    It comes with a lifetime warranty which they refuse to honor. Mine with out OVER three weeks ago. I've been messaging them DAILY for OVER three weeks with no replies.

    Would highly recommend Trimlight Chicago. They did an amazing job. So happy to never need a ladder again and so many compliments!

    Pool cage lights and landscape lights

    I can not say enough about my Trimlight experience. From the beginning to the end was excellent!! The front office was professional and friendly and scheduled a quote very quickly. Zach explained the trimlight installation and quote in detail. He answered all our questions. The installation crew was the best of the best. This is where the nitty gritty happens, and Mike is the man you want to handle the details. Beyond extremely courteous and customer oriented, he oversaw every minute detail. If there was any question at all about the installation, he made it right and right at that moment!!! Caleb was just as precise in his detail work on the pool cage lights. He talked to us about what he was doing before he started, so we had a say in exactly where the lights were placed. He had great insight into the product and helped us with aesthetics. Caleb's assistant (Alex?) was also incredibly helpful. Any question I had, he answered and was expertly handling the burying of cables to make sure they were not to shallow due to lawn service. These men are the heart of Trimlight. They are the face of the company, and they were incredible!!!! Our lights are exquisite to look at and we couldn't be happier with the look and feel of our home. Thank you for your great service, courteous manner, and attention to detail that you would give your own family and home!

    I don't write reviews often, but I felt an obligation to write this one so anyone considering Trimlight will know what they are getting into. The initial communication with Trimlight was excellent. I had the lights installed in April and I got the "after-holidays" discount. The lights look beautiful. The app leaves a lot to be desired, but it works a majority of the time with minimal glitches. The Trimlight box (which houses all the electrical components needed to control/power the lights) is very loud when the fan turns on. Now onto the issue. About a month ago, the power to our house went out. When it came back on, a section of our Trimlights was permanently on and blue (see the pics attached). I attempted to soft restart, hard restart, and factory reset to fix the lights. Nothing worked, so I contacted Trimlight. The technician was fast and came out the next day. He said the only way to fix the lights is to physically climb up to that section; however, he did not have a ladder long enough to reach it. He texted me that he had to talk to his boss to figure out what equipment they can use to access the lights. Completely understandable. Two days went by with no word from the technician, so I reached out to him asking for an update. He didn't remember my situation and asked for my name (even though he could have just scrolled up to see the conversation history). He tells me his boss is still trying to think of a solution. Five more days go by with no word, so I reach out again. The technician tells me no solution has been found, but that he is meeting with his boss later that day to talk about it. I text the technician the next day to see how the meeting went, and he tells me they found a ladder long enough, but he needs extra hands to help with the ladder. He says he they will swing by "tomorrow sometime" to fix it. Surprise - they don't show up. He doesn't even text me to tell me they won't show up and he doesn't answer my text when I ask him if they can come over the weekend. So I text him the following Monday asking him for a commitment on when the issue will be fixed and I also offer to talk to his boss just in case I'm barking up the wrong tree. He ignores both requests and just repeats that they are waiting for extra people to help with the ladder. I tell him that it has been 2 weeks since he initially came out and I don't want it to be another 2 weeks until the issue is fixed and ask if it will be fixed sometime this week. No response. This was 8 days ago. Turns out the issue being fixed in 'another 2 weeks' was wishful thinking. Trimlight has dropped the ball and seems to have lost it. This is no way to run a business, and I regret choosing Trimlight over Jellyfish and the other competitors I had in mind. I chose Trimlight for their lifetime warranty, but that doesn't mean much if getting them to fix an issue is near impossible. Better communication and follow-through from the technician would have made a huge, positive difference with this experience. Instead, I've been left in the dark because the technician always eventually stops responding. I'm unsure when the issue will be fixed, but until then the lights will remain on wasting energy and money. You might be wondering why I don't unplug the system; it is because they need the lights on to fix the issue and I may not be home to turn the lights back on when they finally come. I just hope the lights are fixed before my daughter's 5th birthday party. If not, I guess we'll just have to celebrate with pretty flashing lights with a section of ugly, stagnant blue. I hope this review sparks some urgency on their end, but I'm ready to be disappointed yet again - and so should you if you make the mistake of choosing Trimlight. TL;DR Pros: -The lights are beautiful and the kids love them. -Great initial interaction with quick responses Cons: -System fan is extremely loud. -After-install tech support is atrocious -After-install communication is greatly lacking
