Before I could even enjoy my shower the tile walls started cracking. There was a big hole in one tile that had been filled in with grout to hide. The tiles on the bathroom floors started coming up immediately. There were so many things wrong. I eventually had to hire another contractor to come in and demo EVERYTHING that Joe had done, and redo my entire bathroom again. When the new contractor took out the shower, we found that the pipes had cuts in them and Joe had just covered them up. Everything that Joe did had to be replaced because of the poor installation. I paid him over 28k, and I paid for most of the materials myself. He is very dishonest, and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep. He said he would call me to schedule a meeting to talk about a refund, and he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails or text. if you are considering him for a job, DON'T!!!!! He and his workers who are not licensed, scratched my laminate flooring in 3 rooms. Unfortunately my flooring is no longer available so the rooms would need to be completely replaced. He said he could fix the scratches, but he hasn't. He has no regard for personal property.

In both projects, there was very detail tile work and they did a very nice job. Also, when we asked questions and provided feedback on some areas - they were very professional and accommodating and clearly focused on making us happy. For the parts of our laundry list that Eric's team doesn't directly complete, he connected us with high quality contractors to do the work (including Ed Pozsony of EDM Carpentry and Ted Frasier at Raleigh Premium Cabinets) and helped manage any questions that arose from these contacts. There were tons of curve balls renovating an old kitchen, and Eric + team's quality of service (and cheerful disposition!) and quality of work never wavered. He had to solve for a couple challenges, most notably that the new flooring was thicker and thus created a disparity with the entrance to the master closets in the bathroom and to the master bedroom. "Hey Molly this is Mark with kitchen tuneup hey I just got off the phone with my corporate folks just understand the new a a contractual agreements _ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ with our new um new owners and and I'm not shell the deposit is nonrefundable but you have they give you 90 days you know just in case you go decide you want to do it um you know however that that is up to my discretion how long that is so say yes LOL I'm gonna have to wait till August September whatever on we you know we can put you on the calendar um I think I'm gonna be able to find work next week I got somebody just today that's got a a a a couple... I love the fact that it's family owned cause I think it's great to support small business around our area. Mark, his son Blake and their family friend ( please forgive me I forgot his name!! :( ) were outstanding, they were always always always on time, very clean, very detail oriented, and were so patient and kind when my kids would ask them all these questions while they worked lol.
