My first time was with Michele, and I loved hearing her story and passion about creating a talented and calm space for her art. She is compassionate and great at serving her clients! Loved my hair after! It's really a wonderful, clean, and serene spot. The last two times I was with Ali, and I loved my hair each time! As a busy stay at home mom, I usually only get my hair done once in a while so having it look good for the long term is a must. The first time around I specifically came in bc I was getting some family photos done for the holidays. I had some long layers and balayage (I'll attach some of the family photos done by Alyssa Vanzo Photography so people can see!) Most recently I came in to get my hair darkened and shorter. Throughout the service, Lauren made me feel welcomed and made sure I was comfortable too. It was also nice when Emily (the owner) welcomed me and thanked me for visiting the salon too. I was blown away on how nice everyone was while I was there because nowadays that is hard to find. Lauren was so much fun to talk to while she was coloring my hair and I didn't feel like I was out of place at all which eased the nervousness when seeing a new stylist. I did, however, have another stylist do my 10-year-old daughter's hair and I thought it was a $50 cut wash and blow dry but was charged an extra $25 for 15 minutes over the hour mark "because her thick hair". My problem is that she did not even start my daughter's hair at our appointment time. So those extra 15 minutes shouldn't have been charged to me. It would've been nice if she mentioned the extra charge as well instead of just smiling and saying her hair is so thick as she continued to thin it. She did a great job on my daughter's hair but shouldn't start late to do someone's hair and then charge them extra time for going over the hour without asking if I want you to take the "extra time". It was just a bit frustrating.

I originally was going to get highlights and after talking about it with her she suggested ombre and I was so hooked on the idea! When she was done... It looked really uneven... but I don't like to complain or anything and she seemed so happy, so I figured it might look better when I can play with my hair and stuff... I got home and took pictures and it was WORSE than I thought! From the back the blonde was diagonal, on the left the blonde started at my ear and on the right it was below my shoulders. It was SO terrible I wanted to cry. Sunday last minute I got an opening with Erica and thank GOD she was available. She made sure to talk to me about everything she was thinking of doing and the final product was AMAZING! I'm SO happy with my hair and I get so many compliments.
