I love magic shops. The store employee (I'm not sure if he's the manager.) did not hesitate to show us some tricks with the products his customers was browsing. I have to admit, the products are very pricey, but has cool, imaginative value. I spent $10.65 on a hot rod with an instructional book. Because of the employee's friendly personality, we ended up chatting a bit and he also gave out flyers on magic shows performances happening at the Tropicana. After I bought the hot rod (American Express not accepted), I notice my hot rod had a scratch on it and the employee let me pick up another one. That's when I pulled the top package down off the hook, only to find clear, see-through hot rods. I ended up getting the clear stick instead. Overall, this is a small shop of goodies from the traditional fart cushions to yucky glue to the magic trick deck of cards. For the card that I picked, the employee was able to turn it upside down to reveal a blue backside instead of the red backside that was in the card deck. I was amazed. As a bonus, the employee tried to teach me how to use my product after I bought it so I can get a sense of how to do it on my own. Free lessons. read more
