It's the only restaurant at this sports complex that operates separately from the concessions stands at the complex itself. This sports centre is Canada's largest municipally owned and operated recreation facility. It's huge, as it houses six arenas. Many hockey teams are here to practise and play, including the Whitby Wildcats. It also has two indoor pools. BarDown Gastropub is great if you want to grab a bite to eat before or after a game. Our group wasn't here for sports, so it works for lunch and dinner. The food is excellent. It also houses the largest screen in Whitby to see the latest sports games. Since the City of Whitby owns this property, it has a contract with Pepsi. You get Pepsi products at concession stands, vending machines, and BarDown Gastropub. There are banquet and meeting rooms that you can rent. It also has a pro shop to get your skates sharpened and athletic training facilities. When it's warmer outside, this place has six tennis courts, five baseball diamonds, and a soccer field open. It's huge here. There is lots of parking. It's free. I was here with friends on a Sunday afternoon. This sports complex is open every day from 8:30 am till roughly 8:30 pm. If you have a water bottle, you can fill it up at the water bottle fill-up station. It was nice checking this place out briefly. It's cool and a valuable asset to Whitby and beyond. (79)

The theatre was quite clean and had your standard staff showing you the way to your seats. The stage was quite close to our seats but it wasn't close enough to make you feel your apart of the stage. However that can be a great thing and not so much as a con. I didn't get to experience the concession during intermission but my husband did say it was "not bad." The acoustics were good and the seats were comfortable. The knock down of the star is the difficulty and lack of parking offered near the theatre. However there was construction happening so that may change in the future. 7/10

After enduring some of the more popular Toronto venues (i.e. cramped leg room (or no leg room),…read morebottomed out seats, too much perfume/after shave, poor air-quality and poor acoustics), what an absolute pleasure it was to attend a show last night in a wonderful venue. The Regent Theatre in Oshawa is a magnificant structure, recently renovated and has not only charm but good acoustics, great air quality and seats which are comfortable, newly upholstered with a reasonable amount of leg room. So glad I discovered this place. Have decided to book tickets there again for a show in May. Took us 40 minutes to drive from Toronto to Oshawa - no hardship and worth it.

Otherwise it does give you the benefit of having free parking for students. You just need to sign up at the office and they give you a pass up until the end of summer. The profs at Trent has extremely nice and are available to meet whenever needed. Every single prof I have had, I didn't have any issues with them. With a small campus, everyone has a familiar face. Every morning I walk in, the person sitting at the front desk always says hi and to have a good day. I haven't seen a more friendlier staff and school. Loved my experience here!

The worst Residence I have ever seen. Students dealt with No wifi in a completely online year, as…read morewell as flooding, breaking elevators, holes in the wall, construction as early as 6 am with no warning and harassment by security guards. The housing department is easily the most unorganized and unprofessional group of people I have ever met. If you are living here and have a question or concern, do not expect it to be addressed. Expect ignorant unprofessional staff members at this residence. Not to mention that the majority of the students living at this campus are being evicted currently.

The facility is decent with a fairly big common area and a bar area that serves alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The washrooms have been upgraded so it looks a lot nicer than before. For group events you can bring your own food to cater. If you obey by the facility rules especially ones that affects the ice then it is a decent place to curl and staff is friendly. If there are any chance that you might damage the ice thry will be out to give you a talkng. Parking spaces is limited which is a down side for big group events but there are some street parking outside.
