Captain David truly is the best & most experienced sailor on the Hudson. We were visiting from California & as it was my husband's first time in the City, I really wanted to give him the best possible view of the skyline. Tribeca Sailing met & exceeded expectations. The sail was the highlight of our trip! Highly recommend to anyone visiting or residing in NYC. You won't be disappointed!

Captain David is amazing! I booked the Tara for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was such a delight! It was just us two and Captain David and he made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole ride. He was so much fun to talk to and get to know, and he allowed us to see NYC in such a great way. There is no better way to see the skyline!! Thank you so much for an amazing birthday weekend.

Beautiful day to sail the Hudson !Amazing views of Lady Liberty!

We had the best time sailing the Hudson with David. He is very professional and full of information. We brought wine & snacks aboard as we sailed to The impressive Statue of Liberty. The boat is beautiful and has a restroom on board as well ( bonus:) This was a highlight of our trip to NYC. As far as private boats go I thought this was very reasonable for the 6 of us making wonderful memories together on our vacation. Thanks David for a very memorable sail!

It seems like a lot of tourists like this trip but I can tell you first hand that it was great for us as NYC residents as well. My wife and I took the night private sail last night with Captain Sam and could not have had a better experience. Sam was great. The boat was great. Lots of laughs. Great photos including some up close and personal with Lady Liberty. We are already planning our next trip with them. We packed some champagne and dinner for the trip but barely got around to the food as we were enjoying ourselves so much. It was an amazing night! Don't even hesitate. Book them and don't think twice.

Another fabulous sail on Tara. This is my third time taking colleagues and friends aboard for a sunset or night sail. The lights of the city are amazing and with only six aboard this excursion can't be beat. Hope you get a chance to experience the big Apple from the Hudson.

Captain Dave is great! The weather was perfect for us, and we had a great trip. My friends were thrilled I planned something unique for the afternoon, and it really took very little effort. It's fun for New Yorkers and tourists. This is much, much better than doing a standard boat tour. We brought wine, cheese, hummus, and crackers. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

To start, the arrival instructions emailed in advance were accurate and easy to follow and accounted for local construction. Our tour was for us and one couple; Captain Bryant was our captain, and he was an absolute delight. He went through the safety information and told us what to expect from our time on the water as well as some information about our boat before leading us to it right on time. The boat was at the end of the floating docks with a lockable storage container nearby in case anyone wanted to store purses or backpacks. We got a bit of a chuckle once we got on board, because we had never seen seats like this on a boat before! The seats were two across and you sat on one by straddling. Grab bars were at the front. (There aren't any seatbelts!) Captain Bryant told us the seats in the front were the "bounciest", so naturally, that's what we chose. We went slowly out of the marine before -- with a heads up -- our captain got us to what felt like a pretty high speed! My mom and I are both moderate adrenaline junkies and were pretty thrilled. It was a definite rush but never, ever felt unsafe. From there, Captain Bryant alternating between "hitting the gas" and stopping at multiple spots for absolutely stunning views of midtown, downtown, the Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and more. He was super clear, easy to understand, and informative about each stop but never boring. He also took photos (with our own phones) at the stops whenever we wanted, which was very kind. He got us back after the hour -- again, right on time, and we chatted with him a bit about how enjoyable he finds this job. It's clear in the entire experience what a wonderful fit it is for him -- and he is for it. I wouldn't recommend this tour for someone with mobility or balance issues, or someone who would feel exposed and anxious in such a relatively small (but FAST) boat out on the rivers. But for me, it's one of my favorite boat tours I've ever taken anywhere. It was 1000% worth the money (with no upselling!).

Downtown makes sense, since there are plenty of attractions surrounding the lower Hudson and East Rivers architecturally.
