During process of meeting with contractors, so many characters gave us estimates that were either scarily low, or inflated. Mike and Jay' s rate was fair, and their work is second to none. They were reliable, honored their word, and never cut corners on build quality. Since our house was originally built in the late 40s, they came across some structural issues that really concerned us.. Mike and Jay were understanding to our dilemma and were able to "shore-up" load bearing walls while being always fair with their rate. It was a huge stress relief to know they were on the job and staying within their estimate. Even long AFTER they finished, I had an issue with one of smoke detectors they installed and the same day, they went to home depot and exchanged it for a new one. It's rare to find high quality, great service and fair price in one company, but Fleming Construction nails it. Our home addition was expertly built and we'd highly recommend Mike Fleming Construction!

This has been a long time coming, and I am not one to put a business on blast but it's time. We had…read morethe worse work done by Buso Remodeling out of Clay. My family and I put our trust in a person that claimed that he knew what he was doing and absolutely did not. It has been an on going process that took a month for this company to completely destroy my home. This man claimed he was one of the best contractors and said he knew it all and how to do it all. The very simple projects in my home turned into an absolute disaster. He left two jobs completely unfinished on top of completely ruining the integrity of my home and the structure of my floors. What contractor doesn't know that you can't cut out main support beams in the floor without having something to replace them or insure that the floor is still stable underneath. Well this guy didn't and completely made my home unsafe not only for me and Austin, but for my three year old, to live in. Once this was all brought to our attention by the code enforcer, he was shut down to no longer work in my home until he had the proper plans to fix all his mistakes, and by mistakes I mean dozens of different code violations in the floor alone that's not even including the other room he started and NEVER finished. This was the final straw for us. We met with the owner and tried to come up with a plan to make this right and go the best way with fixing the mistake that he had made, we were trying to be as fair as possible and come to a conclusion. It was very apparent that we needed to hire someone else to come in and make it right because this contractor could not come up with a plan to fix his work. Even after coming up with the decision to hire someone else and talking to him he said he wanted to be fair and civil and there were no hard feelings and he would come up with a price to return back to us to fix his ungodly damage. After a week of waiting he sent us an email starting that he was not going to return even a fraction of our money but instead take the 15,500.00 deposit we paid him and completely ran. Who does this when you've ruined someone's home. Well Buso Remodeling does, so beware of this scam artist, who says he's a contractor. He ruins your home, takes your money and runs. He has done this to multiple home owners in our area and continues to do business. Something needs to be done. This was not supposed to be this complicated, take this long, or cost this much money. It has burdened my family to a high degree and we just want justice.

I looked first at two advertised roofing companies. The first you see all over. M Quick to quote but definitely inexperienced as the quote included roofing a plastic Rubbermaid shed. (Seriously) Thank you Adam owner of CNYCC for pointing that out. The second on was also higher priced and charged too much for plywood (like double for the same size. Adam was recommended by my best friend who had CNY put on a brown roof which looks great on his house. CNYCC came over explaining the job and looking closely at details such as my outdoor porch. They stood in communication with me. (Text are sent only after they have your permission. So the one bad reviewer needs a lesson on spam texting and the proper use of email and communication ) Give them time to get to you in the spring and summer. We had them come out in the winter. It's definitely worth the wait. They also saved up money over those other two companies. This is family friendly and run business. Paige, Adams wife was wonderful. She kept me informed help me through the financing process, and her communication was outstanding. She told me exactly when they would be coming out to do my roof and they showed up that morning to the exact time she said. Adam gave me an explanation of what they did and how they would proceed that day, which was another reassurance of our previous conversation, so I was completely comfortable. He said one day to take off my old roof and replace any plywood. I didn't believe it. But came 5pm and my wife coming home from work that night and we had a completely new roof with new plywood in places we didn't see at first were bad until Adam showed us on our home. Thank you so much! His crew was so professional. Any nails were picked up with a magnetic roller. I didn't see any in the lawn for my tractor to puncture a tire, which was incredible. Thank you again!! I only saw a few come out of the gutter (that is too be expected). I had my house washed a week after and really have to say the Biscayne Blue on our house has had neighbors complimenting as they noticed an immediate difference. We are so pleased and have complete peace of mind knowing that the investment we made has a warranty we can pass down to our children and labor covered for longer than any other company and is covered even if CNYCC is not available. Ask Adam to explain. He also helped to make our porch, which is our pride and joy, look so much better doing some finishing work after the new plywood was put on per our conversation which in our opinion was going way above and beyond. He definitely knows his craft. John his foreman helped too to make it happen. If he only did landscaping, and about another dozen projects. Thank you again CNYCC!

However, it was odd to not receive a confirmation email, electronic receipt, text or phone call to check in between the time I ordered it and the drop off. I had to call back and make sure it was set to be delivered the following morning, and had to confirm a time. They do give a window for the dumpster drop off, but it arrived right at the beginning. Best part- you don't have to be there when they come to pick it up as long as you've followed their guidelines!
