For seeing me so late in the afternoon on a Friday, I would say he has quite a bit of positive energy flowing through him. I don't usually go to him for my medical issues but my regular medical provider (Jennie Cossman, PA-C from One Medical Group) was out of the office so I almost felt like I was cheating on her. But, don't worry, Jennie, I will come back to you. He has not stolen me away. ;) So although Steven/Steve would throw out a few medical terms (ones that I probably gave him a strange look with), he went back and made it so I could understand what he was saying. And it wasn't a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am kind of appt. He listened and responded. Woot woot! Overall, a very friendly, energetic and talkative (not chatty and irrelevant but one that will have a non-tangential conversation with you) guy. I will be sure to ask for him if Jennie is away from her office again. P.S. Did I mention that I snagged this appointment the same day, just 4 hours shy of the appointment? Thank you, One Medical Group!

I had a failed right shoulder replacement in FL in 2014. Major pain from the day of the operation…read more I was told to give it time and it would be fine. I endured 4 years of non stop pain ranging from 4 - 8 in the scale. I slept in a recliner much of the time. A 4/2018 sleep study revealed that my chronic fatigue was due to my right shoulder pain and that I needed to get that issue resolved. I met with three shoulder specialists and they were very concerned about the revision. The fear was that the bone would shatter and that we would need to have a cadaver donor available as well as a possible graft from my hip. The potential of infection was high. Ultimately, the third shoulder Dr. I saw said "This is above my pay grade. I only know one Dr. that can perform this operation, Jim Kelly. I studied under him and he is a magician in the operating room. He does things I have never seen before and have never seen since." I conferred with another shoulder Dr. who had worked under Kelly and had previously performed arthroscopy on the shoulder and he said "The highest praise I will ever get is that I am as good as Jim Kelly." Dr. Kelly performed a reverse shoulder replacement on 8/28/2018. I woke up in recovery with NO pain and I have not had ANY pain since that day. Unbelievable!!! I am afraid to wake up and find this is a dream! I am now riding my bike, shooting clay targets, fly fishing, etc. and SLEEPING! I have had almost complete range of motion from the day of the operation and never needed therapy. It is 6 months since the operation and I started physical therapy to build up my shoulder muscles to protect the good work that Dr. Kelly performed. I am 77 years old and nobody has ever done anything that has positively impacted my quality of life as much as Dr. Kelly. I thank God, Dr. Kelly (and others) in my prayers every night,

He does drive-by exams only says hello (some times) looks at your injury, says a few words and leaves. I read his post op report and maybe not many patients read them, but one of the threads broke during surgery. So instead of 3, only 2 threads were used to reconstruct. I asked him to speak more on what happened so that I can understand and feel assured about the integrity of my surgery. Instead he was very defensive and rattled off his experience and how many procedures he's done. Never answering my question. Post op care: after surgery he just bailed. Never saw him after I woke up to tell me how it went. He didn't even call my partner who was taking me home to tell him how everything went. Staff was confused said he was supposed to call. He never did. I have a secondary injury on my shoulder from my accident and all he can say is PT, deadpan response. Not helpful. 2 months post op my shoulder still hurts and never did he give me a PT referral for my shoulder. Only got one for my elbow for occupational therapy. Something is clearly wrong with my shoulder too. I guess I'll have to go see someone else for this if he can't be bothered to explain what's going on. Unreal and ridiculous. If you are a patient that likes to be educated to make informed decisions about your health, this doctor isn't for you. Still in rehab from surgery and staying diligent with PT so will see how much range I get back from surgery. I have had great care with other doctors at CA Pacific Orthopedic, so I am shocked how my experience is this time around. If you need elbow and shoulders, see someone else in that group. Disappointing.

From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were professional, courteous, and welcoming. The office itself is beautifully designed with a modern, polished feel. During my consultation, Dr. Besh took the time to clearly explain my condition and the details of the procedure in a respectful and professional manner. He was efficient, direct, and informative, which I greatly appreciated. I also needed a note for taking a semester off from school, and the office provided it promptly without any difficulty. Although I have not yet had the surgery and will provide an update afterward, my experience so far has been very positive, and I would confidently recommend this office. Thank you to Dr. Besh and the entire team for such a strong first impression. Ali "Shawn " H.- Olyaie

Dr Philip Krueger saved my life…read more In 2011, when I was 22 years old, a mass was discovered in the soft tissue above the T10 vertebrae of my spine. After several tests it was determined to be an encapsulated tumor, that was causing me severe back pain. Dr Krueger removed it and sent it to be tested in Seattle. It was determined to be non-malignant. Dr Krueger told me to continue surveillance, and in 2012 the tumor reoccurred in the same location, this time closer to my spine. The second tumor was mostly encapsulated, but it started a small root into the T10 process. At this time the cancer was reclassified as a malignant chondrosarcoma. These type of tumors do not respond well to chemotherapy or radiation, and require surgical removal of the tumor and a perimeter of tissue around the tumor. Dr Krueger scheduled an emergency surgery, and with the assistance of a spine surgeon, Dr David Jackson, he removed the tumor, my T9 spinal process, and fused my T9-T11. 9 years later I have not had any reoccurrence, and my mobility is great. I of course have some aches due to the hardware on occasion, and a slight hunch due to loss of some of the muscles in my spine from the margin that needed to be cut away, but because they were so aggressive with the procedure the cancer was banished from my system. Not only was Dr Krueger a talented surgeon, but he had a great bedside manner. He was empathetic, kind, and listened patiently to my questions, and addressed my concerns. I'm incredibly grateful for the life I have been able to live since the operation. I have since married, had the opportunity to travel, have a career in public service, and in 2020 gave birth to a daughter. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to have a future. They know what I'm talking about. I met him when my lower back got dislocated, he fixed it. Yeah, it's a chiropractic job and any chiropractor can fix it too, but I had other issues after that. I was suffering for a pain in my left knee for two months, my friends said "It's arthritis." I didn't go to my medical doctor, I went to see him instead. He taught me how to do some stretchings for my knee, and the following day, the pain went away. Months ago, I thought I had breast cancer symptoms because my breasts hurt that even my t-shirt that touched them made me scream. I was suffering for 10 days. I went to see my doctor, and she said that everything was alright, so I decided to try Dr. Hingel. He did some stretchings on my arms and as soon as I got up, my 10-day suffering and freaking out on breast cancer got wiped out just like that. I was so relieved! I took my friend to Dr. Hingel last night because she's been suffering from her left knee pain and having a difficult time walking, sleeping, and standing. She's been in pain for about three weeks. Her doctor said she needs to have an MRI. I told her not to yet until he sees Dr. Hingel. I finally encouraged her to go and she went. This morning I went to see and checked on her. She hugged me and said she never had a good sleep in weeks until last night, and she cried because her pain was gone. If you don't have any insurance, invest some money for your own health. My mother is wheelchair-bound due to a physical disability and relies heavily on proper support. Upon discharge from the hospital, Dr. Mayle refused to provide an order for physical therapy, which was necessary for her to be admitted to a skilled nursing facility. Instead, she was discharged home without any support in place. We hoped that during her follow-up appointment, the office would provide the referral, but they continued to refuse.
