Took my camper here twice. Once to have Solar panels installed and another time to fix a leak that had sprung in my camper. All issues could have been resolved preemptively by proper testing and diagnosis. This is the core of all issues that have sprung up. Poor customer service: shifted blame away from themselves in exchanges in almost every instance where something had gone wrong. Either it being the parts they ordered not being of great quality, or previous repairs that had been done by the owner before me. Was told that I need to wait in line for warranty repairs and that they can't do work for free. If you have a truck camper, consider going somewhere else because you will be without your truck for however long it takes for repairs which could be a long time during peak seasons. Other shops have ways to store these campers while they are not being worked on. This place does not. Store honored warranty first time and did not honor it for the second repair. My camper had been worked on relatively fast in all instances. But many issues rose up in the two times I brought my camper in. When I got it back the first time, the AC power did not work through the electrical panel and I could only power things directly from the converter. There was a wiring error that was fixed pretty quickly. Before I brought it in the first time, they were pretty responsive and communication was clear enough for me. They had mentioned my Rhino liner may get in the way of replacing the membrane later if I continued to use my camper. (Will get back to this later) The second time I brought it back was the solar system with a 2000W converter blew a fuse within seconds of using a 750W microwave. That had caused the solar panels to blow a fuse also. Had to wait another few weeks for replacement parts and a cutoff switch was added. Im not sure why there wasn't a cutoff switch added in the first place because solar panels charging a battery in temperatures below freezing will damage lithium battery's and a cutoff switch is important to prevent that sort of damage. Eventually we were able to make the 2000W converter work with everything. I have not had issues with this since then. The other repair was for a leak I had. I had already stripped the area and pointed out where the leaks were coming from. There were 3 leaks and 2 of the 3 were fixed. Turns out in fact there was a hole in the Rhino liner that had been missed in the damage inspection. They refused to replace the interior where the water damage occurred from the unfixed leak and refused to honor the warranty. I was able to fix the leak myself but I am still left with this new plywood that has been stained by water damage that they refuse to replace under warranty. Their reason was that the leak was due to the rhino liner which couldn't be addressed without significant expense and that if it was, "beyond where we were asked to repair" they can't honor the warranty. I am paraphrasing a bit for concisions sake. I have since then found an easy fix that was relatively painless that just required caulk and paint. They had tried to reason with me saying they underquoted me among other things. I had mentioned that they could have tested it better and could have found the source and then was told I would have to wait in line in order for anything to be done. Thats not really how warranty repairs should be done, but I think it was just to deter me from bringing it back and well, it worked. Also the paint had been stripped from the trim and the area was never filled back in. I had to do this on my own to prevent further leaks and the shop was not interested in a remedy for that. There were many other exchanges, but none with relevant context to this review. I believe I have wrote enough to summarize my experience and feelings between communication. TLDR: Many issues came up because of poor testing and diagnosis. Deflected blame away from them any time they could. Deterred me from bringing it back for warranty repairs. I have a 2016 Forest River 30 foot camper. Took it here for repair and as they started their assessment, I should have read the tea leaves... Firstly, I needed the slide-out fixed. After the parts came in, They discovered my axles were bent from whatever, had to buy new axles. Then, afterward when they Installed them, called me and told me I needed new tires... or they couldn't guarantee the work. It was only after they installed the tires, they told me they could not repair the slide after what they claimed was excessive time spent and bent frame. At that point the owner said they could not fix it and suggested I sell it for scrap or to an unsuspecting person and claim there were slide out issues or sell it for permanent setup at an RV park. After $6300 + spent. They were upset that I was not happy. The slide was not installed straight. AND instead of screws, they used pop rivets to reinstall the new slide motors. Enough bad stuff. They claim no responsibility for any of the repairs... Okay... I fixed the slide-out with an engineer and installed rollers under the slide inside fir support. I ordered and replaced my stove fan, Maxair cover, sealed the roof and replaced several broken screws. The Brakes on the new axles were not adjusted, wiring was left exposed and trimming was left flopping in the wind. Sadly, I will not return for any reason. read more
