I was referred to Tri-County by a leading hearing aid company. My previous experience with purchasing hearing aid was nothing short of disappointing. I understood going in that purchasing a reliable and quality hearing aid was going to be expensive, but that company was anything but professional, looking only for the money, putting me into an inferior product that did not last three years for a ridiculous price. So, knowing I was in real need I reluctantly made an appointment with Tri-County. Upon meeting with Mark Silver I was pleased and comfortable with his professionalism. He performed the audiology test, which confirmed I was in dire need and then began explaining options and devices. It was reassuring to understand they did not represent only one brand and certainly with one I had previously. Plus, and most importantly, he directed me toward a plan with my existing health insurance that saved me a substantial amount of money. That was surprising. They arrived three days later and I was fitted. What an amazing transformation. I was able to hear sounds I had not hear since youth and with clarity. Plus, they had many features I had not expected, such as answering my phone and listening to music through the hearing aids via my phone. Mark spent time explaining usage, features, care, etc and sent me on the way a happy man. Amazing considering I entered with a sour attitude toward hearing aid providers. read more
