I highly recommend Dr. Gorelik's office. Very welcoming and professional. My hygienist, Marissa, is awesome, nice to talk to and does a great job, and you can watch Netflix! read more

Def love this place. Place was very clean and staff was extremely friendly. Dr. Niki did an amazing job and didn't make me wait when I arrived. The awesome part was she didn't even try to up sell or ripe me off with extra services. She explained the whole issue w the chipped tooth which I've had 3 times and will now have her do my veneers !! Thanks Dr Niki!!!! Highly recommend Trident Dentistry and Dr. Niki! ! read more

This is an amazing dentist office! They do a very thorough job and are very friendly.

I had very bad dentists in the past, and developed a fear of dentists. Because of that, my teeth are a total disaster-- which makes me even more ashamed of going to a dentist. However, Dr. Gorelik has been unlike any of my past dentists. I never got a lecture, never got talked down to. When my temporary tooth broke today, I was able to get an appointment the same day, and she fixed it in an hour. She has a great working relationship with her oral surgeon, and both of their offices are pretty coordinated. Her office is clean, modern, and soothing. Everything here is designed for patient comfort. She is always reassuring and gentle. I would recommend Gorelik to anyone. Why take your chances with a mediocre dentist that may cheat you and give you such a horrible experience that you hide from dentists? It's not worth it, just go to the best, and get yourself taken care of. read more

From the moment I walked in and was greeted by reception, to the moment I left with gleaming teeth, I had a very good experience at Dr. Gorelik's office this morning. Once I was called to the back part, I was a bit surprised by the semi-open layout. But once I got past the shock of that and realized that I would still have privacy, I could appreciate the collaborative and transparent atmosphere that it fostered. Her dental assistants are really great (although one accidentally hit me in the head with an instrument and didn't seem to notice... but I didn't feel her obliviousness deserved a lower rating for the entire establishment), the one who actually cleaned my teeth, Ivy, was very attentive, intuitive, competent, professional and friendly. And Dr. Gorelik was everything you could ask for in a dentist and more. Even if she'd had bad help (which she didn't - everyone in her office is great!), I'd still give her five stars because she's really amazing. Very personable, confident and good at what she does. She also explained everything she saw in the X-rays with me, which was great. Also, their equipment appears to be state of the art (the X-rays are digital, so less exposure, etc.), and I loved watching Netflix movies while my teeth were cleaned! I've had a lot of bad dentist and doctor experiences, so when I encounter someone who excels at what they do, I like to share the love! read more

My appointment was with Dr. Baum - though Dr. Gorelik was also very friendly and introduced herself to me when passing by once. All of the staff were incredibly kind and non-judgmental and they spent nearly 2 hours altogether with me (very little of that was waiting). What I appreciated most, however, was their capacity to show you exactly what is wrong with x-rays and images. I think that this really makes a difference in reinforcing behavioral changes such as dental hygiene habits, because they give you a lot of information that allows you to come to conclusions on your own. I have never had a fear of dentists, but I have certainly never had as good an experience as this. The Netflix was a bonus! read more

I was one of those people who was terrified of going to the dentist. As a result, my teeth suffered and were in need of major treatment. I never imagined the day where I would actually visit a dentist regularly and be totally ok with it. Dr. Gorelik and her exceptional staff at Trident dentistry have given me an absolutely beautiful, completely transformed smile. My dental problems were significant: I needed multiple teeth pulled, multiple implants placed and a host of root canals, along with other cosmetic work. First of all, nobody wants to go in for a route canal, but I can honestly say they were all so easy and painless. The root canal specialist, is very comforting, extremely efficient, and really takes the time to answer questions and explain the procedure. The exceptional level of care and compassion among the team at Trident is part of the reason I decided to take the time to write a review. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Gorelik. She is brilliant, kind, and possesses an outstanding work ethic - she will give you her best. She really cares about her patients. I have never gotten so many compliments about my "smile" until now. It's an incredible feeling! I can't forget how helpful and excellent the office staff is. They are always on time for me when I have an appointment and that is very important to me. Dr. Gorelik's assistant -Gigi, is fantastic. She goes out of her way to make sure I am satisfied, and takes excellent care of me every time I come in. Everyone is warm and friendly and it's a very positive environment. What other dentist office gives you a blanket in a massaging chair, puts on Netflix, and gives you headphones? If you don't have a dentist, or have not been to one (maybe because, like me, you've been nervous or apprehensive) -don't wait. Trust ME. Take my advice and go to Trident Dentistry. They will provide you with the finest level of care and service. You won't regret it! read more

I just had a root canal and new crown done. I was so nervous, then when the doctor explained to me the procedure and assured me there will be no pain, I felt better. After the procedure was completed, I couldn't believe it... "no pain" what so ever, even after I went home and the numbness went away still "no pain". I am very happy I found this Dental office, the Doctor and the staff are very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. Also this Dental office is very clean and they use high tech Dental equipment. read more

I had my 1st visit yesterday and i was pleasantly surprised. All their equipments are modern, clean work space and the STAFF is great. They explained everything they did. Front desk does not know how to process bills. I went to this office for 3 years which I spent at least $6000(root cannels, cavities). The office was good till one year ago. Previous front desk people knew (Lilly, Saundra) what they were doing, but new people (Henna) did not know what they were doing. They sent me wrong bills, forgot to call me back for a few times, and I had enough. Dr Gorelik was getting busy compared before, and felt like she did not do her job as well as before. Temporary filling always came off after a few days, and had to go back to get a new one every single time! It was very annoying. One day, she told me I had to do one more root cannel(I already did a few). I was very skeptical so I went to see a different dentist. It turned out I did not need one. If you just wanna go to cleaning, I think it's fine. However, if you wanna fix your cavities, root cannel, I don't think it's a good idea. The office itself is very clean. However, I will never ever go back there. read more

We couldn't possibly put into words the joy and happiness that we feel when we come to Trident Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. Very disappointed in her work and behaviors. My sister did a search on yelp and she told me about her. To make the long story short, I made appointment for cleaning which was fine. Then she told me that my recent X-ray at my other dentist are not the best quality so she proceed with full X-ray . After dental cleaning and full X-ray which with insurance cost me hundreds of dollars, I mentioned to her that one of my tooth is kind of sensitive sometimes it hurts and other times it's just fine. She looked at it and said the X-Ray is O.K. After I went back to her again complaining of the same thing she decide to explore , she removed the crown and right away said "oh there is nothing left under your crown ". Your tooth is completely decayed and you need a implant and she walked away to the next patient as I was still talking to her. I was shocked and upset after all I am only 45 years old, I have always taken a good care of teeth, never missed an appointment with the dentist and I have done cleaning every six months. I needed some explanation ....what does this mean? After I asked the assistant to call her back I need some clarification, she came back all bothered and said just go to somebody I know and he will take care of and told the assistant to put the crown back on my tooth. I wish she would take the time to explain what dental implant is and what are the steps that I have to take. Of course I was charged a big price tag for her rudeness and her diagnosis . I was given a referral paper to take to implant specialist . I made a appointment with him and when he was examining I noticed that he is looking at the other side of my mouth(opposite side of bad tooth), it took me a while to realize he is checking out the wrong tooth because Dr. Gorelik mark the wrong number on referral paper( Instead of tooth number 19 , she marked the opposite side) . I called the office and they had no apologies . If I was not aware of my complete problem they would have taken a CT scan of the wrong tooth. Her attitude and carelessness is unacceptable for anybody especially a dentist. read more

The staff and dentists are all very nice and professional with the exception of the billing woman that is in charge. She will over bill and over charge you ad nauseam. Never have I felt more betrayed by a doctor office. Only if they remove this person will I consider returning. And I so look forward to yet AGAIN having to argue over being blatantly miss charged. This time for $150 for a basic cleaning, which is covered by my insurance, because it was labeled as 'periodontal maintenance'. Last time she told me my cleaning was covered only to receive a steep bill later. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!! read more

Extremely disappointed. The people seemed friendly, and the office is slick, no doubt. But it's all a set up for massive upsells of unnecessary treatments. Going in for a routine cleaning, I was told my "treatment plan" was $1,300. I was shocked and immediately felt that I was being gouged, so I left without getting any cleaning done and found another dentist. Guess what? No "Perio laser" treatments needed (savings: ~$750), and no filling needed (savings: $250). I saved $1,000 by walking out of this place. They need to realize that patients are not ATM machines, and quit recommending unnecessary and ridiculously expensive treatments. read more

If you are considering Dr. Gorelik for porcelain veneers, please read this first! Everyone was super nice and would recommend for basic dentistry, but not if you want porcelain veneers. I didn't choose 3 stars only because of "a-ok." My teeth were a little crooked and since I didn't want to get braces and could afford veneers, I paid $6,000 to have my six front teeth done. I went to Dr. Gorelik based on her reviews and felt confident my money would not be wasted, however when I finally got the permanents put in I noticed how transparent they were and how thin they felt. The permanents one were so thin, you could see the faint outline of my real teeth behind them. Even though Dr. Gorelik assured me that was normal, I wasn't as happy as I thought I would be and became very self-conscious about showing my teeth when I smiled. A few months later I chipped my front tooth as I was eating and had to pay for a new one, however this timeI had it done by a different dentist. As soon as she put it in, I immedietely felt and noticed the difference. It was a richer porcelain color and more opaque, which hid the outline of my tooth underneath, even in direct sunlight. The difference between my two front teeth was so noticeably, even my friends commented on them. When I went back for my check-up, I asked Dr. Gorelik why they looked different and was shocked by her answer. She basically told me that the veneers she put in WERE MADE OF A DIFFERENT SUBSTANCE! I didn't want crown veneers, and even though I paid $1000 per tooth for porcelain ones, I always felt as if they were cheaply made. I don't know why I didn't get the opaquer ones in the beginning, but I'm glad I chipped my tooth and even gladder a different dentist put the new one in. Had Dr. Gorelik done my replacement, I believe she would've put just another cheaply made one (don't know if they really are cheaper, but they definitely look it). I was 22 when I had it done and am 24 now. To this day I still am not happy when I smile in the mirror, but simply cannot afford to pay another $5,000 to have the rest replaced. If you are considering going to Dr. Gorelik for porcelain veneers, I strongly recommend you ask about the different types she uses, especially if you are planning on paying $1,000 a tooth like I did. read more

Fear mongering dentistry- went twice, won't be coming back. First time they gave me such a bad perception of my teeth and really alarmed me. They way they put things was if i wasn't treated ASAP my life would be in danger and since my insurance didn't cover everything they asked me 900$ out of pocket. I was very concerned but felt that i needed a second opinion so I asked that they they re-schedule this treatment for later date(to which they were saying i needed to schedule as soon as possible). My suspicions were right when I was walking out and asked since i was gonna be for a long time out of home if i should go ahead and do it with another dentist in the place i was going to be. Their answer was "No, you can wait, and then you come back". I insisted, "if it's that urgent i will fix them in germany", and her reply was "you should fix them here, dentistry in germany is not to the same standards of quality as in USA". I am not german myself, but even I felt offended with such remark. Went to another dentist that checked and double checked me and he couldn't understand what they were talking about. Later they called me back for a checkup. I didn't know why, but I agreed to return. Maybe it was just sad coincidence the first time. On arrival, once again, they started talking to me like my life was in danger and that i needed to do procedures ASAP(she even mentioned that i might suffer from bone loss). They also suggested that I also need to do braces, something no dentist in my entire life ever suggested to me. I have been going to the dentist for about 30 years, been on dozens of different dentists over 5 different countries, and not even once one has ever even proposed such nonsense. Once I heard this I was like "ok, enough of this". Basically seems like they like to sell fear in order to get your wallet squeezed out. Everyone is nice to you on the surface, seem very concerned about you and your well being, but in truth i believe they are exaggerating things in order to squeeze more money out of you. read more

My Fiance and I both moved to L.A. recently and was looking for a nice dentist who could fix us up. I turned to yelp since we don't know anyone, and came across Dr. Gorelik's office. I called the office and Pam (manager) is a sweetheart. She is a doll and was so accommodating to getting our schedules set up together and working around us. She also let us know we could fill out the paperwork online, which meant no paper work when we got there. When we arrived, Pam greeted us and felt like we knew her forever. They also have in the waiting area, a nice computer setup, coffee, water, V8 juice. Def. felt very inviting. My fiance went in first and I followed shortly after. All in all, it took about almost 2 hours total with xrays and cleaning and all. I really enjoyed getting to watch a tv show while she cleaned my teeth.(i chose Friends) It really took my mind off everything. What was so surprising to me was that Dr. Gorelik had some free time and she actually cleaned my teeth. I have NEVER had a dentist clean my teeth. Its always been the hygienist, (who is also a doll!) She said that the hygienist could clean my fiances, and she would clean mine so we could leave together. I was so impressed by the fact that she didn't have that superiority factor that she was too good to clean teeth. Melissa finished up with the polishing of my teeth and we were all good to go. Honestly, one of the gentlest cleanings ever, and my teeth look wonderful. I am so glad to have found a dentist first go around here in L.A. OH and one really impt thing...she didn't try to sell me on anything! I have been to dentists that tell you need this or that (and I have fairly healthy teeth) but she was honest and upfront and said my teeth were fine. So I will stop rambling, but I highly recommend Dr. Gorelik and her office. There whole staff is amazing and you can tell customer service is their first priority. Pam, Josie, Melissa and Dr. Gorelik are too sweet! :) Oh the only thing that I don't like is you have to valet your car. They validate your first time parking, but I hate valeting period with anyone lol. I would much rather self park, but it was raining today and I didn't want to meter hunt lol. I am going to set up my appt for teeth whitening next week or so! read more

Over the years, I have been to many dental offices. I have had root canals, crowns, fillings, braces, smashed in teeth, pretty much the whole gamut of dentistry work. Most of these experiences were unpleasant, so I was very happy to find out about Dr. Gorelik's office. She recently replaced a filling that was done by another dentist, and was bothering me quite a bit. The experience was great, and the best part was that the pain was minimal, and my tooth no longer bothers me!I have also had my teeth cleaned at this office as well, and their staff was great. They accept my insurance too, so the prices were reasonable. read more

Another amazing experience with Dr. Gorelik! This time I had to replace two crowns to correct work done by a prior dentist...and wow! Such a different and awesome experience! (and who on earth says that when going to the dentist!!??). I was so nervous to have my temporary's because the last time I had temporary teeth it hurt SO BAD (reminder: that work was not completed by Dr. Gorelik!)...but this go around, the work completed by Dr. Gorelik has been pain free! My mouth does not have any pain when I breathe in EVER! So pleased! And I plan to continue to refer her out to family and friends!! Thank you Dr. Gorelik!!! read more

I had been going to a dentist for several years but wanted to make a change because it was a little far. So I looked at all the recommendations that Dr. Gorelik's office received and decided to try because I can practically walk there. I was treated by Dr. Nikou Zarabian (Nikki) and have nothing but good things to say. The couple of negative reviewers I read are full of it. I had a cleaning and X-Rays and subsequent crown and filling done a couple of days later. Dentistry is not cheap but I found the cost reasonable. The office is clean, everyone is exceptionally friendly and I have never had a crown completed in one sitting. They even lowered the cost because they didn't have to do as much build-up as they thought. Dr. Nikki called me later in the day to check if I was O.K. Oh, by the way, you can watch Netflix throughout the process. That keeps your mind off everything and passes the tim. I would highly, highly recommend Trident Cosmetic & Family Dentistry and Dr. Zarabian. And I am extremely picky. read more

Finally found my dentist! You feel instantly comfortable with Dr. Gorelik. Everyone at the office is professional, the office is clean, organized, and Dr. Gorelik is extremley knowlegable and great at what she does. I'm not sure of the name of the dental computer program they use, but it is amazing. It not only shows you the pictures of your X-Rays, but it reads the dentin levels in your teeth detecting cavities and how deep they are into the tooth itself on a technical level beyond what the human eye can see. They also have a tiny scope/camera that shows you your teeth and gums up close on the monitor so you can see every tiny detail all the way to the back teeth. She explains in detail everything to you and the reasons as to why things are. I was also very happy with the work she has done. Plus parking is very easy. There are tons of 2hr meters on the side streets that are cheap. Much better than the parking by my last dentist in beverly hills. read more

Best dentists I have ever been to. Forget the fact that they offer Netflix and have the newest equipment. What counts for me is knowledge, execution, cleanliness of the office and professionalism. Dr Gorelik and Dr Niki (and the entire staff) excel in all. They deeply care about their patients and make a dentist visit as pleasant as one can be. I had no need to switch dentists at all having a great relationship with my mine but I work in the West LA area and kept hearing about Dr. Elaine Gorelik and Trident's great reputation from my own clients. ...well after hearing flawless reviews from people I trusted, I decided to make my next cleaning visit with Trident and I'm sooooooooo happy that I did. The second I walked in I was greeted by many very nice people including Dr. Elaine, while being offered refreshments, then was assisted in filling out the form electronically on their own computer in the waiting area, parking was easy, and was seen right away. Dr. Elaine introduced herself to me and she go to work immediately on reviewing my teeth. They have state of the art equipment that made me feel very comfortable when I was showed things in my mouth and teeth through their pen camera that I never saw anywhere else and I got full explanations of what everything was and was able to ask all my questions. After seeing dentists for 30 years, this was the first time I actually learned something about dentistry and my own situation. After the exam was done, I had my cleaning done which also was stellar. The hygienist was gentle, professional, very attentive to my needs, and even adjusted my headphones and helped me pick the Netflix program I wanted to watch. Oh, did I mention FREE Netflix while getting your teeth cleaned is SUPER AWESOME? The process was so smooth and seamless that I was even falling asleep during the cleaning because I was so relaxed. After the cleaning, I decided to get my teeth whitened (and no one 'sold' me or pressured me, my idea) which for someone with sensitive teeth could be painful but it went wonderful!! Frontdesk people are inefficient. I gave them the dental insurance info more than a month ago to double check if services I need are covered, which I already know the answer to, but I just also want to confirm with them. Day before the appointment, they don't have info. I called insurance & verified coverage, but frontdesk told me I DO NOT have any coverage. I called insurance 2 more times, and each time they gave me a list of coverage. Finally, I asked the receptionist to call the insurance instead of calling me back like she told me she will do, I had to call her back. This time, she said I am covered but she was given false information earlier by the insurance. The manner she talks is not acceptable. "I TOLD YOU. I ALREADY TOLD YOU" like she was getting pissed. If she did her job, I she would not have confused me & would not have had to doubt information she was giving me. She was blaming my insurance, but it was obvious she was just lazy. I had to press her to call and verify with my insurance & she had more than a month to do this. Nevertheless, I cancelled my appointment. Not gonna go to a dentist with crappy front desk people. read more

Dr. Gorelik is off-the-charts amazing. If we could give her more than just 5 stars, we would. Last Friday night, my husband accidentally ran into our sliding glass door...HARD...(yes, take a moment to let that sink in and laugh and maybe judge him just a little bit for it.)...the impact knocked his front tooth out and left him stunned. Saturday morning, we started the search for a dentist who could help us out right away. We found Dr. Gorelik on YELP and decided to give her a try. It turned out that her office is only open on select Saturdays, so she was closed...but I decided to leave a voicemail on her emergency line to let her know the situation, and to see if either she could help us out or if she could refer us to someone she trusted. I felt so bad calling her on a Saturday morning at 8 am on her day off...but she called us back in less than half an hour and told us she would open up her office just for us since it was an emergency situation. We went in at 10 AM. The office was easy to find, parking was ample, and her office was professional and clean and up-to-date. Dr. Gorelik was SO very helpful. She explained everything that she was doing and let us know all of our options. She ended up putting in a temporary tooth until we could get in to the oral surgeon, and the temp looked PERFECT (seriously, you can't even tell it's a temp it's so perfect!) My husband was able to watch shows on netflix instant overhead while Dr. Gorelik worked on his tooth (or lack there-of) so he was pleasantly distracted from everything. He said it didn't even hurt. Dr. Gorelik helped make a very difficult situation easier to deal with. On Monday, as promised, her office called to give us the info for the oral surgeon. He'll be going back to her to finish out the tooth once the implant is put in, and I'm going to go in for my dental work as well. Honestly, I am terrified of dentists and she was just so great that I WANT to go. Best. Dentist. Ever. We'll be recommending Trident Dentistry to all of our friends and family (and that means something considering we even have a dentist in our family!) read more
