teaching straight from the Bible, even if it's tough to take. The worship music is contemporary, and themed each week to complement the teaching. But the best thing you'll find here is a family devoted to caring for each other and sharing Christ's love with everyone. read more

Trinity Church - Outdoor Baptism - Churches Near Me - Livermore, California

I have not gone to church here but I went to their Live Nativity Drive Thru last night for the first time. You sit in your car listen to their radio station so you can follow the pre-recorded Nativity story through Mary's point of view by driving to each different scene/station. Children and adults are acting out the scenes and there are live animals also. It's cute and so Livermore! They control the flow so you are on time to each scene and small groups of 3 cars at a time at each scene. They give you free candy canes and are super friendly. They have about 400 people volunteering every year and its only on for Four days. The wait can be long but it was worth it to support the community and get in the Christmas spirit of things. We got in line at 8:30 pm and was finished by 10 pm. They close the line of cars at 9pm. Just another reason why Livermore is truly unique! read more

I attended Trinity church as a middle school student years ago. I came to youth groups with my friends, and I felt right at home. That was until I came out. I understand that there's a trend among self-proclaimed Christians who preach love and acceptance to shun lose who are too different from them, but this was the last thing I expected from a place I called home. I was told by pastor Bill that he would be preaching things that went against me. I wasn't allowed to use the men's restroom. I asked Bill to show me where in the Bible it said transgender people are a sin, and alas he had NOTHING. It was his own biased, discriminative agenda. Why was it that the kids I went to church with respected me and never questioned who I was, but the people that were supposed to look after the church and spread the word of God were the ones telling me I should be ashamed for being who I am? I went before the whole church and proclaimed that I was giving myself up to God, only to be practically shunned and kicked out of my church. The one time I went back, they decided they were going to start splitting the youth groups by gender and made me stay with the girls. At this point literally, everyone knew me as Lucas, and everyone knew me as who I was- a boy! So why out me to the ENTIRE CHURCH and force me to do what made me miserable? Gee, thanks Pastor Bill for making your church such a safe space for youth. Oh, except for the ones that make you squirm in your chair and make you oh-so uncomfortable. Congrats on pushing your own agenda, and making a poor 13 year old even more miserable than they already were. I will never forget how broken and betrayed I felt. You told me in front of my parents that I would not be respected in this church. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that being transgender is sinful. In fact, if God made me perfect the way I am, then God made me transgender and you need to suck it up. I remember my friends in the youth group being surprised. They said nobody cared about the kids who went there and were openly gay or bisexual. But once the trans kid comes in, suddenly they need to be suppressed and discriminated against. Looking back on it, I'm still shocked this even happened. I loved Trinity. I loved the people there. I was ready to devote my life to God and I attended church every Sunday and every youth group on Wednesdays. I was going to join the church band. I participated in all the wonderful events organized by the church. I LOVED TRINITY. But Trinity left me heartbroken and wondering why I was even alive. How was it that the people who were supposed to be the most loving and kind were the same ones who turned their backs on me in my most vulnerable time? In conclusion, I was shunned from this church I called home. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Maybe there was once a pastor here who loved every one, but I'm 100% confident that the current one has his own agenda. I will never forget how you made me feel, and I hope you are ashamed. Trinity is not a safe space for people who are different, so don't even bother. read more

Update to previous review from 3 years ago. Covid has really taken its toll on all churches , so sad. Happy to report Trinity is on the rebound and starting to grow again . Led by Pastor Bill Craig and some great and knowledgeable elders this church has a bright future and its amazing to be a part of the "rebirth" . If you are looking for a Gospel driven church come down and and get fed with the word . Kids ministries are starting again , bring the family! read more

The drive thru nativity was good but the overall storyline was a bit too predictable. Ok, hopefully you got the humor....or maybe you got it but didn't find it funny. Oh well. I crack myself up and that's all that really matters.... Very cute. Line was loooooong but we were offered candy canes, juice, and fruit snacks. There were carolers who sounded pretty good. They even gave us Christmas quizes and activities. Helped keep the kids busy during the long wait. Very friendly and thoughtful. Super surprised they didn't ask for donations. We even had some money ready to go. read more

We loved Trinity. The people are GREAT, all of the people are great and we knew it was over due for changes, for sure. However, a new young Pastor shows up and we were hanging in there with him for sure. My wife heard him say something that bothered her a lot (like if you complain of changes not Christlike). But we gave him a pass knowing how hard change would be for some. Then a week or two later he (in the Sermon) is unhappy with Trump's wall (he just said we are building a Wall didn't mention Mr. Trump) and how we are scaring the (illegal) children and said that twice. So I assume (again an assumption) he is a Big Liberal but don't know for sure. To be fair if he was for Trump I also don't think it would be appropriate for him to be for the Wall and have it in a Sermon. So very sadly we are done and are enjoying our new Church but really, really and sincerely miss the GREAT people at Trinity.....true. read more

There is no room for new talent to be used here. They are not developing new talent but stuck in the way things are. Pastor Meek does a good job but his slide shows every Sunday do get old. He is very knowledgeable in the Word and is an excellent teacher. I have not seen a church that did not welcome new talent but was "stayed" in the way things are. Was difficult to work through this reality. Ample parking and nice facility but sadly if you have a need to share your God given talents it probably will not happen here. read more

I'm from out of town but had an opportunity on a couple of occasions to attend Trinity's Sunday services as well as one of their many Bible Study classes. At the time, the senior pastor position had been vacant and they were attempting to fill that position. In spite of lacking the direction of a senior pastor, however, I found Trinity to be solid, focused on Jesus, with a congregation of mixed ages, etc. and friendly to strangers like myself. I hope to visit again in the near future and look forward to meeting their new pastor, who apparently joined them a month or 2 ago. Congratulations! For those looking for a home church, I would definitely consider them. read more
