There is an excellent instructor to student ratio in all the classes, and their flexibility in scheduling makes it very easy to attend two classes per week. The skill and confidence Kung Fu Kids has given my son can't be overstated. He's even taken to calling me "sir," which I would never demand of him but certainly don't mind coming of his own volition. The coaches do a great job making the class fun and engaging, while still managing to teach the kids the fundamentals of kung fu and self defense. I'm so glad a coworker recommended Kung Fu Kids and that we enrolled my son. He's excited to continue working through his belts.

The instructors here are all amazing. No egos, happy to answer all questions and match the pace of their students without hesitation. It is awesome to have a great group of people to exercise and learn with every week. The Dojo is a family. Again, no egos, lots of learning and fun. Of course the best part is how practical the curriculum is. Everything is focused on self-defense for real life situations. Yes, Marshall Arts have art in them, but USSD is focused on very practical skills. After a few weeks my daughter couldn't resist starting too. She absolutely loves it and will no doubt out rank me in no time!

I can't recommend this studio enough. Learning the difficult karate skills aside, this place has truly been a godsend for our daughter.

Emotionally strengthening components of the programs & classes including self control, accountability, courage, confidence, kindness, self respect, respect for others, and so much more!! The quote from Sensei Mark Cameron states that at Manteca Martial Arts they believe that: "A Goal is a Dream with a Deadline." To me the quote is a good example of the balance of physical & emotional teachings here.
