A very large and comfortable church that always offers a timely and relevant message from Pastor…read moreSteve. The church works easily with busy schedules as it even offers a service on Saturday. An intimate and strong community is maintained through numerous small home groups, a cozy coffee shop, and various outreach and volunteer opportunities. The first time I went was because I was meeting a friend from Tracy as a convenient mid point. We settled into the coffee shop to pass a bit of time before the message - and this is when my friend was on his phone and saw the news of the passing of Paul Walker... so after a quick Google search I can see that day was November 30, 2013. I have been many times since that time back in 2013. Pastor Steve has a passion and gift for what he does. Hes authentic and weaves in stories that make sermons more fun and memorable: like the story of the birds crashing into windows - and the possible meaning of that or the one sermon of fake versus flawed. For the record you aren't expected to somehow be perfect here. This is a church for strong believers and followers of Christ all the way to non believers or seekers. The church space is so large you will find a spot your comfortable in. Maybe your not the type to sit front and center - hands waving in the air... well, you can just hang in the coffee shop for the entire duration of the sermon where you can hear and see whats going on over the TV. This church is located at the border of Livermore and Pleasanton with many smaller satellite locations all over the bay. At a church with this many people and locations it is important to join a small group. Friends are made in volunteering situations and in smaller group settings where everybody works together toward a set goal. Go online and check out what is offered. I think people are like redwood trees - when we are "planted" in groups it makes us stronger and we hold each other up during the storms and learn from one another. Paul Walker got prayers from me that day but also learn from his mistake - driving in a 2005 model year car with 10 year old crusty tires with good tread depth - a problem that tends to happen in cars that are not driven often. Check in with your car enthusiast friends and even grandma with her 10 year old car with 20,000 miles and original factory tires - especially if it doesn't have an electronic stability program. Make some close Christian friends and join this community - or at least visit once or twice to see if its for you.

As a mom with two boys, I needed a church that reaches you wherever you are in your walk with God. For once I found a church where you don't have to have a "church face." Come as you are. A little about CW: The church actively serves the Tri-Valley through hands-on campus partnerships like Goodness Village, a tiny-home community for unhoused neighbors, and Eden Garden, which donates thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local food banks. These practical initiatives provide immediate, meaningful support to local families in need. Getting plugged in is easy for any age, whether through seasonal Community Nights, year-round Connect Groups, or engaging kids and student programs. If you're looking for a thoughtful, service-minded church home in the Bay Area, give CW a try. You may just come back again and again.

One of my favorite things about Celebration is that Pastor Larry teaches the whole counsel of God…read more A second thing is that he and the congregation are courageous. This was demonstrated during Covid when every church shut down after being told it would only take a few weeks to stop the spread. When it was clearly not working Celebration decided to open up it's doors after 6 weeks. To the best of my knowledge it was the only church in Alameda County that opened it's doors. Side note - Celebration experienced a fairly low rate of Covid cases and zero deaths. Ultimately after several years of attempting to sue both the Church and the Pastor into oblivion, 'the gates of Hades' didn't prevail. The scriptures teach us to obey the government and it's leaders at all times--but not if that means we would have to disobey God. I believe the command to not 'forsake' the assembling of the Church is what this points to. I thank God for the courage and obedience He gave Pastor Larry during that difficult time. (-:

In the 6 years we've been members here, we've grown so much in our walk with God both individually and as a family as we have so many opportunities to express our faith. They provide options to volunteer from their homeless showers and breakfast ministries and AWANAs to their Live Drive Through Nativity to name a few. Our dear Pastor Bill, whom we prayed for and waited two years to meet, has truly been an answer to prayer. We're so grateful for his calling to Trinity! God's timing is always perfect. Not long after he and his family arrived, our own family went through a sudden, personal crisis, and his unconditionally loving, persistent responses have proven to us God does hear our prayers. He sent the right person at just the right time for this tough job by loving us through it all! We saw a glimpse of Jesus in Bill's kindness and patience. He continues to check in on us, which is so encouraging. The members of this church also joined with him and we are so much stronger in our faith and love for God and Trinity as a result! Our members span the age gamut and that makes it a joy to be here! The spiritual mentorship program is such a blessing, especially for our kids! They recognize the importance of this biblical teaching (Titus 2). I could go on, but I'll end with this...Trinity Church and Pastor Bill STRIVE to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves. We are changing to be relevant to the needs of our community, however, this is being done without compromising on the scriptures in God's Word. With that said, I highly recommend them!!!
