I listened in as the attendant was working with the previous client, when it comes to a woman going into a maintenance shop there is that stigma with women and car shops. I'm always on alert when I'm at a car shop because mechanics have been known to overcharge women. When it was my turn I had said i was there for my appointment, but the massive American flag outside is what made me ask this question. I had asked if this was a locally owned shop which they agreed but I asked what their stance is on the climate of the country and they said they all have different stances. As a veteran who served this country I don't feel comfortable giving my money, my car or the belongings in my car to this shop. Or leaving my car unattended with them. I stated this, and this attendant started telling me about this and that. I don't care. I care about my community, and if my money is going to the right places.
