He was VERY responsive on getting back to my initial inquiry, and was speedy in our communication to find a time for him to come out. His price was fair, and within a few minutes he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it. Then tuned up the lawn mower, sharpened the blades, and got it ready for Spring. What was great was that had I not been able to be home, he would have still been able to do the work. I could have just left the lawn mower out and he could have fixed it while I was out. I'll DEFINITELY use him in the future to fix/tune up my mower. Highly recommend!

He offered to sell us a zero-turn that he had fixed and took the $200 that we had already paid off the final price. Great right? No, we ran three times then it went out. After contacting Herman, it took time and time again for us to contact him to come take a look. He finally did and said he would drop another engine on it. This was in October. We were consistently reaching out via Thumbtack and text messaging to schedule a time for him to fix the issue. I had sent a message stating that since it was winter and close to the holidays, we could hold off until it warmed up. HE replied stating he would reach out at the first of the year. On Feb 28, we sent a message, no response. I text the week before March 12, no response. I called and he said he would be out the week of March 12 to do it. Didn't come and made no contact. My husband reached out a week later, he said he was in Florida and he would have a friend come do it. No one showed up or called. We are now at March 30 with other messages sent, and still no contact. We trusted him as a return customer, and now we are out $900 (outside the $200 we already paid for repairs) and a mower that does not work.

He said he would return with the part the next day as he would be in the area. I tried for 2 months to connect with him with calls and texts. He never replied to the texts except for the final one where I told him I would get the part on my own and I was disappointed in his followup. Then he called and made it out like he'd never heard of my attempts to reach him. I know he is busy with work, but no one is that busy to be able to miss 2 months of texts and calls.
