They have some fun holds too (aka baby heads LOL) Clean, well air conditioned so that it's not musty even when it's crowded. Expansive gym area and even a slack section! Parking is decently easy as it shares a lot with other businesses, especially if you come when those stores close, in our case at 6:30PM on a Wednesday. I opt for the 7 punch pass bc it comes out to ~$28 per visit and it's good for a year.

It has an outdoor area with a tightrope, an indoor power-lifting space, and gymnastics rings and equipment. Aesthetic & Ambience: 10/10 the aesthetic is simple; there to do exactly what you need. The ambiance is great cause it's safe and communal it's a fitness gym in fountain valley so it's a younger more active crowd. Climbs: 10/10 the climbs are awesome! A lot of variety from intro to v10+! When they change the climbs they don't rate them for a little to give the excitement of unknown. Gym: 9/10 many may not like this gym as there's very minimal machines including cables, but there are dumbbells up to 100lbs and plenty of squat/bench racks! You can get your first lesson/entry free! Just make sure to sign up on the website ahead of time

I found Smoke & Mirrors Fitness on MindBody app while I was looking for an Aerial studio. I loved…read moregoing to aerial classes prior to the pandemic butt many of my favorite spots went out of business. I was so excited I purchased their New Client Special that wasa 5 Pack of classes for $99. It was only valid for a month. I reserved the Aerial Silks class on a Tuesday evening. Per the usual new studio first visits, arrive a little early to sign their waiver. I arrived about 15 minutes early and there was no staff at the front. There was a bunch of unfilled and filled waivers. Red flags leaving their customer's private personal data laying around like that. I filled out a form but kept it with me until I can hand it to staff. It was a mess of girls rushing out from the prior class and girls rushing in for the next class. Total chaos. I put my things away in a cubby and stood around until some authority person came along. I prefer the studios where you get your own silk, but at this studio they will have you share silks with other students. They divided us into a group of beginners, and another side for the intermediate and advanced students. We started off with stretches. They are super elegant and stretched with grace here. Good form. Then when we began, the instructor would give us a few steps at a time to work on, then we would piece multiple steps together. When I asked the instructor if she can help me take photos she was too busy and told me to ask another student. I paid the studio, not random students who are strangers to me. It might have been fun with a friend but I did not enjoy going alone. Especially when there's stranger armpit sweat on the fabric. Not enjoyable at all. I actually walked out before the end of class cause I was so over it. I considered coming back to another class to use the sessions I pay for. However their class times are limited. Maybe only 2-3 classes after work, but some of those classes are advanced classes or classes I don't have an interest in. While deciding on my rating for this place... a 3 didn't seem like a good fit cause a 3 is average. If it was average I would have at least came back to use the classes I paid for. As someone who goes to a fitness studio for work outs 3-4 days a week, I literally just abandoned the package I paid for and went to another studio where I enjoyed my work outs. To each their own. This place provides niche classes not every studio offers. However the classes are limited and I don't enjoy sharing space with strangers.

The parking…read moreis easy and abundant, there are plenty of crash mats, and they have a water fill up station!! It shocks me how many pole studios view that as optional. If people are sweating, you should have water readily available IMO. Aside from these basic necessities, the studio is gorgeous. The poles are tall and all the ones I've tried have decent spin and seem fairly new. There's instructors here seems kind and I like that there are advanced beginner classes so you can level up from beginner before intermediate/advanced. I only wish they were a little less expensive but I like that they offer deals for new students. Hope to keep coming back here to continue my pole journey.

It also had quite a bit of charm with the string lights & fire pits. Todd (the host) was super accommodating and was quick to respond to any question I had. Everyone had a great time and kept complimenting the space and all the activities that were made available there! We will definitely be booking this venue again in the near future!

This venue provides that and then some. We spent over 8 hours here and not a single child wanted to go home. Whether they were climbing the rock wall, shooting baskets on the mini hoop, ping pong or just playing in the tents setup there is fun for kids of all ages. There are so many amenities on this property from bbq pits, refrigerator, coolers a bar for eating and drinks. A stage with karaoke mic if you're party is taking it to the next level. So many at the event asked about how we found the place. I'm sure this isn't the last time we'll be here, for a friends party or another one of our get togethers....it's that special!

The pool is useless if you are serious swimmer. Frequently 90°, I'm overheating after 300 yards. This pool is for geriatrics and kids. Also for their pool parties but not for real swimmers. Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it. When I answered, the hiring manager(I assume, she didn't bother introducing herself) conducted a phone screening but came across as impatient and condescending throughout the conversation. Many of my answers were met with responses such as "umm, okay," which made the interaction feel dismissive and unprofessional. I understand that recruiters are often busy and screening many candidates, but first impressions matter. Regardless of whether someone is hired, applicants deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect.
