Took my Siemens hearing aids to have them repaired. 10 days later I asked them to call Siemens and…read moreask when I could expect them to come back. - lo and behold 15 minutes later they called and said they just came in. Went in and tried them on and they didn't work. The remote still didn't communicate with the left hearing aid which is why I brought them in in the first place. I noticed that the ear cups were still yellowed from use and exposure to ear wax, which is pretty normal. You would think that having been sent in for repair they would have replaced the ear cups. I left with the hearing aids which still did not work and the next day I went back to Beneficial Hearing Aids where I originally purchased the aids. My person there questioned why the ear cups were dirty and asked me if this was how they were returned to me. She got on the phone and called Siemens repair dept. and gave them the 2 serial numbers of my 2 hearing aids. They said these aids had never been sent in to them for repair. Light bulb goes on. Now I know why the ear cups were dirty - THEY WERE NEVER SENT IN FOR REPAIR AND WHY WHEN I CHECKED THEY MAGICALLY CAME IN 10 MINUTES AFTER I CALLED- THEY WERE THERE ALL ALONG. What a scam. I called back and said I was p****d off. The front desk clerk they were in the back and he would tell them what happened and would I like to be called back. I really wasn't interested in talking to them, but based on what happened you'd think they would like to attempt to vindicate themselves. No call back I'd stay away from these thieves like the plague Their commercials portray a company that cares not rips you off. STAY AWAY, USE ANOTHER COMPANY. I sure wish those owners who appear in commercials will read this review and comment back but I highly doubt it will happen.

This is the first time that I have gotten hearing aids that worked. Having tried the OYC aids…read moreordered on line three times with no success I decided to try Lake Medical Hearing Center with Dr. Lamb. I could not be more pleased as she diagnosed my hearing issues, removed ear wax that nobody else detected or could professionally address. That alone made a huge difference The hearing test was more than listening to a few beeps so the resulting Rx for my aids was precise. I selected the rechargeable Resound BTE aids which have given me hearing that I had not experienced in many years plus they are pretty comfortable to wear. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Lamb at Lake Medical Hearing as she will take the time to professionally diagnose your hearing concerns and provide the follow up services to ensure your hearing is maintained.

I came here from another state where the audiologist was independent provider of all brands of…read morehearing aids. When I was making my decision, the audiologist told me of Starkey which was the only totally US made product they sold. Their line offered several levels of products and based on my needs a mid-priced product was recommended. Since moving to the Inverness area, I was looking for service for my Starkey product and found this local Audibel Office. Here James and Tammy staff the office. James is the audiologist and he tested my hearing to gauge my current level of hearing loss. I brought my hearing records provided to me before I moved. He checked my existing hearing aids. Later I had issues with one of my aids as it was immersed in water. They were returned to the corporate office for a complete check out. They were about three years old when they got damaged and used button batteries. The technician did not recommend repairing them as he could not provide me with the one-year repair guarantee based on the repair charge I chose when they were sent in. James recommended the newer rechargeable units based on my hearing correction needs. I decided on the model I could afford. Tammy assisted with the financing paper work and I set up a bill pay feature in my financial institution to pay each month for the interest free financing. This office has great staff and are available to answer any questions or test anyone who wants to be evaluated. I highly recommend this office for any Starkey products. I also recommend Starkey Hearing Aids as they fully stand behind their products. Dave R

After the conclusion of a very detailed test which was explained thoroughly, I was fitted with a demo pair. No more pain, no more ambient noise that was intolerable. Incidentally, when I posted a well deserved bad review of the previous provider I was lied to and attacked. Please do yourself a favor and see James at Audibel before you go through a year of hell and loss of funds like I did.
