McKenney Chiropractic only wants your money and/or reasons to bill your insurance! They manipulate patients with their lengthy first visit exam and X-rays, which takes over 2 hours! This was completely ridiculous and unnecessary, especially when my care was routine maintenance (no accidents and no injuries). After the first exam, they require a "consultation"; whereas, they attempt to manipulate you some more - by forcing you to watch a video of Dr. McKenney assuring you that they do not recommend treatment that isn't necessary (reverse psychology) and mindfuck you to believe they are looking out for your best care. Then they give you a lame folder with a laminated card with your name and papers - outlining chiropractic bull shit. Oh yeah, and they give you a bag with their business name, so you can be a walking advertisement for them (sneaky marketing scheme, lol).
I am very healthy and like to have routing adjustments as needed, since I exercise and work out regularly. However, they will continuously act like you need more and more treatments. I have to admit, this office has the "gift of gab" with staff acting like they care; but, take some time to look at your insurance bill, and you will see everything they bill your insurance for!!! You will also notice this office is more like a chiropractic sweat shop, and continuously overbooking patients - making patients wait for over an hour, just for a simple adjustment! WTF??!! Additionally, the doctor I saw - did the same basic and boring adjustment, even though I expressed different problematic areas when I came in multiple times a week (per the doc's recommendation). They don't give a shit about their patients care, and they only care about their income and numerous ways to bill your insurance. However, this office does win an academy award for their acting - as if they care. So fake.
I suggest going to The Joint chiropractic - they have numerous offices everywhere and don't waste your time with all of this bull shit and/or try to steal your money- and The Joint doesn't do insurance. The Joint is legit. read more
