DO NOT FILE TAXES HERE. Horrible service, last year I paid nearly $800 to have my taxes filed…read more This year when I went to file my next years taxes I was informed that H&R Block never filed my taxes. As a result I got a $7200 fine from the IRS and H&R Block takes no responsibility for their mistake. Additionally the employees at this location treated me like I was trying to scam them out of some information they were as unhelpful as they could possibly be. Somehow they couldn't find our payment in their system I had to show them my bank transaction where I paid just for them to believe me but still did not help at all and wanted us to just leave the store. They were obviously frustrated at us for some reason when it was them in the wrong not us. Never again will I file with HR Block.

When my husband and I first walked in, we were greeted and asked to fill out a form. Pretty standard. After filling out the form, we were asked if we wanted any brownies or water. BROWNIES!!! As much as I enjoyed the offer, I had to decline since I was so full from eating dinner before arriving. Just that little gesture made me have a homey feel in that building. The staff was very delightful. I know there were times of frustration while doing our taxes, but they persevered through it all to help us out. Everyone was so friendly. Even when we were still in the office well after hours, it did not seem like the staff was trying to rush us out at all. I highly recommend this place for any tax help in the future!

In the…read morepast I have used H&R Block to prepare my taxes, but felt they very much just wanted to be done with me as quickly as possible so they could move on to the next customer. I also felt the accountant working on my taxes was not very experienced and was just checking boxes that I probably could've done if I just did my taxes myself. With Hunter, that was not the case. I felt he gave my finances the attention they needed, and he was not rushing me out the door. He also clearly has a lot of experience in the field, and that showed with the money he was able to save me. I can not recommend him highly enough.

They then refused to use a telephone to correct the issue. This business seems to ONLY want to do business over email. Well, I tried that. The picture below shows how many attempts I made to get my meeting rescheduled. After the fifth attempt, I FINNALY got a response saying they are now closed tor the season! Haha! The same email explained they would be back in the office on August 18th and to reach back out at that time to continue where we left off. I had no choice since they had all my original tax documents and I could not retrieve them. I waited patiently for this time to arrive. They just returned back to the office at the said time and notified me that since I missed the onboarding call on April 22 that they refused to reschedule, they are not taking on any clients. If you are a high net-worth client like myself, I would avoid this company like the plague. They are unresponsive (as shown below), they lack systems to help when a client cant get into a meeting, they have no issue lying about revisiting your tasks after their promise to do so.
