I sent pictures of my small oval pool with a partial overflow--Thank goodness nothing did. However, when the covers were removed Friday, the smell was really bad and we couldn't see what was the bottom of muck. But, in the 16 years since the pool was built, the pool was ALWAYS clean & clear when the covers were taken off until now. I had to get the most leaves, branches, etc. with the net, which is hard to do when the water is black. I ran the big robot vacuum for 4 full cycles, having to clean both filters between each. The 2 drains in the bottom were caked with crud. I had to scrub it with a still brush. And I spent hours cleaning 8 brand new filters that were put in just to cycle the shock. I immediately went to the pool place to get super shock and it's getting better. It's not just about the money, it's getting a job right. .I understand this may not the norm, but I've learned a lesson.

Liner lock was coming out even in the corners which he claimed to have hammered and said it was primarily important in the corners and you "didn't need it all around the pool" tell me why my liner is now coming out in the corners and the liner lock literally all around the pool is coming out. He also didn't smooth out the sand base until my dad insisted on him doing it. Left the old liner here in the pool area when he told my dad would dispose of it. The liner lock went in PERFECTLY when I took the time to put it in myself and it locked in GREAT which tells me he didn't hammer it in at all or did poor job. He was nice and responsive at first, but really just left us wishing we had someone else come out and do it. I hate to do this but I tried to take it up with him and maybe have him come out and fix it and he didn't care or even try to make it right he just gave us an excuse.
