I remember always passing by here so, I decided to drop it off at Sewell Lexus. I'm so glad, I did. I was treated like a queen. Let me explain. This Dealership is amazing. It is uniquely designed and very eye catching. They have a average size Front Desk Reception. The Lobby is lovely. They offer complimentary, Coffee, Sodas, Tea and Cookies. There are a few chairs to sit down and some desks to fill out your paperwork. They also have a Smart TV with a dynamic picture setting installed in the wall. The Christmas tree is up and lit and it is oversized and beautiful! Erik assisted me every step of the way explaining how insurance works, how long repairs take and what the process was like. He also ne also goty vehicle repaired in a shorter time frame. I received my vehicle in better condition than when I dropped it off. They washed my vehicle and vacuumed it and put all my stuff in my trunk nice and neat! They took my breath away! Ive never felt so good before. I was smiling so hard my cheeks were hurting.Lol. The Cashier blessed with some Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate and emphasize that repairs are a lifetime warranty! So, thankful, I took my SUV to Sewell Lexus of Fort Worth!

Unfortunately Carmax cancelled the reservation three times. Each time I had to call to have the reservation reinstated. Today, my sister-in-law drive from OKC to Fort Worth to see the car. I drove from Sugar Land Texas. Before Arriving at Carmax, I telephoned to advise I would be paying cash by wire transfer from my bank. After arriving at Carmax at 11:30 am today, my sister-in-law did a test drive and was ready to conclude the purchase. After a one hour wait, we were advised Carmax would not release the car if we paid my wire transfer. At 2:00 pm I arranged for my bank in Houston to issue a cashier's check at their Fort Worth branch. We were advised the local branch would be closing at 3:00 pm today. We returned to Carmax at 2:30 pm and handed them the cashier's check. They spent the next 20 minutes trying validate the check drawn on Merrill Lynch! Finally at 3:51 pm we were allowed to take delivery of the car. Only a 4 hour wait. This was my third purchase from Carmax and unfortunately my last.

FAMILY TOYOTA of BURLESON My Lexus was recently totaled…read moreafter I incurred two "no fault" accidents within 3 weeks of one another both caused by non-insured drivers. According to one of my adjusters (as I was dealing with two separate claims), that sort of thing doesn't usually happen! I wasn't planning on buying a new car for a few years as I'd had such good experiences with my last two Lexus vehicles. But it all changed when that last accident totaled three cars due to someone driving under the influence. And so began my search for the perfect new (or potentially used) car. I went to so many dealerships and test drove everything I thought I might like. Volvos, Lexus, Subaru, Mazda, Mercedes, BMW and Toyota to name a few. I called dealerships. I searched online. I had so many tabs open on my phone & photos saved that it was beginning to overwhelm me. I was disappointed and lied to by more than one salesman to be sure until I visited FAMILY TOYOTA in Burleson. My salesman was Dominic Gomez and how he changed my perspective of a car salesman! He was honest & upfront with me and genuinely cared about my needs, budget and concerns. He heard me out and was patient to the point of even setting up my phone with the Toyota App. When I was ready to buy my new Toyota BZ, he didn't flinch when I said I needed to drive the Toyota Crown "just to be sure" since I love a luxury car. In the end, I went with the new 2026 BZ Limited BEV (battery electric vehicle) as I just love the smooth ride, platform and trim (not to mention the huge savings by not buying gasoline)! The store's General Manager is Dustin and he was most accommodating & helpful, too. I was so impressed with the no pressure sales and how clean & organized this dealership is as well. I really can't say enough having been through so much these last two months as I did extensive research & was really losing hope until I walked into FAMILY. I had other car salesmen from premier dealerships literally lie to my face about prices but this didn't happen here. I have converted to Toyota as I was treated with total respect and left feeling confident in my purchase. Ask for Dom and tell him his new favorite customer sent you. You won't be disappointed that's for sure.

I bought a car here a couple months ago for around 8k, plus the salesman, a gray haired man in…read moreshorts advised me that due to the mileage on the 2008 Toyota, to also buy this extended warranty he highly "recommended", which would give me another 50,000 mile coverage for the whole drive train. When I say recommended, I mean pushed on us. My son had the car for about 50 days when he was driving home on the freeway at night. The car completely lost power. As in, it just quit. On the freeway. In the fast lane. He had to fight it to get it out of the lane of traffic into the emergency lane and not wreck. We had it towed to our family mechanic (Caliber Auto Care) who had never dealt with the warranty company before. This is how it started, our mechanic put a camera into the engine and discovered a HOLE in the engine, which was absolutely dry of any oil. As in dry for so long there is no way it wasn't like that when we bought it, and this is what our mechanic said. No way it was my son's fault. This 2008 Toyota had had an ENGINE recall that was never fixed. Hertel sold us a car with an ENGINE RECALL and didn't say a word about it so that WE could address it. That year's model Toyota had a manufacturer defect that caused the rubber seals to allow all the oil to leak out and cause... A rod to break off and puncture the engine. It threw a rod. Now this warranty company immediately requested we pay for the mechanic to drop the oil pan ($600). So we did. They finally sent an adjuster, who asked us to authorize and pay for the bottom oil pan to be dropped. Our mechanic explained that we didn't need to do that for him to see the hole, with the camera. The mechanic said he would never need to drop the bottom oil pan and that it was apparently the warrant company's way of chipping away at the cost and push it off onto us. Now we called Hertel and told them what had happened. They sold us a complete LEMON, and on top of that talked us into buying an extended warranty from a company with shady tactics. We were never told by the salesman that there was a cap on repair costs, only that they would cover the whole drive train for another 50k miles. Now, Hertel has just left us hanging with what amounted to an $11k (warranty and TTL) paper weight. That could have gotten my son in a bad car wreck. Do not trust this dealership. Most certainly do not buy the extended warranty plan they are PUSHING on you. They prey on working people here.

Only to be fed BS about me taking the car to Firestone and how they are only trying to gouge me out of money and to bring it back to him and he would take care of the issues. My wife wanted to give him the benefit and took the car back to him and spent 3 hours at his dealership while he "fixed" the issues. He begged me to remove the negative review because it was hurting his business, so I reluctantly did since the engine codes were no longer coming on for a few weeks. I took the car to the Chevy dealership down from his lot for an oil change and decided to have them do a full diagnostic only to find that EVERYTHING Firestone said the vehicle needed (except tires) is wrong with this vehicle and that K1's idea of "fixing" the issues was that of a shade tree mechanic with little to no actual certifications. So instead of being out of almost $11,000 total for a "cash car" I am only out of about $9,800. I would definitely look elsewhere or at least ask to have a full diagnostic done before doing business with K1. Taking advantage of honest people not wanting to or not having the ability to spend a lot of money is what I find is this guy's specialty. If I wanted to spend almost $10,000 on a vehicle, I could have gone to real car lot and had it financed.
